01/07/2025: To celebrate our 48th wedding anniversary, my wife and I wanted to see Florence again, staying in the surrounding area. So we discovered this “Paradise” 20 minutes from Florence where we spent 4 “fairytale” days, surrounded by cypress trees, olive trees, vineyards, gardens and well-kept paths, as well as relaxation areas with swimming pools. The room, perfect for us, had a private patio and a view of the Chianti hills. The “Trattoria del Contadino” restaurant made us taste typical Tuscan and quality Chianti dishes produced in the Agriturismo itself. I want to mention, in particular, the amazing battered courgette flowers and the excellent 2021 Chianti, recommended by the owner. All the staff were more than courteous and very professional. It was a very positive experience, definitely to be repeated, perhaps staying a few more days. Thanks to the owners and all the staff.

08/06/2025: It was the second time we came to eat a pizza. The first time everything was ok, the pizzas were good, but there are other very good and less expensive places. The service this time left us perplexed. The 20 minute wait to be accompanied to the table, despite the reservation, was nothing compared to what we expected later. 45 minutes to bring out two pizzas! Finally arrived, we started eating only to be interrupted shortly after by 2 waiters because they needed our table. Outside a group of guys had been waiting for a long time who obviously had reservations but their table wasn't ready. So we moved with our plates and glasses. No excuse, no discount, nothing at all. I don't know if I'll go back....

06/07/2025: I'll start by saying that the staff is very friendly, in the sense that we were fooled for our reservation. We started with an appetizer of shrimp tartar in a cannoli, every single bite was nauseating. To say tasteless is to give it a compliment. Even though it is a mainly fish restaurant, I chose to take the only meat dish, 5 ribs from which I got 3 forkfuls of food, all 3 of which were made of cartilage. 27 euros for ribs on the bone without meat seems excessive to me, I ended up eating the bread basket because I was still hungry, at least the focaccia was good. If you think that the problem is limited to the meat since it is a fish restaurant, I will also mention the dish that my boyfriend had, a 17 euro peppered mussel dish that was made up of 6 cash mussels, which tasted only of bread and tomato. I don't want to specify the price we paid for 6 people but I strongly advise you not to go and find out.

06/07/2025: We ate there last night and it was a taste experience. Italian cuisine reinterpreted. Absolutely delicious. Plenty for vegetarians too. Great value for money. A must-visit.

31/05/2025: A place where you can feel at home, Simone welcomes you with his jokes and gives you sincere laughter. In a calm and quiet corner of Florence in this place you can drink a glass of excellent wine and relax away from the crowd of this big city, highly recommended!!!

09/07/2025: A fantastic pizza with a very special crust: crispy yet soft on the inside. Exactly halfway between a Neapolitan and a crunchy pizza. Well-topped, rich in flavor, and easy to digest. Tables on a quiet street, a relaxing and informal atmosphere.

08/07/2025: The best pizza dough I've ever eaten. Excellent toppings. Delicious combinations. Try the pizza with Nutella and Kinder Bueno...a delicious treat for a sweet end.

07/07/2025: Spectacular view! I highly recommend booking in advance and asking for a table near the windows: at sunset the atmosphere is truly magical. Impeccable service, excellent Vermentino. We really enjoyed the spaghetti with clams and bottarga and the tagliolini with fish sauce, both delicious. The artisanal desserts are a real surprise, very good. The bill is fair for the quality offered. The corner with costume jewelry and sarongs for sale is also very nice, with excellent prices and good quality. An experience to repeat!

05/07/2025: We had dinner in this little corner of paradise hidden in a small alley in the province of Florence and we were pleasantly surprised by the goodness of the cuisine and the particularity of the dishes... a pork rib marinated in beer and a sort of fish broth on a carrot cream... it may seem strange to write it, but I assure you that the flavor is excellent, slightly sweet and sour that enhances the goodness of the meat and the flavor of the pork, excellently cooked. The appetizers are also exquisite, with its excellent cutting board and tartare, and the first courses with its excellent risottos. Good wine list. The quality/price ratio is fair... a dinner with appetizer, main course, water, wine about 40 euros... I would say fair, considering the goodness of the dishes and the right portion. Pleasant and professional service.
