22/10/2025: On the owner's recommendation, we had the panini with ham, Brie, and braised onions. It was excellent. The owner is extremely nice and accommodating. I would come back anytime.

11/11/2025: A very cozy and well-kept place, in step with the times. We tried the Roman-style "Mortazza" and vegetarian pork crancio, both delicious. The former is very crunchy, while the latter is softer due to the larger amount of vegetables. Quick service Highly recommended.

03/09/2025: Excellent piadinas! The menu is rich in options: vegetarian, vegan, and omnivorous. The piadinas are large and well-filled. The service is friendly and helpful, and the prices are fair. There's a decent-sized parking lot in front of the restaurant. Recommended!

27/09/2025: An experience to forget. We entered this restaurant only because we were caught in the rain and driven by hunger. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a truly unfortunate choice. The service was practically nonexistent: the bread arrived at the end of the dinner and the customer service was zero. We ordered a mixed fried fish dish with calamari, shrimp, and mixed seafood. We were served five microscopic shrimp and six squid rings. When we asked for clarification on the lack of mixed seafood, they brought us two slices of fried morena, with such an unpleasant smell that we had to open the windows. The bill? Horrifying, especially considering the quality and quantity of the food served. We pointed out the lack of mixed seafood, hoping for a common-sense gesture from the owner, but nothing. In hindsight, we would never have gone in. A place to absolutely avoid.

12/09/2025: Excellent seafood restaurant with many options, even off-menu ones. The fish is fresh and very well cooked. We had excellent tagliolini with sea bass and garlic and turbot with potatoes, both excellent. Prices are in line with other restaurants on the island. It has mostly outdoor seating and is close to the port, like almost all other seafood restaurants. The service was friendly and fast. I recommend dining here if you're looking for a seafood dinner in Giglio Porto. I also recommend making a reservation.

19/07/2025: Alla fine li ho presi tutti e due. Poi la titolare ha commentato: ganzo prenderli entrambi... simpatia, prodotto ottimo, originale l'idea del coccio in un locale veramente carino a due passi dal centro. Ci ritorniamo!!

14/09/2025: Recently visited this charming little bar located conveniently near the University of Messina. As expected for the area, you'll find plenty of students frequenting this spot, creating a lively academic atmosphere. Space & Seating: The bar is quite compact with limited seating, so if you're planning to visit with a larger group, I'd recommend arriving early or being prepared to wait. During daytime hours, the outdoor seating can get quite sunny, making indoor spots more comfortable. Service & Staff: The service was pleasant, with friendly male and female bartenders who were professional and accommodating throughout my visit. I ordered the Crema di Caffè with Panna, which offered good value for money in terms of both quality and portion size. While it was enjoyable and reasonably priced, I wouldn't say it's the absolute best Crema di Caffè you'll find in Messina – but certainly worth trying. Overall: A decent neighborhood spot that's definitely worth a try if you're walking through this area of Messina. While it has some limitations in terms of space and the sweetness level of certain items, the friendly service and reasonable prices make it a solid choice for a quick coffee break, especially if you're in the university district. Recommended for: Students, coffee lovers, quick stops, solo visits

13/10/2025: It's a circus. I was very disappointed by the price. I paid in cash without a receipt. There are better restaurants and they're cheaper. Very disappointed.

22/11/2025: We'd been recommended a place to eat in the square, and the terrace looked lovely, but inside it was filthy, and the waitress smelled awful of sweat! It was really unpleasant because she was in the dining area the whole time, and I know that puts you off eating! She was wearing wool gloves, which was completely unhygienic, and a fleece jacket. There were wine stains on the floor that hadn't even been cleaned up. And the bathroom… well, you can imagine… The pizza was €10, but the quality was terrible. I'm sure there are much better places to eat.

24/09/2025: Lovely interiors and atmosphere. Great hide-away in the middle of the crowd, and beautiful seating both indoors and outdoors. The service was lovely, headed by Mattia who showed us their bar (in the picture) and really made the experience more personalised - we will for sure be back. In terms of the food, the ingredients were really fresh where you could really taste the quality. Their generousity is also very commendable.

23/09/2025: We had a wonderful evening at Restaurant Irene in Florence. The location on Piazza della Repubblica could not be more perfect, right in the heart of the city. The atmosphere was elegant yet welcoming, with a warm and stylish setting that made our dinner truly special. The service was excellent – attentive, professional, and very friendly, making us feel well cared for throughout the evening. The food was beautifully presented and full of flavor, from the fresh and vibrant starter to the perfectly prepared pasta and risotto. Everything was of outstanding quality. Overall, Irene is the ideal place to enjoy a refined dinner in Florence with great cuisine, impeccable service, and a unique atmosphere. Highly recommended!

05/10/2025: I went there for dinner with my wife on a Friday evening. Despite the restaurant being packed, the service was quick and very courteous and helpful. The fried fish and vegetables were delicious, crispy, cooked just right and not too oily. The Vermentino white wine was good. The place was nice and welcoming, and the prices were fair. The only downside is that it's located inside a gas station, but it's a good deal because it has ample parking and is easily accessible.

24/08/2025: Dream vacation! We stayed as a family at this beautiful property in the Val di Chiana and couldn't have asked for anything better. The apartment was large, spotlessly clean, equipped with every comfort and with incredibly comfortable beds. The view of the Tuscan countryside, with its sunflowers, is something you'll never forget. Extremely kind staff: Nadia was always available, friendly, and very professional, and Mr. Franco also welcomed us with great courtesy. We chose half-board and ate deliciously, with traditional Tuscan dishes prepared with care. The dining room staff was truly impeccable. The pool is large, clean, and has plenty of space to relax. The property is dog-friendly and perfect for families with children: my niece was thrilled! Lots of green spaces and the opportunity to even experience flying thanks to the on-site school... truly exciting! Excellent location for visiting the Val di Chiana, Val d'Orcia, and even Umbria. Breakfast served in your room was a real treat, a real treat. A special thank you for the attention paid to my brother-in-law's birthday: cake and sparkling wine provided by the staff, a gesture we greatly appreciated. We were treated with great care. Highly recommended, we'll definitely be back!

17/07/2025: I'm not giving the rooms stars because we didn't stay overnight because we live nearby. Yesterday was my daughter's third birthday in a row at the Serristori in Castiglion Fiorentino, Manciano to be precise. An afternoon at the pool with my daughter, the birthday girl, and my family, as well as her friends from school. A place can be beautiful and fulfilling, but people like Nadia at the front desk make it unique. A very kind, yet serious and meticulous young woman, always ready to offer the service requested by the guest, such as an aperitif by the pool or a hairdryer because we didn't have one. Then in the evening, I asked her for a fork and knife that I was missing, and she also gave me a new napkin. I told her I had one, and she replied that I had dropped it (two seconds earlier, and she was quick to notice) and so she was giving it to me clean. True customer service. Exceptional pizzas, and with the constant presence of Franco, one of the partners, always smiling and welcoming. Well, if you haven't yet tried the relaxing pool and good food, give them a try. They're also a great place to soar, with their landing strip for small planes and helicopters, offering a bird's-eye view of the Valdichiana from Cortona to Lake Trasimeno. See you soon....

28/05/2025: Da non perdere. Cibo spettacolare, abbinamenti di sapori che non ti aspetti, eppure azzeccatissimi. Uno chef con grande talento, accoglienza impeccabile e ambiente davvero carino. Non dico altro, andate a provarlo, e ci tornerete!
