10/04/2025: Siamo stati attirati dalla suggestiva location sul mare e abbiamo deciso di fermarci per pranzo al ristorante Calafuria, sul lungomare di Livorno. Purtroppo, si è rivelata una delle esperienze gastronomiche più deludenti degli ultimi tempi. L’aperitivo – un prosecco millesimato accompagnato da una mini frittura di paranza – lasciava ben sperare. Ma è stato solo un miraggio. Appena arrivati i primi piatti, il disastro si è materializzato già all’impatto visivo. Abbiamo ordinato un tagliolino alle vongole, ma è arrivata una linguina sbiadita, praticamente bianca, priva di qualsiasi condimento, senza sale e – udite udite – con più sabbia che vongole. Un insulto al piatto simbolo della costa. Il mio spaghetto al nero di seppia con tartare di gambero rosso e stracciatella? Semplicemente un’altra illusione. Niente nero di seppia, sapore inesistente, piatto completamente diverso da quello descritto in menu. Un accostamento confuso e insapore, che sembrava improvvisato sul momento con ciò che restava in cucina. Abbiamo fatto subito presente al cameriere il disagio, anche perché i piatti sono tornati in cucina praticamente intatti. Quel poco che mancava è stato più frutto della fame che della bontà. Nessuna scusa, nessuna attenzione, servizio inesistente. Il tutto condito da un’attesa di 45 minuti in un locale desolatamente vuoto. Ciliegina sulla torta? Un conto da 85€ che definire salato è un eufemismo. Sarebbe stato il minimo sindacale togliere dal conto almeno il piatto completamente rifiutato, ma nemmeno quello. In sintesi: disorganizzazione totale, servizio inesistente, cucina improvvisata e prezzi ingiustificabili. Una pessima figura che neanche il panorama mozzafiato riesce a salvare.

22/04/2025: Don't miss it!!!! Immersed in the nature of Prato Magno! it's an excellent refreshment point!! Abundant appetizers and well-made traditional first courses!!! Good meat!! Polite and very helpful staff, they let us eat at 4pm even though the kitchen was closed by then! Very kind! Excellent value for money! Also excellent for a snack with a nice dessert or a snack platter with cold cuts and cheeses!!! In short, you will want to come back!!! Tables both inside and outside so even if the weather is bad you can enjoy an excellent meal at high altitude!!! From here with a nice walk of 45 minutes or so you get to the Cross with a spectacular view! From Trasimeno to Florence!

20/04/2025: I've been there several times to eat: good starters but first and second courses not exceptional, I'd say edible. Waiters a little busy and distracted given the amount of people who come in the summer months. Prices a little more expensive than average but this is okay given the location of the restaurant. Average desserts. Good air!!!! 😉

02/05/2025: In a quiet square slightly away from the center, this Locanda offers high quality food at very fair prices. From the mixed cold cuts platter to the ribollita, passing through the pici and tagliatelle, it was all delicious! The staff is also very friendly and helpful! Highly recommended place!
