30/10/2025: A good family-run restaurant where you can have lunch until late (3 pm). It wasn't our first choice, but we have no regrets: pleasant service, well-prepared pasta, and delicious homemade tiramisu. It's clean and well-located (at the back of the promenade, but very close), away from the crowds. Prices are reasonable. The music was a bit loud, but perhaps that was because it wasn't very busy on that Thursday in October...

25/10/2025: Seriously inadequate in every way. I chose it with my family somewhat by chance, strolling through the inner streets of Viareggio. We ordered spaghetti allo scoglio with shellfish that hadn't been cleaned properly, and a seafood pizza that was actually a marinara with tiny octopus added—embarrassing. Given the time and the child's hunger, we didn't leave. The service was poor, and the staff lacked training (drinks were wrong and remade, the bread basket wasn't fresh and contained one slice and two crusts, the waitress chewed gum, and I'll leave it there). The atmosphere is a bit noisy (tables a little too close together), but I'll save it since it's a pizzeria. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. I've definitely found better, much better, in Viareggio.

09/11/2025: Friendly owner, wide variety of food, including pizza. The burgers are good, in my opinion. It's hard to find a table without a reservation, but the owner does his best to accommodate everyone. The waiter is chatty, and you should definitely get to know him; he's a real character.

01/11/2025: First time this evening, excellent experience. Very nice place. Even though it was a Saturday night and so crowded, I noticed excellent, well-organized service. The pizza was very good (well-designed menu with well-matched toppings), but above all, the dessert was spectacular; I had the pear cooked in Chianti with gelato. I definitely recommend this place.

02/11/2025: A trattoria like those of yesteryear, perfectly in keeping with the stunning surrounding landscape! I recommend it to those who love traditional cuisine, and I also recommend it for its cleanliness and service!

21/09/2025: A historic tavern frequented by speleologists, a must-try. Lunch during mushroom season. Everything was excellent, including the fried rabbit. The waiter was super friendly and fast.

13/08/2025: Special pinza, top-notch hospitality and service, even for me, a vegan. Pet-friendly place, cuddles and fresh water for my giant fee. Definitely worth a try!!

12/10/2025: I visited Vecchio Carlino during a weekend in Florence and fell in love with it. The atmosphere is authentic and welcoming, with a touch of Tuscan tradition that makes you feel instantly at home. The staff is incredibly kind and always ready to recommend the perfect dish or a good local wine. The food is simply fantastic: I tried the Florentine steak, cooked to perfection, and the pici with ragù—truly unforgettable! The desserts also deserve a special mention, especially the house tiramisu. Excellent value and a true Tuscan culinary experience.

09/11/2025: Everything was very good, although perhaps it was my impression that we noticed a difference between pizza eaten at the table/restaurant with whole pizzas and quarters at the tables outside.

19/08/2025: I was in Prunetta at the farmhouse and had some excellent pizzas and fried pasta to go. The place is charming and well-decorated, definitely a great choice for cool mountain walks.

15/11/2025: Cortesia dei Pazzi is a small Tuscan restaurant in the heart of Florence. The rustic atmosphere was immediately apparent upon entering, with tables and chairs featuring wrought-iron legs. We ordered pizzas, which were delicious, and finished with a coffee and amaro. The service was very friendly.

28/10/2025: Very nice atmosphere and good quality food, the problem... the service. Slow in general... the girl who does the "service" wasn't very well trained, the owner on the other hand was invisible and only "served" people he knew with a certain amount of attention... consequently, he wasn't even able to recommend a wine for our table... a big no for the timing, we sat down at 8 and didn't see the second course until two and a half hours later... a bit too much for what was served. Not to mention the prices, I can understand them, but €5.50 for a... a large potato cut into rounds... absurd... I wouldn't recommend it unless you're friends with the owner.

19/09/2025: You can savor the true pleasure of having a host serving you. One of the best tuna steaks I've ever tasted. Must try.

04/10/2025: We found this place by chance. The atmosphere is beautiful and relaxing. It's a shame there's a mismatch between service, food, and prices. Arriving at a newly opened and empty restaurant, we waited over half an hour for an appetizer and a first course, and almost as long for a second course. The staff is very courteous and friendly, but the service takes a long time, even for truly express cuisine. The ingredients are high-quality, but the portions are extremely small, disguised in a gourmet-style plating, which is reflected in the pricey bill. I wouldn't recommend it.

28/09/2025: Truly a splendid location, discovered by chance while strolling around. The exterior was already captivating, but the interior was a real surprise: a warm and welcoming environment, thoughtfully designed down to the smallest detail, including the restrooms. The service was very friendly, especially considering that we requested vegan and vegetarian options, and we were more than satisfied even with dishes off the menu. The dishes were very good, as was the recommended wine. I found no discrepancies in the final bill: a cheese board, a first course, two appetizers, a bean salad, water, two glasses of wine, and a coffee for €75, literally a stone's throw from the historic center. Recommended!

21/09/2025: We had the best meal here in Lido di Camaiore. Even though the prices are on the higher side, in retrospect, it was reasonable. The food was incredibly delicious, the service very friendly, and the ambiance was fantastic. We would definitely come back.
