08/09/2025: On our way back from a visit to the superb Verrucole Fortress (which I highly recommend), we stopped here for a bite to eat. The choice was between sandwiches and a platter, and we opted for the latter. The platter, for two, was generous with excellent cured meats—the lardo in particular was divine—and cheeses, accompanied by a small bowl of excellent local honey and sweet and sour pickled onions. A delicious homemade bread and focaccia completed this delicious meal overlooking Mount Pisanino.

12/11/2025: We tried both the bn pizzeria and the restaurant, everything was well-cooked and tasty. The service was fast and courteous.

01/11/2025: This isn't my first time at Amorino. I'd already noticed the coldness and unhelpfulness of some of the staff, but they were overlooked because the food was so good. Last time, I had dinner with friends from abroad. I took them out for pizza, confident it would be delicious, and they served us pizzas so thin, so thin, the only way to eat them was to fold them in 4. My complaints were quickly dismissed by a waiter, and 20 minutes later, a curly-haired girl arrived, even making jokes in the manner of a joke. This really pissed me off. There's no point in offering coffee, which included some half-witted jokes. I'd be tempted to give you a 1 for the problem-solving skills of the wait staff.

Thank you❣️ Yes, and today we were there again, as we have been for so many years, whenever we've been with Caroline and Daniele! Fantastic food!!! A price-performance ratio that is no longer available in Germany! And on top of that, a wonderful, family-friendly atmosphere and very lovely staff❣️ We'll be back soon! Thank you 😍

26/10/2025: The new management has brought the historic Secchieta refuge back to life with a lovely stall selling its own produce and efficient service... the cycling jersey corner is very nice.

26/10/2025: A true mountain refuge, spacious and warm. Their product counter is spectacular, with their exquisite, delicious, superlative schiacciata! Various fillings available, generous portions, and a very affordable price! Their desserts are also exquisite! It's definitely worth a stop!

30/10/2025: Are you nervous and have had an argument with your partner? Go to Chicco D'uva. You'll find yourself again and there will be peace!!!! The atmosphere, food, and friendliness make Chicco an example that makes the difference 🏆

20/10/2025: I went to this restaurant today and had a great time. I tried the cheese mix, which wasn't the best, but I understand that was my request off the menu, so it's understandable. I was perhaps expecting something a little more refined. On the other hand, the seafood salad, the seafood linguine, and the tagliata were truly excellent. The waitress was very kind and attentive. The atmosphere is beautiful and quiet, and I'd gladly return to try something else! 👏🍷

16/09/2025: It has "Gourmet Street Food" in its name. It has nothing to do with gourmet. I had a "Würstel" (sausage). The dish could more accurately be described as a "Wiener in a dressing gown." Unfortunately, the dish was burnt. Something like that would have to be returned. The 0.3-liter beer cost 6 euros. Good restaurants are often cheaper. So, stay away.

07/09/2025: First time. Tiny takeout shop with a fabulous menu: incredibly original and delicious sandwiches. We tried the Vizio Gola with Chianina tuna, and Ira with zucchini flowers and orange zest, and... we decided to return to try the others. The owner is friendly and very kind. The Avarizia sandwich is brilliant: just bread (which is actually focaccia bread) with nothing inside, obviously extremely cheap! 😁. September 2025: Four years have passed, and we've been back every year (every time we pass through Viareggio), and it has never disappointed us. We'd tried almost all the "Vizi" (and a few small dishes), but never the Ottavo. So this time we try it: you think it's a normal burger, but you immediately realize it's not... Chianina beef burger, salad and cherry tomatoes, thin caciobuffalo cheese, magnificent caramelized Tropea onions, a little bell pepper, and... crispy pancetta, all in "their" special, delicious bread. And nothing... we even "dipped" the sauce left on the menu. Don't be scared by the price, it's worth it! The quality is excellent, the atmosphere small but welcoming, and the owner, Marco, is friendly and very helpful. And if you have to wait... just wait, you won't regret it. P.S. I'm not his sister! 😉

06/11/2025: I came here for lunch with my boyfriend and I can say that the dishes on the menu were delicious and very unique. We ordered two starters and two side dishes. Everything was delicious. Not to mention the staff, who were welcoming and warm from the start. Highly recommended!

05/10/2025: The seafood risotto was delicious, but what I absolutely loved was the fried food. It's been years since I've eaten such good fried food. My compliments, indeed.

26/07/2025: Utopia is the local hotspot, and has been for me for the last year I've been working in Santa Lucia. The atmosphere is casual, clean, and tidy. Family-run by Stefano, Rossella, and Elena, they're always kind, helpful, and cheerful. Highly recommended for breakfast, lunch, and aperitifs. Elena's cuisine is a must-try. The dishes are tasty, plentiful, and sophisticated, and excellent value.

17/09/2025: For me it's the best ice cream shop ever 🥰 starting from the excellent quality of the ice creams, cakes, pastries, crepes, etc., and for the always kind and welcoming staff, every time I go I feel at home. I recommend it with all my heart ❤️

10/08/2025: It's more of a business lunch bar/trattoria than a traditional restaurant. I had a fried fish dish that wasn't satisfying.

13/10/2025: Wonderful venue, dinner with a show... or enjoy a show with your favorite drink in hand... The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable, considering they're all volunteers. It's a new concept that seems to work well. Even if you come alone, you can easily sit at a shared table and meet new people, not only to socialize with but also to enjoy a pleasant show. If you make going there a habit, you'll always get a variety of quality shows.

21/09/2025: I went just at evening open, and the attention was excellent. Even though I don’t speak Italian, the young guy made a good effort with English. Everything went smoothly, and I took a pizza and a beer to go.👍

21/09/2025: The interior is beautiful, but the service is a punishment. The lack of communication in languages ​​other than Italian doesn't justify the lack of commitment and assistance in choosing dishes and side dishes. There's still a lot of work to do to meet the needs of restaurants in tourist areas. It's worth investing in staff training. Best regards, and good luck.

21/09/2025: The dishes were average in variety. Seafood was unavailable… the pasta with mushrooms was overcooked and the mushrooms seemed to be frozen. The meat dishes we ordered were basically good, but served without any accompaniments, and no one offered any advice on what to pair with them. And now I come to the service. The service was unsatisfactory; it seemed like a punishment, there was no assistance in choosing dishes, and basically no communication in any language other than Italian. We didn't order dessert. I don't recommend it.
