16/07/2025: I had a delicious cappuccino with oat milk due to my lactose intolerance. There were three different kinds to choose from! The juices were also delicious. The pistachio croissants were a bit less delicious. They were a kind of paste, like Nutella. The service was super friendly, and the café was beautifully decorated.

26/06/2025: It is a simple and familiar place. I have been there twice because I was really satisfied. The traditional cuisine is of excellent quality, with a particular note of value for the pleasant and talented use of spices, thyme and wild mint above all. When I find places like this I am always tempted not to advertise them so that they remain unnoticed and maintain their peculiarities but this appreciation really deserves to be shared. Beautiful view from the terrace.

17/07/2025: I was thrilled and would recommend this restaurant to anyone who enjoys fresh, delicious pizza. I was able to watch our pizzas being prepared behind the counter. Thank you for the option to choose vegan mozzarella instead of the animal product, as vegan pizza is rather rare in Florence. Very friendly service, very delicious pizza, I'm happy :)

14/07/2025: The food was very tasty and came out super quickly and very nicely presented. The wait staff were accomodating and the atmosphere was quite relaxing inc. music and overall vibes. All the food was organic too and locally sourced where possible!

The wine was incredible, huge shelf to choose from, meat and cheese board was perfect Can add small sharing bites with crisps for €1 per person The staff were so lovely Located on a busy square full of restaurants and bars, perfect Pisa evening

26/06/2025: Truly had the most incredible stay in The Place, Firenze. The service was beyond anything I’ve experienced before. They know your name and preferences once you tell them once (they share amongst each other without you ever repeating yourself). You can WhatsApp them at any time for recommendations on restaurants, gelato or whatever else you’re interested in. The breakfast is beautiful and part of your stay. The location actually works very well by being a little on the outside of the chaos but walkable to everywhere. The rooms were spotless and attended to multiple times per day. My wife mentioned she enjoyed fruit and next thing our room is filled with beautiful fresh fruit daily. It feels small and quaint and like a home from home. Wouldn’t stay anywhere else when we return to Firenze. Grazie miele to the entire team at The Place.

23/05/2025: The name “The Place” tells of the care of a hotel renovated with skill and with evocations of the Santa Maria Novella square in the use of materials and interior colors. The spaces are welcoming and private, the rooms relaxing. The dehor on the square offers a space for relaxation and conviviality in the open air and an excellent restaurant service. Attentive and helpful staff.

20/07/2025: In one word: FABULOUS! The ideal place for those who want to experience the flavor and authenticity of real homemade dishes, prepared with the dedication of someone who clearly chose the world of cooking out of passion, not obligation. We'd already been here in the winter when it was possible to eat indoors, and we returned now where we were able to eat on the outdoor terrace, quiet, comfortable, and ideal for couples and families. The welcome itself immediately puts you in a good mood, with Lorenzo also being an excellent waiter. I highly recommend it!

20/07/2025: Tourists are not welcome! We wanted to have dinner here and were first looked up and down by the waitress and then immediately sent away because there were supposedly no more free tables - the restaurant was empty...
