16/04/2025: What can be defined as an ultra-luxury cinema. Starting from the corridor, moving on to the drinks and popcorn counter, American style. Moving on to the most important element, namely the room with very comfortable armchairs, excellent audio and video system. Definitely the best cinema in the area. I don't live too close to Lucca, but also thanks to the Ezechiele film club, every now and then I manage to stop by and enjoy a film.

06/04/2025: When cinema gets tough, the Astra cinema in Lucca starts playing! Truly a luxury cinema, but at a normal price.

08/09/2024: Nos alojamos en Villa Petriolo por 6 noches en septiembre de 2024. No habíamos planeado ir al restaurante con estrella Michelin en el lugar, ya que generalmente evitamos los menús degustación y preferimos trattorias y osterías locales más casuales (como la excelente Osteria Golpaja, también en el lugar) , pero estamos muy contentos de haberlo hecho. Pudimos seleccionar platos a la carta de los dos menús degustación - uno vegetariano y otro mixto. Teníamos tres platos cada uno, un aperitivo, plato principal y postre de cada uno de los menús. Las opciones vegetarianas fueron las mejores, quizás no es de extrañar cuando todos los vinos y productos se cultivan en la finca sostenible en la que se encuentra el restaurante. El personal es apasionado por lo que ofrecen, pero sin pretensiones. La comida era divina, y el ambiente y el servicio en este restaurante en la Toscana rural eran iguales a cualquier cosa que hemos experimentado en Michelin - restaurantes con estrellas en todo el mundo. Muy recomendable.

20/04/2025: This was probably the best gelato I tried in Italy. The two ladies were nice and the kinder bueno gelato was amazing, really creamy and delicious. It’s served on top of a really crunchy and airy, kind of industrial cone that goes perfectly with the creamy gelato. Super recommended. They have a street sign that promotes the yogurt soft ice cream but I don’t think that’s their best product, after all if you’re in Italy the gelato is the way to go. I hope they get more stars soon, they deserve it.

Pass and stop in tranquility and relaxation in the middle of the green heart of the Romito which beats gently near a stupendous watercourse and immersed in a tiny and delightful clearing, where it is possible to stop briefly even with a camper. Contact the very kind managers with confidence, who will be able to welcome and advise you with discreet and safe hospitality. Even for those arriving from further away, the villages and the beautiful surrounding countryside are worthy of a visit and stops, goodbye everyone.

09/03/2025: I go there from time to time with my family, the place is always well kept and looked after, the service is fair and nice, always available to accommodate requests and take you in the right direction. Excellent food, pizza is a guarantee for me! Also recommended during the week, to avoid chaos and enjoy a more peaceful environment.

03/09/2024: I had the pleasure of spending a week in this farmhouse. Simple but wonderful farmhouse surrounded by greenery and animals. We had a wonderful week of relaxation and peace. Letizia and Debora made us fat properly with their delicious recipes, impeccable service, it felt like being at home with the family, I recommend it to everyone, I will be back :)

20/03/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questa pizzeria per caso un paio di anni fa e ogni tanto andiamo. Cecina molto buona, come anche le moltissime pizze da scegliere, calzoni e pane arabo. Digeribili e ben condite. Hanno anche i tordelli al ragu' ottimi. Vorrei potermi fermare quì, ma le ultime due/tre volte abbiamo avuto pizze parecchio cotte...in alcuni punti proprio bruciacchiate, l'ultima volta anche la cecina. Ho aspettato a recensire per capire se era stato un caso, invece è successo altre volte. Torneremo sperando si siano resi conto. Dimenticavo il cestino di pasta fillo con chantilly e frutta fresca buonissimo !!

25/12/2024: Came here after a 25 hr travel day. Small place but amazing pizza and food. House wine is fantastic. Wood fired pizzas. Dessert was delicious too. Amazing.

02/11/2024: We were guests in September 2024 with a large group, very hospitable and friendly staff, everything was arranged and organized. For us a big 10 for hospitality.

27/02/2025: Now a monthly habit. Excellent food, plentiful and seasoned. Normally we get 2 ounces of cake and a 5&5, we don't leave hungry, that's for sure. Nice place, fast and friendly service.
