18/06/2025: Very unfriendly staff, I stopped to have a rest and catch up on some emails and was asked to leave after 30 minutes even though the bar was half empty. The guests next to me were also told in a rude way that they couldn’t move seats even though there were a lot of free tables - if you want to feel welcomed please don’t visit here

21/04/2025: This was an amazing hotel and experience for our family. Traveling from the US, they made us feel like royalty. It was worth every penny to be cared for. They went above and beyond and even gave us personalized toiletry bags. The breakfast was great and everyone was so kind and helpful for our first trip to Italy!!

15/07/2025: Excellent restaurant with a nice seafood menu. In addition to the main dishes, they always have specials of the day; among the dishes on the menu, I highly recommend the octopus cooked in a wood-fired oven. The pizzas are also really good, and I'll definitely be back.

14/03/2025: Situato all'interno delle mura di questo carinissimo borgo, era un negozio di alumentari gestito dal signor Giovannino, è stato trasformato (con successo, direi) in un locale che offre uno splendido e azzeccato spaccato della cucina locale. Noi eravamo già stati un paio di anni prima e, visto il bel ricordo, abbiam voluto tornare : ne siamo stati appagati ! L' assortimento di salumi e formaggi di ottima qualità, 🧀🍖 i pici e la ribollita pure, 🍝 la fiorentina (l' abbiamo chiesta "contenuta" per non scoppiare, vista la generosità delle porzioni precedenti) molto tenera 🥩 e gustosa, anche se l' avremmo preferita più al sangue (a dire il vero i titolari si erano offerti di ritirarla e sostituirla ma lo avremmo considerato uno spreco). Il vino, della casa, ottimo ; il servizio, di questi veraci tifosi della Viola, molto caloroso e sumpatico. A noi piace così

15/06/2025: Albergo ristorante a pochi metri dalla piazza principale di San Marcello, da fuori niente fa capire che è aperto... Occorre aprire la porta perché anche le finestre sono chiuse e compare una grande sala ristorante. Menù piuttosto ampio, con i funghi che primeggiano: abbiamo provato tagliolini, polenta fritta e lasagne ai funghi. Piatti molto buoni in porzioni generose (soltanto le lasagne avevano troppa besciamella per i miei gusti). Valido anche il resto, per un conto onesto e un servizio piacevole e gentilissimo, di grande ospitalità.

01/06/2025: Historic hotel located in the center of San Marcello. Here we found kindness and hospitality. Simple rooms, but clean and practical. The restaurant is very good with quality products! And foods that maintain tradition. Ravioli ricotta and spinach TOP. The judgment is more than positive and shared by our child.

28/05/2025: Una experiencia fabulosa. Teníamos los vuelos de vino blanco y los platos de queso y prosciutto. Fue una experiencia muy especial. Muy recomendable si te gusta el vino. El queso y el prosciutto era excelente. Nos sentamos afuera y vimos el mundo pasar. El camarero estaba muy bien informado sobre los vinos y el servicio era excelente.

01/05/2025: Muy decepcionante. Habíamos cenado aquí antes y tuvimos una comida maravillosa. Esta noche no fue tan buena. La ensalada estaba bien, pero el plato principal de pasta con corazones de alcachofa / hojas era promedio en el mejor de los casos. Las hojas de alcachofa eran muy duras a pesar de estar cortadas en rodajas finas lo que contribuía a una textura desagradable al plato. La ensalada era buena pero nada súper especial.

The owner is an exquisite person and always ready to find accommodation at any time you called him. The high quality food and a very extensive menu but above all home-made. The modern, clean and sanitizing rooms. Air conditioning, super comfortable bed and large television with online app. What can I say, a fixed stop also for a coffee if I pass by Grosseto. 15/06/2025: We were here for lunch and ordered the daily special. One appetizer, one main course with a side dish, water, wine, and coffee. We were very full at the end with the delicious food. Thank you 😘 P.S.: It's also possible to order gluten-free, as was the case at the next table.
