Few frills, lots of substance, this is the essence of the restaurant which offers a complete menu at finally reasonable prices of good workmanship and quality, I highly recommend it.

The best trattoria in Follonica and the surrounding area. We've been going there for decades. Delicious traditional Tuscan food. The owners are friendly and helpful.

Osteria Bastarda Rossa

01/12/2025: Family outing, found this gem of an osteria. Excellent food, prompt and friendly service, warm and welcoming place, excellent value. I'd always go back, too bad we're not very close and we found it by accident!!! Thanks for everything.
23/11/2025: The food is good here. The place is welcoming. Given the name of the restaurant and the month we went, we expected to find chestnut-based dishes, but that wasn't the case.

16/10/2025: We found this place by accident while driving back from Sicily to Poland. We only stayed one night. It's a wonderful place. A true Tuscan atmosphere. For a moment, we even considered staying another day, but after a three-week vacation, homework called. I highly recommend it. It's a beautiful place, a wonderful restaurant, and the staff are incredibly friendly. It definitely exceeded our expectations. ❤️ Thank you for such a short stay. We left this morning. Kisses to the kitties.
11/10/2025: Simply excellent! We had a huge room at a reasonable price, everyone was friendly, our dog was welcome, and the food in the attached restaurant was good. The breakfast was also decent by Italian standards.
