Today we had lunch at Trattoria Da Galileo with the whole family and we were truly delighted!
We had the cacciucco, and I can say without exaggeration that it was truly exceptional: flavorful, well-made, rich, and cooked in true Livorno tradition. You could taste the quality of the fish and the care taken in its preparation, which is not at all a given.
But beyond the food, what really made the difference was the welcome. We immediately felt at home, with a level of attention and friendliness that is hard to find these days. The service was kind, smiling, and always present without being intrusive.
A place where you eat well, but above all, where you feel good. We'll definitely be back!

We returned to Trattoria Da Galileo, and once again it was a testament to our experience!
A truly enjoyable family lunch: welcoming atmosphere, warm and attentive service. They immediately make you feel at ease, as if you were a regular, even on your first visit.
The food speaks for itself: we had the cacciucco again, and it was spectacular, rich in flavor and prepared with great care. Generous portions, and the quality evident in every dish.
Places like this aren't easy to find: excellent cuisine and genuine hospitality make you want to return again. Highly recommended!

It was a wonderful experience shared with friends for lunch on a Sunday in April. The young owner proved to be an excellent, passionate, and knowledgeable host. A wonderful cacciucco.

A friend recommended this place. The first impression was very familiar, with many historic photos of famous people who've visited. This all speaks to the passion and tradition that still permeates this place.
We came specifically for the famous cacciucco, and I must say we weren't disappointed... quite the opposite... authentic flavor and a truly generous portion. I recommend one for two...
The girls at the tables were kind and friendly...
The only criticism I have is that the desserts weren't to my taste (zuppa inglese and tiramisu), but I consider that to be a personal preference.
For the price, I'd say it's fair.

The atmosphere is retro, exuding experience and passion. I went for lunch during one of my motorcycle rides. I only ordered cacciucco. Special!

An older restaurant, but for that very reason, it's very traditional. The caciucco was plentiful and delicious, and the tiramisu was truly authentic. I'd say it was a wonderful experience!

Typical Livorno trattoria, a bit overrated, a perfectly average lunch, nothing negative... but come on, appetizer, main course, and dessert for €62.00. We're not in Versilia. You get the idea.
