24/06/2025: Restaurant bar on Pratomagno at the foot of the peak where the famous Cross is located. Typical location, in wood with many outdoor seats. Fresh and quiet despite the many customers. Decent choice of dishes and intelligent choice to do 3/4 fixed menus. Kind and helpful staff. Highly recommended

22/06/2025: I ate yesterday (21/06/25) for lunch under the name Antonio da Cascina fixed menu appetizer 3 tastings of first course water a quarter of red wine... good price service, Carmen a guarantee even the new employees are joyful. Then a lot of hail meteorally speaking.

13/04/2025: A dream evening. I had booked through The Fork, thinking I would arrive at a “simple” restaurant. What a (very good) surprise we had arriving in front of such an establishment! A magnificent building, perfect reception service. Then we entered the restaurant. A unique setting, combining Renaissance and modernity, magnificent. Caring waiters, who will be able to guide you and advise you in the best possible way. A little word for Francesco, who accompanied us in the best possible way during this delicious meal. He will be able to advise you on excellent wines, and this, with excellent French! And what can we say about the dishes...a unique journey, a lot of emotions as we eat our forks! A talented young chef! In short, a magical evening.

14/05/2025: Mai 2025 - antipasta und dann Picci … ein Traum - mit familiären und sehr freundlicher Atmosphäre / vorrangig einheimische, die gute Stimmung zeigen! Preis - Leistung top - und der holzpizza Ofen immer gefüllt (trotzdem hat der Koch Zeit für Scherze) Alles Sehr zu empfehlen !!!

23/04/2025: Stasera sono tornato a cena al ristorante il pinolo, tutto buono dalla pizza al primo ,ma la sorpresa è stato il dolce ,una torta della nonna fatta in casa da leccarsi i baffi. Che dire,il personale cordiale e i prezzi modici fanno da cornice alla cena.il pinolo non delude mai

24/05/2025: Sweet, small cafe outside Siena. Happened upon it leaving the chaotic, lack of tourismo parking, Siena. Had a delicious pranzo and enjoyed conversing with the lovely lady running the ristorante.

11/05/2025: A greeting and a big thank you to the mother and daughters of this small but well-kept place for the excellent food, especially the spectacular crepes with the flavors of the lard and the freshness of the diced tomatoes which create a perfect combination. Thank you for your kindness and for the advice on how to serve the lard that we purchased in a certainly alternative way that you can only discover by going to the Tecchiaiolo and asking for their advice.....

13/06/2025: Historic pizzeria close to Porta San Vincenzo. All the pizzas are excellent prepared by the son of the historic owner Giovanni who still supervises everything 👍🏻.

21/06/2025: I was disappointed by the liver which was my favorite dish.. it was swimming in oil... let's hope it was just an accident. For the rest it is one of my favorites.. impeccable and fun service

03/07/2025: Great place to eat exquisite meat. I've never tried the first courses so I can't say but the tagliata with lardo di colonnata was sublime and also the fillet with porcini mushrooms was really very good. The wines are also good

19/06/2025: We have visited this restaurant several times now, and each time it is like coming home. The girls are extremely kind and available to explain each dish or bottle of wine. They have a wide choice of dishes: from classic appetizers to pasta dishes, from truffles to fine cuts of meat. A Florentine steak and a couple of glasses of red wine are a must on every trip, all under the expert advice of the staff. We have always left satisfied. During the summer season it is also possible to eat outside.

21/06/2025: A special place! Beautiful views, very comfortable rooms, fantastic food and a great cooking class. Definitely would go back again!

06/06/2025: Encontré este pequeño lugar por accidente. Muy “fuera del camino” en las colinas cerca de Montefollonico, pero que gran sorpresa! Gran comida, personal súper amable y vistas espectaculares a través de la campiña toscana. Vale la pena encontrarlo.

24/06/2025: Really disappointing I stopped by Pompi to buy a tiramisu on my way, hoping to enjoy it on the train — I had such good memories of it But the tiramisu was too old, and the staff was very unfriendly I’m never going back to Pompi😔
