06/06/2026: At the entrance to Ortigia, an excellent seafood restaurant. Excellent appetizers and good first courses. Well-stocked wine list, attentive staff. Prices are reasonable.

06/06/2026: After the show at the ancient theater, even though it was late, they greeted us with a smile. Both the tagliolini allo scoglio and the pasta with swordfish roe were excellent. The courtesy of the waiter Ezechiele did the rest! Recommended

19/07/2025: Pochi piatti ma cucinati con dovizia, ho riassaporato i sapori della nonna... Servizio sufficiente, la location lascia molto a desiderare, specialmente per la zona dove è situato il locale, sicuramente non turistica.

18/07/2025: Nos encontramos con este restaurante que está en Ortigia, justo al lado de las calles principales pero con vistas al mar. Fue realmente excelente. No turístico. Genuinamente bien cocinado y comida local súper fresca. Me comí el especial de pez espada y mi marido tenía el especial de atún que dijo que era la mejor melodía que había comido. Sobresaliente. Personal encantador y bien informado. Buen Inglés hablado.

02/10/2025: Absolutely gorgeous location in rural Sicily. This is a must for honeymooners and travelers. Food and beverages are offered here and the beach is just a short walk by the orchards. It was really nice disconnecting from the world for a few days here and it has a nice relaxing vibe here.

01/10/2025: Beautiful location; unfortunately, I didn't have hot water in the shower during my stay, and the toilet kept flushing, which made it difficult to sleep in this very quiet and wonderful location. Unfortunately, the staff didn't really take my comments seriously. The toilet was looked at immediately, but only repaired so that it would flush again the next time I flushed. When I pointed out the hot water, the staff member replied that I should just let the water run for 5 minutes. I let the water run for 20 minutes, and it didn't get hot. Only the sink had hot water. All in all, a wonderful place, but it didn't spoil my experience. In my opinion, that shouldn't happen at this price.

The entire (Modus Operandi) is undermined by the telephone reservation system... and by the organization that exists, especially BEHIND THE CASH REGISTER! Perhaps, after so many years... the time has come to give this department a makeover!!!!!

09/06/2026: Tourist trap, it used to be good but now it's a granita cafe for €7.50. As a Sicilian, I've never had such a bad granita.

05/04/2026: We found this place by accident at lunch today. Amazing food. We both had the pasta with prawns, tomatoes and pistachios. Very reasonable considering the location and quality of food. The place is also super clean (restaurant area, kitchen and loos). We both found it unpretentious and welcoming. The waiter did his best to help us in English. Would definitely recommend it even at first glance it does not look anything special it’s a really good experience.

04/01/2026: During our vacation in Sicily, we discovered this delightful restaurant-bistro on the Avola waterfront. The dishes are excellent, thanks to the fresh fish and top-quality ingredients selected by the charming chef Filippo. We had the opportunity to sample a variety of dishes, from appetizers to desserts, as we returned twice more after our first dinner. Excellent value for money.

12/06/2026: We have been at Samoa Club for dinner on a Sunday evening. The location is nice with a view over the water, but the word club should have rung some bells because until 21:30 there was disco music played on a high level. To order was hard but understandable due to the large amount of people being there. The food was good - we ordered pizza. Unfortunately the bill was spiced with some drinks which we neither ordered or had - even here understandable with so many people, but an excuse would have been nice.

12/06/2026: A great atmosphere, very delicious and unusual food. The pizzas in particular have fantastic toppings and some have a very tasty crust (very thick with lots of delicious dough – it's a matter of taste, but we thought it was great). And very friendly service. Highly recommended.

17/05/2026: DO NOT EAT HERE. It's an unprecedented scam. I can't believe such a shoddy place, created specifically for tourists with no restaurant experience, could have positive reviews. We paid €43.50 each to starve to death. We ordered a skewer of "about 300 grams," which roughly amounted to 100 grams. I asked for it to be medium-rare, and they brought it to me raw. Three portions of fries cost €30, which is saying something. It's a disgrace; the man who appeared to be the owner didn't even acknowledge my criticism, concluding with a vulgar "I don't want customers like you," thinking he was dealing with just a few naive people who had never dined out. A businessman and speculator of the worst kind.

14/05/2026: Very nice restaurant with a nice atmosphere. The staff were great. The start was pretty good, the skewers were cooked correctly even though the portion was a tad small. The food is expensive and the meat provided was not cooked as it should have been. Was a tad dissappointed as the meat was 90euro for 2....

29/04/2026: A modern hotel equipped with everything you need for a pleasant and relaxing stay. Clean rooms with all the necessary amenities, featuring a modern and efficient design. The adjacent café and pastry shop offers a delicious breakfast. The last important factor is the helpfulness of the hotel staff: attentive to the guests' needs and very courteous. A special thanks to Christian and his sister for their kindness and support during my stay. I will return soon, this time to visit the wonders surrounding Augusta.

21/12/2025: The waitress sat me down and stared at me while we read the menu. I ordered a peppered mussel dish and a quarter of red wine. The mussels (15 count, two of which were inedible and one closed) arrived after 15 minutes, and the wine was too cold and sour. I paid €17, including a €2 blanket (€2 to wash a plate and a fork?). I WON'T RETURN!!! Not even worth a star. Only the bread was delicious.

31/05/2026: The evening was ruined by two problems. The less serious one was the very long wait between the appetizer (which was good) and the main course, which never arrived. After 45 minutes, we left. The second, more serious, problem was the rudeness with which they responded to our complaints. "Go to McDonald's..." Is this how you treat customers who want to spend an evening? Where's the professionalism? The number of occupied tables cannot be an excuse for inadequate service. The rudeness also shows that they're doing the wrong thing.
