Chickpeas, lentils and tongue, three dishes you wouldn't have imagined ordering, not in December and not in Sortino. Very decent portions and impeccable quality, certainly thanks to the secret ingredients produced by the lady. I say one, "love", a name with which he will often address his guests. Between a spoonful and a trip to the Sicilian fields of the 1930s, you find yourself with oranges on the table and a subliminal invitation to eat more dried fruit, nuts specifically. The house red wine shatters every barrier and when asking for desserts you are made fun of and then honored with pastries and chocolates. E' vero che il locale non è niente di che, ma le pietanze e il modo di fare della signora Lina sono eccezionali. Cibo della tradizione, cucinato come un tempo. Sapori genuini per una tipicità che non è più facile trovare nei vari ristoranti o trattorie. E poi il conto è stato davvero onesto. Rapporto qualità/prezzo molto alto. La signora Lina bisogna saperla capire e per chi ci riesce è davvero uno spasso! Consigliato a chi non guarda alla forma ma alla sostanza.

Oltre i parti che rispettano la tipicità delle trattorie un punteggio a parte va ai proprietari, che con la loro datata età ed esperienza sanno trattare i clienti in modo particolarmente esclusivo anch'esso tipico della trattoria. Da provare... consiglio vivamente
