10/06/2026: Beautiful inside, this restaurant offers a high end experience, white cloth tables, good menu choices. We came in around 9pm on a Tuesday, got a nice table, a warm welcome and a high quality meal. We had pork cheeks and raw seafood plate, both were great.

03/04/2026: Dissatisfaction. Even if you sit inside a cafe, they give you a dessert on a piece of paper and damage it, coffee in a paper cup like at a street stall. Other guests at the next tables had coffee and tea in porcelain cups and desserts on a tray. They were given a spoon, not just a wooden stirrer. Unfortunately, the coffee was cold.

22/03/2026: Dear factory owners, we didn't wait too long for the table, while I must say that the wait for the delivery of pizzas and sandwiches was a bit excessive but I must say that it was compensated by the more than acceptable quality of the dishes served, overall the experience was acceptable but I strongly recommend repairing the door as it makes an unpleasant noise when closing and opening

02/04/2026: We visited this restaurant while staying at a resort down the street and wanted to try something a little different, I’m so glad we did. From the moment we arrived, this family owned spot made us feel incredibly welcome and guided us with great recommendations. I ordered the spaghetti with scampi, and it was truly some of the best pasta I’ve had in the two weeks we’ve been traveling through Italy. My husband had the seafood spaghetti, which was just as impressive, light, fresh, and perfectly balanced with a citrus garlic sauce. Thank you for the warm hospitality and an unforgettable meal. We’ll absolutely be recommending this place to others visiting the area.

15/05/2026: Antonello da Messina towers above all the rest, but it's a shame it's in such poor condition. I couldn't tell from the panels what great calamities it endured; it would be interesting...between the missing parts and the copious replacements, very little remains. The Angel's nose was badly restored; perhaps such a fundamental detail could have been given more consideration. Instead, the palace was greatly restored, the atmosphere intimate, and there was time to observe some interesting details.

25/04/2026: Even though it was a holiday, it closed at 12:30. It's a shame, especially since there were so many people around.

10/05/2026: I attended my niece's birthday/baptism party last night. Everything was perfect, from the welcome, to the impeccable service, to the fantastic food, and the wonderful location inside the beautiful Umberto I pizza place in Avola. It was my first time here, but I will definitely be back.

05/03/2026: The location is great, but the rooms are awful... The bed was so hard it was impossible to sleep, and instead of a duvet, there was a sheet and a blanket thrown over it, which was completely unhygienic... The bathroom was large, but the shower was tiny - washing feet was impossible even for people of normal build like us... The water heater was tiny, so a shower for two people was out of the question - unless the woman decided not to wash her hair... The tiny window had bars like a dungeon... The hotel has potential because it's located in a beautiful place, but the interior was decorated terribly... Old Ikea furniture... Breakfast was a pleasant surprise compared to the rest of the stay... it was really good. The hotel photos on Booking.com don't reflect the actual conditions... I don't recommend it.

02/01/2026: Just checked out of Palazzo Landolina, we had a great stay. Rooms very clean, location fantastic, just across the road from Caffe Sicilia. The breakfast was amazing! Special thanks to Monica, Anna and Daniela!

25/10/2025: Food is rather expensive. This is not a place to feed yourself. But for spending some time talking with a bottle of wine. Wine is exceptionally good.

03/10/2025: We had a wonderful evening. The enoteca is located in a beautiful courtyard just 50 meters from the main street. Besides the delicious food, of course, we were delighted by the waiter's hospitality and warmth, which truly made the evening special. He was a master of his craft. It will be a memorable evening.

11/01/2026: Sicilian cuisine with influences, revisited in a creative and surprising way, with carefully crafted and never boring dishes. We had the dining room all to ourselves, an added bonus that made the experience even more intimate and enjoyable. The chef guided us through the dinner, explaining each course with great clarity, demonstrating passion and expertise, as well as genuine friendliness. At the end of the evening, we stayed for a very informal chat, and he even offered us a taste of a truly excellent local gin. A unique, welcoming experience, and highly recommended.

06/06/2026: At the entrance to Ortigia, an excellent seafood restaurant. Excellent appetizers and good first courses. Well-stocked wine list, attentive staff. Prices are reasonable.

06/06/2026: After the show at the ancient theater, even though it was late, they greeted us with a smile. Both the tagliolini allo scoglio and the pasta with swordfish roe were excellent. The courtesy of the waiter Ezechiele did the rest! Recommended
