Landolina Et Modica Aperitives In Noto

Fantastic old palazzo in the middle of the Centro Storico with first-class service and an expert guide through the original first floor, which is worth seeing!

…another beautiful palace in Noto!!…it's Palazzo Landolina!!…it was the summer residence of one of the richest families in the city!!…I'll start by saying that I only saw it from the outside!!…but it is said that at inside there are numerous rooms!!...and there are splendid frescoes and beautiful paintings from the eighteenth and nineteenth centuries!!...it is a UNESCO World Heritage Site!!...the building is located right near the Cathedral of Noto !!…it is also said that King Ferdinand II of Bourbon and Queen Maria Teresa of Austria stayed three times at Palazzo Landolina!!…right in front of this Palazzo Landolina…there is also the square which bears its own name!!…and here you can also see the Monument to the Fallen of the First World War!!…there was also the statue of Ferdinand II but it was destroyed with the revolutionary clashes of the times!!…

Hotel located in the historic heart of Noto, overlooking much of the center and easily reachable by car. Welcoming and courteous staff. Average prices given the central location.

It's a stay in an ancient building, next to the cathedral (even too close, given that the bell tower and its bells were 20 meters from my room). Low costs and very large rooms. However, the standard of the rooms is not 4 star (at least not to the international standard): in my room there was a water heater for hot water!! If 2 or more of us had occupied it it would have been a big problem. Humidity in my room (also kept clean). Breakfast service good and 'family style'.in general if there were more staff around it would be better. Definitely low costs

This was my first time in Noto and how lucky I got by randomly picking this gem of a place in the heart of Noto right next door to the SN Cathedral. Firstly, the staff are the nicest, most polite people and incredibly helpful professionals. Secondly, the rooms are spacious, ultra clean and quiet with the exception of the absolutely magical sound of the bell from the Cathedral right next door. Truly one of the most amazing experiences that I can not wait to revisit asap! Landolina, you are in my heart! Thank you and see you soon💌 Grazie tante! Henri RW, NYC
