10/10/2024: Very nice, idyllic, relaxed accommodation in the middle of the mountains. It's a great place to switch off. And the hosts are always there and absolutely accommodating. The food was always very tasty! So you can have a good time. Thank you for the lovely days

22/01/2025: We stayed there for 3 nights. Wonderful family. Excellent service. Delicious meals. Excellent people. Nice to stay there after a day of traveling. Very helpful and respectful of the guests. They came to wish us a happy birthday even though we didn't say anything. (According to the passport) We really enjoyed it. Thank you very much.

25/09/2024: We spent 3 nights there to travel in the area, it was very pleasant, a relaxing and quiet green place, personal and loving treatment, a nice welcome. Breakfasts are very good, we also had dinners there for an additional fee at a good price, and it was very tasty. We felt like we were part of your family. Thank you very much.

16/03/2025: Pizzeria recommended by friends, it met expectations with flying colors. Very nice and welcoming place, with live music in the background. Pizzas with refined ingredients and unexpected combinations. The only downside was the long wait. Recommended.

08/03/2025: Locale carino nel suo contesto, antipasti fritti & pizza ottima…siamo venuti un sabato sera e sinceramente non verremo piu’ ( un vero peccato), musica dal vivo pianista assordante e attesa piu’ di un ora e mezza per le pizza…mi dispiace na non verremo piu’ …!!!! Un consiglio al locale date priorita’ ai clienti in sala e non alle pizze da asporto…

28/12/2024: 110 cum laude restaurant. It will be the fifth time I've come, the first in winter, and I know I'll always go without fail. Very nice place, well furnished and with a nice open kitchen, which I find really tasteful. Very courteous, friendly and professional staff. Excellent food. Starting from the bread basket, with an excellent focaccia and a delicious crunchy crust with seeds and cereals. I only take the 5-course tasting menu, a gastronomic journey (always different or in any case revised) of the highest level. This time they served us a delicious savory cappuccino with potato and wasabi foam, spirulina powder and raw prawn at the bottom, served with a homemade cereal croissant. Then a roasted octopus tentacle cooked to perfection with pumpkin cream and basil sauce and cocoa nibs (brilliant idea because the bitterness of the cocoa gave the dish an indescribable strength). The first was cacio e pepe with homemade rigatoni (and you could taste the difference) with seared prawn, super. For second, a very soft slice of red snapper with seared skin (I suspect it has been caramelised, an aspect which I still appreciated) with a full-bodied wakame seaweed and a chickpea cream. Since there were two of us, the desserts were different. The first is a mix of a gianduja pudding with salted caramel, vanilla ice cream and mint, the second is a sweet pastry (like chiacchiere) with sweet ricotta, strawberries and candied orange. Super recommended!

18/02/2025: wowwww....so I was returning to the village on the Nebrodi, from the Brolo junction after the toll booth on the left there is the Norceria, whoever is hungry follow me yesss.... excellent meat, excellent service... try it

09/02/2025: The locals know about this excellent eatery/delicatessen/liquor store but if you're a traveller or a tourist you should definitely pop in. The staff have been friendly and helpful to us. The produce and meals are excellent and the choice of beverages is top class. Beware though, the service is typically Italian, and particularly Sicilian, so be patient as it pays off. Today we ate a takeaway (known as "d'asporto") for lunch and it was as expected - excellent.

03/10/2024: Really, really quiet place: atmosphere of peace, relaxation and serenity... time slows down here and eating in front of this wonderful sea is fabulous. All the staff were really nice and very kind, very attentive and courteous.. We ate an excellent mussel pepper And the octopus salad with Tropea onions, then a first course with a mouth-watering sauce! The coffee was super! Nowadays even drinking a good coffee is rare... The tables are not placed too close to each other, so you have a feeling of relaxation and freedom even while eating... the spaces are large and you are very comfortable Prices are great for the good food offered Thanks so much to all the staff! ❤️

09/02/2025: Siamo stati veramente bene locale caldo e accogliente personale educato e simpatico abbiamo cenato con le pizze che sono enormi e molto condite per i miei gusti troppo condite di formaggio (mozzarella) che sovrastava gli altri condimenti per il resto tutto bene il conto nella norma

18/03/2025: I did not stay here but went to the rooftop bar. The view is amazing. Drinks and snacks were excellent. Being in Taormina while the evenings are still cool, this is the spot for an indoor aperitivo.

08/03/2025: Well-run hotel, very friendly staff. Valet parking worked excellently. Our room, 335, was an ideal size with a view of the sea and Mount Etna. Breakfast on the 6th floor was perfect, with attentive service. Major drawback: A terrible musty smell in the newly renovated bathroom. The hotel couldn't remedy the situation. The only storage space is the vanity, which is lined with spare rolls of toilet paper. The hairdryer hangs in a cloth bag on the towel radiator. The mirror is disadvantageous compared to the window. There is no makeup mirror. The bathroom window had to be left open at all times, otherwise the stench would have been unbearable. This made the room cold in the first week of March. The bathroom was therefore spartan. Therefore, one point deducted. We were annoyed for giving it 5 points!

09/02/2025: I have been to this place several times, including the restaurant on the first floor. On the ground floor there is a take-away gastronomy service and tables where you can eat on site. The restaurant is on the first floor. Attached to the place is the butcher's shop owned by the same owners. The food offered is excellent. Many varieties of choice and above all I appreciate the meat that comes from their farms. The place is a fairly large and spartan deli as it should be for a takeaway place. Friendly and helpful staff. Excellent value for money. Generous portions. Advised.

23/02/2025: We have frequented La Forchetta del Castello several times over the years, always on weekdays, and we have always appreciated the generous portions, the excellent quality of the food and the attentive and helpful service. Unfortunately, today's experience, a Sunday, was not up to the previous ones. While on the one hand a little more chaos on public holidays is understandable, on the other hand we did not expect such a clear drop in service. The portions were smaller than usual (although still within the norm) and the quality of the food remained excellent, but the real problem was the very poor service. There were only inexperienced kids in the room, visibly confused among the tables, making the experience less pleasant than usual. In summary, La Forchetta del Castello remains a quality restaurant, but the management of service on the busiest days should be improved to maintain the standard that has always convinced us. We hope it was just an episode and that we will rediscover the excellence we knew in future visits.

27/01/2025: I returned after many years to eat in this place, I admit that they never disappoint, excellent cuisine handed down by Mr. Mario to the new staff, excellent service, and what can I say. After a good Sunday lunch, ending with a pleasant walk to the castle of Santa Lucia del Mela with a view of the Gulf of Milazzo and the Aeolian Islands... I will return to taste their cuisine and spend another beautiful day in company. Thanks see you next time!!! I recommend it to everyone
