11/08/2024: The Daino farmhouse is a special place to spend quality time in contact with nature. The place is really large and well looked after. Immense spaces where you can walk, with the possibility of seeing many animals up close. Excellent and plentiful cuisine. And last but not least, young, attentive, kind and polite staff. In short, hard workers. I recommend it to anyone who wants to relax and feel like family!

06/08/2024: **Beware!!!!!** We had 3 dishes (€14, €16, and €17) and two bottles of water (€12), totaling €59. When I went to pay, the older lady with short light brown hair behind the cash register didn't present a check and tried to charge me €100. When I objected, she changed it to €90. After a fuss and using Google Translate to explain to the waiter, who spoke to her in Italian, the price changed again to €65. This place rips off tourists—do not go here unless you want your wallet lighter!

14/08/2024: An excellent dinner with typical Nebrodi dishes and truly excellent local products. We started with an appetizer, which included about ten different courses, and then continued with some really good roast lamb, well cooked and of excellent quality. To conclude, amaro and granita are offered, together with hazelnut biscuits. Bill: €52 for two. I recommend taking starters and then evaluating how to continue, we actually chose to share a portion of second course between two. Friendly staff, large spaces, certainly not an "intimate" place, but genuine and popular. Try it!

13/08/2024: Booked a month ago, starters and first courses all ok, too bad that when two mixed grills were supposed to arrive, a good 40 minutes passed. Nobody warned us what was happening and why there was a delay. Behind us, a table of 4 people who, during the 40 minutes of our delay, sat down, ordered dinner, were served drinks and 4 mixed grills when there was still no sign of us. We ask a waiter for explanations and he tells us that there has been a mix-up: our grills were served at the tables of the last 4. We ask how much longer it will take since it was already getting late, he replies within minutes. Another 10 minutes pass and still nothing. We ask for explanations and are also told with a slightly annoyed look that it takes time to cook the meat if we still wanted it, otherwise it could have blocked the whole thing. We wait some more and a small tray is 'thrown' on the table with two pieces of sausage, a roll and some pieces of brisket full of sinews. Not even a piece of pork, which should have been there. Zero customer attention and care. Nothing was discounted from the bill, much less was there anyone who tried to solve the problem. Total disappointment, we will never go back 👎🏼

30/04/2024: Ich bin jedes Jahr in der Nähe von Piraino in Sizilien. Seit es La Pineta gibt bin ich dort Stammgast. Sehr gutes, schmackhaftes Essen mit frischen Produkten. Ausgezeichnete Qualität. Freundliche, aufmerksame Bedienung mit Beratung für das Essen. Ich fühle mich einfach dort zu Hause und willkommen. Für mich gibt es zum Restaurant kaum eine Alternative in Gioiosa Marea.

08/04/2024: È stata una piacevole sorpresa mangiare in modo impeccabile, non avendo prenotato tanto tempo prima il giorno di Pasqua. I primi fatti con cura, pasta al dente e condimento gradevole, i secondi strepitosi. Buona accoglienza e simpatia. Lo consiglio perché lo chef è davvero meritevole. L&D

14/08/2024: But how well do you eat at Non solo pizza!!! Very nice atmosphere, excellent quality of food and lots and lots of courtesy. We didn't eat pizza, but we opted for first courses (excellent and plentiful), a platter with local cured meats and cheeses and a very good caponata. We will definitely return to try the pizzas. Highly recommended!

13/08/2024: The piźza is not bad but the interior is very poorly soundproofed, it's unbearable with all the people talking very loudly! The waiters are very friendly but to pay 2.5€ coperto per person is very expensive! Too bad, it doesn't invite you to come back...

25/08/2024: Focaccia cooked in a wood oven, a nice novelty. Really friendly waiters and, above all, very good and quick. Embarrassing value for money for the average in Italy (I was moved when I saw the Margherita at €4.50). I would like to underline that the low prices do not detract from the quality of everything you order.

Struttura bellissima e pulitissima,carne eccezionale a prezzi economici se paragonati alla qualità, servizio impeccabile. 05/08/2024: If you want to enjoy authentic Sicilian flavors with FRESH local products then you must try the bottega dei due monti!! We went there for a quick dinner, and we were very satisfied: we took two grilled sandwiches, with excellent quality bread and first choice ingredients! Cold cuts, cheeses, jams, creams, cherry tomatoes, mushrooms and many other very fresh and delicious products. We waited very little even though it was very busy and we paid VERY LITTLE. Furthermore there is the possibility to sit both inside and outside and to buy some of the local products they use for their sandwiches! Highly recommended

25/07/2024: Excellent cured meats and cheeses. Local products of own production. Nebrodi black pig cured meats. Disproportionate variety of products. They prepare sandwiches (soft or homemade) both as per the menu and to the customer's taste. As an alternative to sandwiches, there is the possibility of sitting at the (few) tables and enjoying wonderful platters of cured meats, cheeses and products in oil. The management is family-run. Husband, wife and son have always been friendly and helpful (we have been going there for 25 years). Just entering the rustic restaurant makes your mouth water, because of all the cured meats and cheeses that are hanging. Then you approach the counter and get lost among the varieties of these delicacies. The sandwiches are cheap. Cutting boards cost a little more. But you pay for quality. They are not the products found in traditional delicatessens or shopping centers. These are 0 km products with indescribable goodness. Seeing is believing.
