03/10/2025: Shame Shame Shame Run away from this fake resort. They say it's a Lipari resort, but it's actually on Vulcano. Thank goodness my stubbornness made me do some research the day before. I got my money back from eDream because I was right. Fake

24/08/2025: It's a 4-star resort, but only potentially. It feels like an unfinished structure. There's no shuttle to take you from the port. The rooms are nice, although the fixtures and fittings could use a makeover. There's also little privacy. Breakfast is excellent.

19/05/2026: Gate open, sign illuminated, but only a big white quite aggressive dog was approaching. At least fix the dog when closed. Terrible experience!

02/01/2026: Very good pizza, friendly and fast staff. Very welcoming place, shame about the bathroom off the dining room.

15/05/2026: The prawn cocktail unfortunately consisted of only six (and not at all tasty, given the name) party prawns, placed on a bed of iceberg lettuce and drowned in ready-made cocktail sauce. We could have bought them ourselves at the local ARD (German public broadcasting center). Disappointing for €15. However, it's a perfectly pleasant place to sit and drink wine.

10/05/2026: A tourist trap. Poor food, run-down venue, sky-high prices, unjustifiably above average. The only redeeming features are the sea view and the friendly staff.

01/07/2026: Excellent food, excellent staff, but the karaoke on Tuesday nights is really annoying for those who live in the area because of the excessively loud music...tonight it was past midnight...on Wednesdays we work....

12/06/2026: After getting off the ferry in our campervan in the evening to continue on the highway, we stopped at this pizzeria to order two Caprice pizzas to go for dinner. After eating them, we were satisfied because, besides being huge, they were truly excellent and delicious. We'll stop by again next time. Recommended.

09/07/2026: After visiting Taormina mid-morning and spending the afternoon in Isola Bella, we decided on the way back to the car to visit Taormina again to have their famous cannoli at Pasticceria Roberto and then have a drink before returning to Catania. There were so many people, and the restaurants and bars were packed. We were about to leave without ordering anything, but then we stumbled upon this place that surprisingly had very few people. There were four adults and two children. We went in, sat down at some tables, and after a while, the waiter came. One of the children had gone to the bathroom, and I took advantage of the opportunity and went just as the waiter arrived. When I came out of the bathroom, I saw the waiter talking to the others, and when I started telling him what we wanted to order—an Aperol Spritz, some beers, water, a Coke—the waiter gave us the dinner menu. We told him we weren't going to have dinner, just drinks. He replied that he couldn't serve us what we were ordering because, since it was dinner time, you either eat or have a drink, but it all had to be cocktails. We responded that we wouldn't order anything then, basically because... There were two children, and I don't drink alcohol... and we were leaving... to which the waiter replied that two of us had used the restroom, wasting water and toilet paper, and that he had to charge us... we were stunned, but we still asked how much we had to pay... and he said €5... I've never in my life had it cost me so much to relieve myself... we paid the €5 and left... NO WONDER THE PLACE WAS ALMOST EMPTY WHEN ALL THE OTHERS WERE PACKED... it's the first time in my life that someone in a bar has told me what to drink... oh... and another thing... the waiter implied that we came in to go straight to the bathroom and intended to leave... which isn't true... at least not in our case... if we only wanted to use the restroom, we would have gone to the cable car restrooms, which are a 5-minute walk away and on our way to the parking lot where we had the car.

10/08/2026: Absolutely avoidable, unnecessarily expensive, the quality doesn't justify the price, but the biggest problem is the extremely rude staff, especially the young woman with short hair from the north, perhaps Tuscan, just to give an example. I ask for a bottle of sparkling water and she brings it naturally. Realizing her mistake, she claims she obviously won't come back for a change anymore, so I get up and change it myself. The lady didn't deserve much consideration, especially since this is just one of many instances of rudeness justified by too much work in a place that isn't busy. Absolutely avoid. You'll feel like you're disturbing me.

09/08/2026: The restaurant is in a beautiful location, the wait staff is kind and helpful, but it was very expensive, and above all, we spent much more than we should have. The receipt doesn't tell us anything, but when we asked for an explanation, we weren't given an adequate answer. It's a shame because I would have liked to return, but I'll look elsewhere.

14/08/2026: We ordered a lot of rotisserie for the evening, the guys were very punctual and the food was excellent quality, arrived hot and crispy! I recommend it to anyone who wants to spend an evening with friends without having to cook, there were 10 of us and we made a great impression! I absolutely recommend it!!!!!!

19/07/2026: Unfortunately, my experience was very negative. Before purchasing an arancini with ragù, I specifically asked if it was warm. The clerk assured me it was, so I took it without hesitation. After the first two bites, however, I realized that the inside was completely frozen: the mozzarella was still in frozen cubes, and the ragù was very cold. Only the outer layer was warm. I understand that products can be prepared in advance or frozen, but what's important is that they are properly reheated before sale. Serving a product with the center still frozen is unacceptable and demonstrates a serious lack of attention to cooking supervision. Beyond the disappointment with quality, such a situation can also lead to food safety issues if the product is not brought to the proper temperature. I hope greater attention is paid, because an episode like this should never happen.

15/03/2026: Delicious pasta and a very pleasant atmosphere. The dishes were fresh, well-prepared, and you could tell they used quality ingredients. The service was friendly and helpful. I definitely recommend this place.

15/05/2026: Unfriendly staff. After paying and asking for my order, I also asked for a small plate for my croissant, since I intended to sit at the table. I was arrogantly told that "croissants are eaten with your hands" and therefore I wouldn't need one. Only later, perhaps noticing my annoyance, was the small plate given to me, claiming it was a "joke," but the attitude still seemed unprofessional and unpleasant. Furthermore, the croissant wasn't that great.

12/07/2026: An ideal place to enjoy a meal after the beach, well-maintained. The staff is super friendly, especially the girl named Miriam. Excellent food, light, tasty, and easy to digest. Approved!!

30/05/2026: Excellent horse meat sandwich 🐎, flavorful, well-prepared, and made with quality ingredients. The veal and chicken skewers were also fabulous, cooked to perfection and truly delicious. Everything was exceptional, from the quality of the food to the care taken in preparing the dishes. The option of seating both inside and outside was also greatly appreciated, in a welcoming, clean, and well-organized environment. Despite its location in the heart of the city, the prices are absolutely fair and competitive; honestly, I expected to spend much more. Special praise goes to all the staff: always smiling, kind, helpful, and attentive to customer needs. It's rare to find such friendly and professional staff, capable of making everyone feel welcome and at ease. Their passion for their work is evident in every detail and contributes to making the experience even more enjoyable. My sincere compliments to the entire team for their commitment, courtesy, and excellent service. It's one of those places you'll want to return to, both for the excellent food and the positive atmosphere. It'll definitely become one of my regular stops, and I can't wait to return more often. Well done, keep it up!

05/05/2026: Pizzeria, sandwich shop, and burger joint in the center of Messina, next to the cathedral. Eat in, on the terrace, or get takeout. We tried their famous Sicilian sandwiches. Every Italian was eating a hot one, but you're better off sticking with the pizzas.
