17/10/2025: Do you know what "shrinkflation" is? Essentially, it's when the price of a product is kept the same but the quantity is reduced. These rustici cost €1.50 and would once have been called mini-sized... now, however, they're the "normal" size. Very good, yes, but small and therefore expensive. P.S. I understand the answer, but in that case, there are two options: everyone else uses much lower-quality raw materials, or they have a lower profit margin. (The truth probably lies somewhere in the middle.)

16/05/2026: The first place to go for breakfast if you arrive early, for example, from the Naples ferry at 6:30 am. Two cappuccinos, which were only lukewarm, and a pizza croissant 👌 - €8.50, not bad. The service was a bit slow, but the waitress was really busy, as several ferry passengers were ordering their breakfasts there. You won't find a menu with prices, though 🫤. Views of the sea, harbor, and hillside, and right next to the road.

29/06/2026: a terrible experience!!! I arrive at 7:00 pm (with the bar empty!) and I ask them if we can have some toast in 10 minutes for two little girls because we had the hydrofoil and they tell us that there are no problems, at 7:15 pm we start to ask (the hydrofoil left at 7:30 pm), at 7:20 pm we ask again and (not noticing my husband) they say - verbatim - "this guy is breaking our balls today" a completely inappropriate language, they deliver the toast to us only at 7:25 pm to take away obviously and delivered in a scandalous way (my 10 year old daughter knows better how to prepare a simple cheese toast!), another very sore point was the manager's response to my request, I'm celiac what flavor of ice cream can I have? none!!! they are all contaminated, without courtesy/tactlessness and above all without offering me any alternative, I definitely won't go back again! I advise you to equip yourself with "kindness" the same things if handled with kindness could change everything

07/10/2025: The best bar in Barcelona, ​​without a doubt!!!!! All their pastries are fresh, the ice cream is top-notch, and they always make sure the coffee is perfectly prepared. Plus, the service was the best I've ever received in all of Italy!! I would definitely return to Barcelona to visit Vintage Bar!! Thank you!

31/05/2026: Great atmosphere. Hands down the best best pistachio gelato I have had in Italy! Makes you realise how poor some others are. Friendly staff. 5 small Cups of gelato and two take away Aperol spritz, €22.50. Def stop here if passing

10/06/2026: I enter politely, without looking at the price. I'm sitting right at the entrance and no one comes to serve me, so I get up and go to the counter. The waiter is eating and laughing; I wait patiently and calmly tell him it's okay if he's eating something. He prepares me a spritz, brings it to the table himself, drinks it, and gets up to pay—and he continues eating and laughing in my face. As a polite customer, who has paid and essentially served himself, I ask what's so funny. He responds: "I always laugh." A place that leaves customers seated without a word, and staff that mistake service for a private moment, with an unprofessional attitude toward those who enter. The spritz was decent, but the welcome was not.

23/05/2026: Cozy place and really good pizza. And they have a paradise of ice cream to choose from.

11/10/2025: Maurizio was very kind and welcoming. The caponata was the best I've tasted in the Aeolian Islands, and the stuffed squid with sauce was wonderful! Thank you.

05/10/2025: For the owner alone this restaurant is worth a visit. Such a lovely and engaging man, who spoke Italian, English and German with us. The food is delicious and though on the pricier side, portion size and quality justify it. We had the best seafood noodles here. (Sadly I only have a photo of the empty shells)

02/04/2026: I've known Spadaro Bar all my life; it was number one for its rotisserie and ice cream. Unfortunately, it's no longer a mediocre rotisserie. The focaccia is the same. The staff behind the counter is always arguing. Extremely slow service; even with a reservation, I waited almost an hour. A total disappointment. A shame.
