20/11/2025: Welcoming place and professional and kind staff.... We had both aperitifs and desserts, the quality makes the difference.. high quality products.... I recommend it!

29/10/2025: Excellent pastry shop, good and tasty ice creams, I'm also satisfied with the good pastries accompanied by the delicious cakes, the friendliness of the staff makes it excellent, I loved the numerous croissants for their true goodness, for my excellent breakfast that accompanies me every morning. If you find yourself passing by Viale Annunziata, stop by and sit down to enjoy the excellent coffee with a good croissant, as well as taking home the delicious pastries.

20/03/2026: Huge disappointment! Sicilian cassata, the queen of our pastry shop, "demands" an almond paste coating. You can't serve cassata covered in green royal icing! Not only disappointing, but cloyingly sweet. The sugar is light, so it costs less than almond paste.

08/03/2026: I'm sorry I can't give a very flattering review of the mimosa cake, but in the cream, besides the Chantilly cream, there is a foreign presence, probably ricotta, which affects its lightness and the sponge cake, especially the outer pieces, is too dry.

01/01/2026: I beg you, take my advice. The people who cook have no idea how to make even a plate of spaghetti with clams. The quality of the ingredients is terrible. Plus, the prices are incredibly high. And the owner talks nonsense and makes fun of you: the Mazzara shrimp, which were actually huge and frozen solid, were actually frozen. The location is beautiful, but I highly recommend eating anywhere but this one. They're too bad.

For a piece of bread with provola cheese, today at the October stand in Floresta, they initially charged 4 euros and after a long wait, they demanded 5, taking advantage without restraint and without a receipt. The provola cheese melted inside the measly piece of bread looked like rubber. 🤮

08/09/2025: Great atmosphere, new furnishings, welcoming. Tasty, well-cooked food, generous portions, and excellent service. Very pleasant, polite, and friendly staff. The price is right!

08/01/2026: Dear [SICILY FOOD], I would like to file a formal complaint regarding what happened this evening at your restaurant. I went to your business with my daughter to eat. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with evident superficiality by the staff, who informed us that we could not sit in the dining room due to a lack of staff, requiring payment in advance as a condition for seating. Although we found this disrespectful to the customer, we accepted. Once we entered the dining room, we found the hygiene conditions unacceptable: the tables and floor were visibly dirty. For this reason, disgusted, we decided not to eat there and to take the food away. The situation further worsened when, during food preparation, while the focaccia was being cut, my daughter noticed a large cockroach on the counter. I immediately reported the incident to the staff on site. Despite the seriousness of the incident, I still paid and left the premises, but I consider what happened to be extremely serious from a hygiene and health perspective and from a customer-facing perspective. I would like to express my profound disappointment and inform you that, in light of this experience, I will not be returning to your establishment. I hope, however, that immediate measures will be taken to ensure adequate hygiene conditions and more respectful customer treatment. Kind regards,

03/12/2025: Nice place, although it could be better managed with a little imagination. It lacks a greater Sicilian touch. If you want to be original, you have to sell only Sicilian and local products and not other goods you find in supermarkets.

27/08/2025: Fresh, tasty, and freshly fried fish. Friendly staff, located on the main street of Canneto. The owner even gave us complimentary bruschetta to start. A lovely lunch on our first day in the Aeolian Islands.

14/02/2026: A €10 Spritz...in the little bar in the Torre Faro square. Need I say more? It seems truly offensive. And I don't want to be harsh on the judgement. THE OWNERS SHOULD SIMPLY BE ASHAMED.

06/11/2025: Two watered-down Aperol Spritzes and a plate of appetizers, both inadequate in quantity and variety, were also paid for. A lot of hype and not much action. Response: You doubt the veracity of my review, which is genuine. I doubt your qualification as a bartender because the Spritz was absolutely inadequate. And I paid for the appetizers anyway.

01/01/2026: New Year's Eve 2025/2026 dinner to forget. The food was awful, with disgusting flavors, overcooked pasta, and everything served cold on frozen plates. The service was equally disappointing; we never had 12 diners eat a single dish together. Before midnight, they served fruit, dessert, and lentils, the latter served in a single central dish from which each person had to scoop with their own spoon—unhygienic at all. Not to mention the restrooms were not adequate for the number of guests. All this for the modest sum of €120 per person to fast... a terrible experience and definitely not to be repeated!!!!

03/10/2025: Shame Shame Shame Run away from this fake resort. They say it's a Lipari resort, but it's actually on Vulcano. Thank goodness my stubbornness made me do some research the day before. I got my money back from eDream because I was right. Fake

24/08/2025: It's a 4-star resort, but only potentially. It feels like an unfinished structure. There's no shuttle to take you from the port. The rooms are nice, although the fixtures and fittings could use a makeover. There's also little privacy. Breakfast is excellent.
