11/08/2025: Historic pizzeria with a variety of doughs. Excellent main courses and fondues. Finish with an exceptional chocolate liqueur. Reasonable prices. I highly recommend it.

10/08/2025: I've been going there for many years, and honestly, the pizza is delicious. The cleanliness and friendliness of the staff are also remarkable.

04/11/2025: The place is nice, the people who work there know their job, they never make a mistake with an order, they are very quick with home delivery even when it is very crowded and even when they are there they are very fast, the food is not too expensive and is very good, I recommend it.

10/05/2026: Empty sandwiches, when the people of Messina start learning from the people of Catania, maybe things will get better. I went once and I won't be back. Update 2026, 2 years have passed, as a contrast. I came here because of friends, in 2 years it's gotten even worse!!! EMPTY sandwiches

10/03/2026: I went on Saturday night with my friends and the sandwiches were also good, after eating them all including me we had bad stomachs for several days, no one had eaten anything else during the evening and we all felt terrible afterwards 😡😡

18/01/2026: I returned to this pizzeria after a while, and I honestly found the behavior of the waitress who served us unacceptable (black hair and dark glasses). I swear I've never had such a bad experience. I KINDLY asked for a replacement glass because, even though I hadn't used it, it was dirty. The response was incredibly rude. Leaving that aside, I asked for a small change to the pizza: that the basil pesto be removed. Of course, they brought me a pizza with 3 kg of basil pesto on top, and it was loaded with salt, so I left it all. The fries were completely raw. I don't know what happened to this place because in the past years, I remember having always eaten very well... what a shame.

11/04/2026: Haben dort gehalten um ein Eis zu essen. In total, it was two scoops of ice cream, one cookie and one water. €10. We were very disappointed. Never again. We stopped there for an ice cream. In all, there were two ice cream cones, a biscuit and a bottle of water. 10 euros. We were very disappointed. Never again.

30/10/2025: We had the opportunity to have an exceptional breakfast: croissants and pecan braids, super good, impeccable service, recommended.

09/06/2026: House red wine from a Tetra Pak served ice-cold in juice glasses, the Maccheroni Norma were good, the service was unmotivated and grumpy, but the view of Naxos was fabulous. Each dish was €1 more expensive on the bill than on the menu, plus a €2.50 cover charge. Conclusion: Not recommended! There are many better restaurants in Castelmola!

27/05/2026: Stunning sea view, but the lack of customers should have been a red flag. The welcome was incredibly unpleasant, with cutlery practically thrown on the table. The pasta was good, but the mussels in the risotto were clearly not fresh. The service was deplorable, and the owners showed absolutely no friendliness. The final surprise was the bill: the tomato and mozzarella starter was €27. Clearly outrageous considering the small portion. In plain terms, this kind of restaurant is a rip-off! Absolutely avoid this place!!!

21/05/2026: 5 stars aren't enough, 10 out of 10 for your kindness! We stopped by while the place was still being prepared for opening, and even though it was closed, they let us eat with them, offering us salami, delicious spaghetti, and even dessert and coffee! How many people can take a cue from you; it was an experience we'll never forget! Thank you so much!

01/08/2025: Accueil et service catastrophiques. Personnel et responsable arrogants et irrespectueux, à la limite du tolérable . On nous a demandé 4x si on voulait le restaurant ou la pizzeria en sous sol . Le repas était bon , mais ce comportement gâche tout . Les tables avec vue sur la magnifique terrasse ne sont pas accessibles au commun des mortels. Je déconseille fortement ce restaurant .

30/07/2025: Visited Granduca in July 2025 on the anniversary of our wedding. Especially especially as we had our wedding meal here 22 years ago to the day. First issue was they couldn’t find our booking despite us going in a week earlier and booking our table. That was sorted and we were sat in a very nice seat overlooking the bay. Food was good, not brilliant but was okay. Service was shocking. So unfriendly, unwelcoming and downright snobby. We will not be returning.

19/08/2025: If I could give zero stars I would, the place itself is also beautiful on the seafront, as soon as we arrived we had to absorb the complaints of the waiter Emanuele, immediately afterwards the apparently kind but very authoritative owner shows up with the depressed waiter, we order two appetizers and two fried dishes, one thinks that being in Sicily and on the seafront the fish, regardless of the price, is of excellent quality and size, instead in my opinion they take the scraps to cook them as best as possible, then if we want to talk about the oil for frying they certainly haven't changed it since December 1st January, unfortunately, not knowing the place we were ripped off in everything even economically 80 € is stolen, forget it, stay away and have a loaf of bread with mortadella which is better

20/05/2026: We saw great prices and decided we'd give it a try. Cheaper isn't always better. The pizza tasted like it was frozen, and it probably was.

25/08/2025: Beautiful location, but rude, uninterested, and incompetent staff. It's impossible that in the middle of August there's no way to heat up a plate of roast potatoes, so we had to eat them cold. The restrooms are appalling, management definitely needs to be changed. The location has great potential, but it's not being fully exploited.
