The La Vela bar is large and very pleasant with a beautiful shaded terrace. Smiling, available and efficient staff, exquisite sweet and savory pastries. And above all, very affordable prices, which is rare on the island of Salina! We recommend. Easy to locate, 2 minutes walk from the port.

Our b&b gave us tickets to come here and the service was the best we've had at a cafe! Views, cafe, granita & brioche were all great! I'm surprised by these reviews, perhaps they made things change for the better? Or the locals are trying to keep it secret :) Either way, views of ocean while enjoying morning breakfast- highly recommend!
