19/04/2025: We had lunch in this restaurant while we were on a trip to Cape Milazzo and it was a pleasant discovery. The food was excellent, the view from the spectacular veranda, the table service done by Francesco was precise and punctual and finally the owner Pietro was very friendly. We will definitely be back.

28/06/2025: My humble experience: We arrived to eat together. First, they served one dish, and after almost an hour and a half, we decided to ask. And they still hadn't cooked the food. Terrible quality. The Milanese. Tiny. We decided to leave, angry. The order never arrived at our table, and the service was terrible from the Italians. For any Argentinian who wants to eat at this place. We don't recommend it. Not at all. 👌🏻

08/07/2025: A very positive experience. The beach is new, not too big, and well-kept. The sunsets over the Aeolian Islands are beautiful. We also had dinner there and can confirm that the pizza is very good, with very fast service. Excellent prices. We'll return when we're in the area.

05/07/2025: Simple and very summery location, cordiality already at the welcome and professionalism. We tasted excellent foods especially the fried pasta trio. Special mention to the bar man Ernesto who managed to favor me a mai thai like few times I have drunk it. Highly recommended.

22/05/2025: Sono stato a pranzo in questo ristorante con amici in occasione di un viaggio Palermo. Il ristorante ,una specie di cantina caratteristica ,tutto sommato tipica e accogliente . Viene servito un menù prestabilito con un ricco antipasto con prodotti buoni e a seguire una grigliata di carne. Prezzo fisso con acqua ,vino e amaro con biscottini probabilmente fatti in casa euro 25.00. Direte voi ottimo prezzo se non ci fosse il trucchetto della grigliata in quanto ti viene detto che per averla devi aspettare almeno mezz'ora,ancora tutto normale fin qui. Con i miei amici abbiamo optato per il no ed abbiamo chiesto il conto pari ad euro 125.00. Il problema arriva ora non abbiamo preso la grigliata ricordate e quindi abbiamo pagato 25 euro solo un antipasto giusto. Alla mia richiesta di spiegazioni su come mai avessimo pagato 25 euro senza grigliata ,la ragazza tra l altro anche simpatica inizia ad arrampicarsi sugli specchi adducendo motivazioni assurde. Piccolo inciso ci chiede se possiamo pagare in contanti per aiutarla,mi viene i dubbio forse ad EVADERE

04/05/2025: se potessi dare zero lo metterei, siamo andati con la mia famiglia, abbiamo mangiato solo l’antipasto, perché per la carne c’era non so quanto da aspettare (abbiamo temporeggiato fino a 40 minuti) e abbiamo deciso di andare via. Arriviamo alla cassa e abbiamo pagato solo per l’antipasto 20€ a persona… letteralmente un furto, la macchinetta del caffè guasta, il bagno sprovvisto di tutto… sconsigliatissimo per chi vuole farsi un pranzo fuori con la famiglia.

09/07/2025: Questionable from a culinary perspective. Pasta was out of stock, some pizzas were unavailable. The pizzas served looked like frozen goods – no one ate more than half. Mozzarella salad came with jelly. No comment. Okay for ice cream and a drink. Better to go somewhere else for food.

19/06/2025: Called today 06/19/25, they told me it will be closed for a few more months for renovations. I hope it reopens! Otherwise it would be yet another historic place that closes.

19/06/2025: Very disappointing experience at Donato in Torre Faro Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was far from pleasant. The tables were covered in cellophane, which was sticking to our legs – truly unacceptable and uncomfortable. I ordered a Caprese salad that was completely tasteless and lacked freshness. To make matters worse, the glass attached to the table was visibly dirty, and overall hygiene seemed poor. The food arrived very late, and by that point, I had already regretted choosing this place.
