07/10/2025: Well...my friends reading this, my expectations were high, in the sense that when they tell you about a gourmet restaurant, you don't just expect a beautiful plating but something more. Punta Lena is a charming restaurant, nothing extraordinary, right on the sea. Perhaps the downside was that when we went for dinner, it was already dark, and we couldn't tell we were right next to the sea. In any case, the dishes were well-cooked, but like pretty much everywhere else in Stromboli. It didn't stand out compared to the rest in terms of food quality. One flaw I absolutely didn't expect was the peppered mussels, which were so salty it tasted like seawater. And we Sicilians know how to cook mussels...when we pointed this out, we were simply told: oh...strange... Anyway, my calamari was good, but it was frozen. Maybe it's because I'm used to eating fresh fish; I can tell right away. The flavor was very good, anyway. That said, I can't give more stars because, guys, it's truly impossible to mess up a Pepata... The prices are truly outrageous for the type of food.

09/09/2025: We called by chance looking for a chocolate cake for my daughter's birthday. We went to the café and the very helpful lady made us a cake to order, which we picked up a few hours later. The cake was delicious and my daughter was very happy. Thank you.

26/10/2025: Definitely do not recommend. Rather place that should have rating 2-3/5. We came based on the good rating and the availability during siesta. We didn't get the menu, lady offered two types of pasta, which was reheated (Most probably in the microwave). Eventually, we could accept this fact, but we paid 40 euros! Definitely they saw we are tourists and increased the price (As there was no menu). If you have to eat, better to go to the Panini bar - that's complete opposite of this place.

30/10/2025: The home-made food was excellent, but the portions weren't very generous. The road to get there wasn't the best, and the location was very basic. There were three of us, not two.

27/10/2025: Nicely decorated place, sparse staff, poor service. The food is almost inedible. The chef presumably isn't capable of catering for so many people, and the menu is worse.

13/10/2025: A splendid location on the Sant'Agata Militello seafront, the beautifully appointed interior dining room reaches its peak beauty in the summer months, with its garden and swimming pool offering a splendid view of the Aeolian Islands and fairytale sunsets. We've been here several times, for lunch, dinner, and even for our wedding ceremony. On each occasion, the food has been impeccable, thanks to the mastery of Chef Biagio and his staff, both in preparation and presentation, and with beautifully balanced flavors. The owner, Carmela, is excellent, always attentive to detail and the service is attentive and courteous. The price is absolutely in line with the offerings. Highly recommended.

10/12/2025: The restaurant is located on Milazzo's main street, a short distance from the port. The dishes offered are enticing, and the ones I chose (see photo) were nothing short of exceptional. All the ingredients have an intense flavor. The meat is cooked to perfection. The staff is friendly and always ready to accommodate guests' requests. Highly recommended. Parking is limited, and there are free or paid street parking spaces.

31/08/2025: Pleasant Sunday lunch. Good quality food. Excellent service: quick, fast, and courteous. The appetizer was fried fish, good (not greasy). The gratin mussels were not appreciated because the crumbs were dry. The marinated mussels were appreciated (a little too tasty). First courses: ravioli stuffed with grouper were good, and the linguine with mussels and clams were very good. Overall, good. Generous portions and good quality.

22/10/2025: What can I say, except that this restaurant is a tourist trap. The cheese and charcuterie board was industrial and flavorless. The waiter didn't take our order into consideration and, against our will, served us a 33 cl beer instead of a 20 cl one, which he of course charged for, despite our disagreement. Avoid

21/09/2025: The place has the perfect ambience at night. There are lights in the plants, live music and everyone is having a great time. The place was very busy but, luckily we got a table right away. The servers were very attentive and friendly. Can’t say enough positive things about them. The food and drinks were also amazing. The octopus was so tender you could cut it with a butter knife and it practically melted in your mouth. The carpaccio for a starter, that was shared, was a very good portion and it too was also incredible. Overall, I highly recommend coming here if you are in Taormina.

22/11/2025: Very easy going and good ambiance place

14/11/2025: Typical Sicilian delicacies, fantastico! What luck – we discovered this restaurant on our way back from the Taormina Gardens. The staff doesn't need to lure you in with any strange offers; you can tell right from the outside: this is the place! The selection of bruschetta is incredible, and thankfully we were warned: the portions are very generous. Delicious, affordable, and a very pleasant atmosphere. Highly recommended!

26/10/2025: Very bad. For a piece of bread with provola cheese, today at the October stand in Floresta, they initially charged 4 euros and after a long wait, they demanded 5, taking advantage without restraint and without a receipt. The provola cheese melted inside the measly piece of bread looked like rubber. 🤮

08/09/2025: Great atmosphere, new furnishings, welcoming. Tasty, well-cooked food, generous portions, and excellent service. Very pleasant, polite, and friendly staff. The price is right!

30/10/2025: Authentic, traditional Italian cuisine. Matheo has been running the place for over 50 years. It's well worth the experience. I highly recommend it.

28/07/2025: The worst coffees and cappuccinos I've ever had! Burnt coffee and watered-down cappuccino. Avoid going there, or try it yourself.
