29/10/2024: Excellent restaurant, top-notch, family-friendly service. Just the small downside that it is not possible to have a food and wine pairing. Which is normal for 9 services. The sardine and fennel pasta was for me the pinnacle of what I have tasted. And I wanted to thank them for the memories this dish brought back to me.

26/10/2024: The grounds were beautiful and spa options were excellent. Unfortunately, the massage therapist clearly didn't have a clue what she was doing and untrained.

01/10/2024: A fixed stop when you go to the Pilone beach, as granitas and ice creams are very good! The place is unfortunately very small, so it is difficult to find a place to sit.

25/08/2024: Note that the staff is friendly and attentive. The granitas are quite good and the Brioche are average, that is, delicious. Why do I put 3 stars? Everything is served in plastic cups, there is no type of awareness about the environment. Even if you take your clean glass, they don't put it there. Far from giving a bad rating, I invite you to think that 1 plastic cup used for 10 minutes takes many hundreds of years to degrade, even if it is compostable. I don't see awareness of this, the truth is neither here nor in the rest of Sicily. I would recommend serving the granita in glass when you eat it on site. Otherwise, it is a place frequented by many people, just a stone's throw from the sea (a gift from nature with a wonderful landscape, but worryingly contaminated by plastics of all shapes and colors wherever you look). I emphasize that the people who work are friendly.

16/03/2025: Absolutely disastrous experience! We arrive at the place, packed as expected on a Saturday evening, but the worst thing is that we ordered drinks and chips... There were 3 of us, and it took A LOT OF 50 MINUTES to get the second glass! Furthermore, there were few staff and the chips they brought us were practically fried for an hour, all cold and hard. They took them away and, incredibly, returned with a mix of some fresh and some still cold! Unacceptable! The pizzas arrived, and they were okay enough not to be bad, but after such service I really don't think I'll ever go back. Really a bad experience.

08/10/2024: Notoriamente sui Nebrodi si mangia abbastanza bene ed i ristoratori son soliti praticare menù fissi con costi che variano dalle 30 alle 40 euro, nelle domeniche e festività. La sala si è rapidamente affollata, ma il servizio ai tavoli adeguato e sollecito. Antipasto con porzioni ridotte, e scadenti in qualità, ma i primi ai funghi ottimi, secondi col solito tris di carne, e una mastodontica grigliata di costolette d'agnello, superlativa, ottima, la ricorderò. Il tutto accompagnato da insalata e le solite patatine fritte. Buono il vino. Pagato corrispettivo di 30 euro a pax. Consigliato

08/09/2024: Lido/ristorante situato nella spiaggia libera di castel di Tusa, abbiamo preso una postazione al costo di 15 euro per la giornata e ci hanno fatto la cortesia di offrirci una sdraio in più per i bambini. Per pranzo abbiamo preso delle fritture di calamaro ed una porzione di pesce spada per i bimbi e sono rimasto piacevolmente colpito dalla qualità. Il conto al ristorante è caro ed il personale è molto gentile. Una bella domenica di mare settembrino

30/08/2024: Esperienza da dimenticare, nonostante dei nostri amici avessero prenotato per la serata del 14, appena arrivati ci hanno detto di prendere tutti lo stesso menù per evitare di creare caos in cucina. E fin qui facciamo finta che è tutto normale, il pesce non si è nemmeno visto nei vassoi, abbiamo mangiato pasta senza vongole e la frittura di pesce consisteva soltanto in pesciolini microscopici...e due totani. Oltre al conto salatissimo, come se avessimo mangiato chissà in quale ristorante famoso, non sono riusciti a mettere sul fuoco qualche altro tipo di pasta adatta a un bambino di due anni e hanno preteso che mio figlio mangiasse gli spaghetti, certo così " facciamo prima". Mah senza parole...

24/12/2024: Siamo di Catania e spesso ritorniamo a mangiare in questo piccolo locale dopo una passeggiata a Taormina. Non puoi prenotare, passa e prova a sistemarti al meglio, il locale é molto piccolo e puoi sederti fuori. Metti tutto ciò in conto e ricordati che sei un centro a Taormina e quindi in uno dei posti più affollati della Sicilia. Premesso ciò le bruschette sono iper buone, condite e preparate con maestria, gustose e puoi crearti il tuo piatto con le varietà a menu e quelle del giorno.. Ho letto recensioni sulla gestione del cliente, per quanto ci riguarda dipende da cosa ti aspetti. Anche questa volta la nostra esperienza é stata molto positiva

03/02/2025: The pizza was ok, but the spaghetti pomodoro was tasteless, overcooked, not good. It may be cheap, but it's better to pay extra and eat tasty food

02/04/2025: Disappointing experience and poor management. I booked the room with the outdoor pool, the main element of my choice. Unfortunately, due to bad weather, I was unable to use the swimming pool. The staff told me that I could still stay in the room, but without the pool, which made choosing that room pointless. Alternatively, I was offered a room with an indoor pool, which was clearly inferior to the one booked. Despite this, I was made to pay the full amount without any reduction or refund. If a room cannot be used 100% in case of rain, this should be clearly stated at the time of booking, so the customer can make an informed decision. Instead, I found myself paying for a service I didn't receive. Lack of transparency and little attention to the customer. I do not recommend this establishment. If I could I would give 0 stars. 1) poor breakfast and low quality products 2) rude staff, in particular a RUDE woman who is not suited to working with the public. 3) 4 STARS dropped, from a hotel like this one expects the best treatment and the best services, but quite the opposite.

13/11/2024: I was invited to the 18th birthday party of one of my best friends, a very refined location with a view of the seafront and we also satisfied ourselves with the wonderful fish menu, highly recommended for holding receptions.

19/01/2025: WIth tables on the seaside, they make the best slushies (granitas) in Sicily, following the original, simple and genuine recipe by Mr Alfredo's, the original owner of the bistrot, now helped out by his sons. The place can also boast the most delicious 'pane cunzato' in the Eolian islands, a typical toasted bread seasoned with fresh tomatoes, mozzarella cheese, and you name it... Very courteous and active staff. A visit here is absolutely a MUST.

27/10/2024: En toute fin de saison nous avons été très très bien accueilli pour manger de délicieux pains cunzato à la garniture aussi bonne que généreuse ! Heureusement que le serveur (un français vivant en Italie) nous a conseillé de prendre des demis pains car cela fait déjà des portions conséquentes ! Les granités sont elles aussi excellentissimes. J’ai juste regretté de ne pas avoir l’option panna , mais avec la fin de saison ils n’avaient plus assez de passage pour écouler une préparation de crème fraîche sans gâcher ou laisser vieillir. N’oublions pas les prix très raisonnables, ni le cadre et la vue merveilleuse (encore davantage avec le calme et la douceur des vacances de Toussaint 😎)

07/01/2025: We will be back! Quiet restaurant surrounded by greenery, we booked because we were passing through for an excursion, the reservation was at 1.30pm, the extreme kindness of the owner who still let us sit despite the delay, at 2.15pm due to a hitch. We took an à la carte menu (worth it in my opinion) with appetizers, very fresh cured meats and cheeses, delicious smoked ricotta, excellent pasta with black pork ragout and digested without acidity (from this you can understand if it is a quality sauce). Don't ask him for parmesan because he only offers fresh products, such as grated pecorino... good! a place that is not in fashion at the moment, but I'm sure that, who loves to eat well and will choose this place in peace.
