Response: You doubt the veracity of my review, which is genuine. I doubt your qualification as a bartender because the Spritz was absolutely inadequate. And I paid for the appetizers anyway.

10/10/2025: We enjoyed a beautiful dinner at the Gourmet restaurant and cannot say enough good things about it! The staff was incredibly welcoming, warm, kind, and accommodating. We had the pleasure of getting to know Giuseppe and he made sure our experience was unforgettable. The flavor combinations were exceptional and unique with fantastic service and ambiance. Today, we brought friends back, and it was a total disappointment. They didn't have anything, so we asked the chef for advice. They brought us an appetizer with fish covered in vinegar, and two fish, which were also good. We ordered the house wine, which is a compliment to say it's gassy, ​​and a bitter. The price, €35 per person, was crazy and pointless for what we ate (so little), and we went home hungry. Furthermore, nothing was specified on the receipt; there were several €50 charges, which, despite asking, were never explained to us. Highly not recommended; please avoid, or better yet, know that by going, you're trying your luck.

10/04/2026: A fantastic place right in the small village of San Gregorio di Capo d'Orlando. The freshest fish is cooked with passion by chef Santino and served with warmth by owner Matteo. It goes without saying that every time we're in the area, eating at Matteo's is a must for the exquisite food and the kindness of Matteo and his entire staff. And of course, we must mention pizza chef Ciccio, who turns out fabulous, enormous pizzas. A highly recommended restaurant and pizzeria.

20/03/2026: Huge disappointment! Sicilian cassata, the queen of our pastry shop, "demands" an almond paste coating. You can't serve cassata covered in green royal icing! Not only disappointing, but cloyingly sweet. The sugar is light, so it costs less than almond paste.

These rustici cost €1.50 and would once have been called mini-sized... now, however, they're the "normal" size. Very good, yes, but small and therefore expensive. P.S. I understand the answer, but in that case, there are two options: everyone else uses much lower-quality raw materials, or they have a lower profit margin. (The truth probably lies somewhere in the middle.)

13/09/2025: Poor quality and terrible customer service. I will never go there again. I'm sorry to have to write all this, but I've never been in a situation like this. They wanted to give me focaccia with completely burned edges and insisted it was well done. I can assure you, I know how to distinguish well done from burned (a black edge that is highly carcinogenic). There was no one in the rotisserie, so there was no confusion that could justify this arrogant treatment because I dared ask for a replacement focaccia with edible edges. Finally, the guy forgot to say hello. This shows poor customer service.
