16/10/2025: I really loved The Cherry Bar and visited a few times on my recent trip to Taormina. Such a relaxing little place with outdoor seating and good service. Antonio is so friendly and accommodating and Stephanie is the best! The chef makes the best Lasagna, so light and delicious! Drinks were delicious and generous! I also made sure to pick out a few fine pastries to enjoy later before I left. A must visit on your way thru Taormina!

25/09/2025: I landed in Flanagans as a hungry passing tourist and I couldnt speak highly enough of their pleasant and professional staff their delicious food and comfortable seating set in an interesting historical antique style .I wil be bach as Arnie said in his composers film.

08/07/2025: Family-run restaurant. Typical Nebrodi dishes, generous portions, macaroni with ragù, excellent red wine by the glass. Don't forget to try the homemade almond pastries. Beautiful views of the Nebrodi Mountains, ample parking, and evening dining on the terrace. Friendly and attentive staff.

23/10/2025: Went here for lunch on a weekday, the place was practically empty as it is a part of a 5 star hotel. The outdoor dining terrace is bang on the beach with the beautiful mazzaro cove in full sight. The service levels were very high and they do charge a 15 percent service charge for the same. The food we ordered was routine fare like tuna tartare, a vegetarian pizza and pasta norma. Everything was as it should be, but nothing stood out as exceptional. Would recommend the place for a lazy lunch while visiting isolabella.

16/10/2025: We went as a group for a birthday. I chose the restaurant. We were all impressed by the charming setting and the impeccable service, with waiters who spoke French. But when the food arrived, we were all disappointed. Given the exorbitant prices, I felt really uncomfortable. Go there if you want to enjoy a pleasant setting and good service, but if you want to eat well, don't go. The dishes really lack flavor—you wouldn't think you were in Italy, which is a shame.

03/02/2026: On Saturday evening, we had a wonderful evening for my daughter's eighteenth birthday. Congratulations to you, Piero, and your staff, starting with Nunzio, the head waiter, who was incredibly kind, helpful, and professional, and his staff, who were polite, courteous, and attentive. Every request I had was immediately accommodated, and yet we were able to enjoy the celebrations even longer, as the kids danced and had fun until late, always impeccable. The food was of the highest quality and in abundance, just as I wanted it to be! We will definitely be happy to celebrate our special moments at your restaurant again!

30/10/2025: Pretty setting, cold decor and bad lighting. Not well equipped for yoga retreats. The entire staff smokes, the yoga room is a dining room next to the kitchen, good breakfast, the dinner menu had some good pasta dishes but was challenging for vegans and vegetarians (some had to go buy food), the ‘double rooms’ have a bed and a sofa, not adequate for 2 adults sharing. This required costly changes after arrival, though we had confirmed there would be 2 beds. Also, there are 2 buildings, one 100m away by the road and much less charming than the one pictured. BEWARE of unpleasant surprise charges at check out! They charge 30€ for a 5 min ride to or from town! I also got charged 8€ for 2 cups of tea (!), despite having unlimited tea as part of our retreat… Not the hotel's fault but I had a sleepless night due to a mouse in my room, they helped remove it but I never received an apology from the staff and was told it was because I opened the door to the balcony, although the mouse had made a hole in the mosquito net! Swiss hospitality, I suppose. That said, our yoga teacher was absolutely wonderful and would gladly join her again elsewhere!

26/10/2025: My partner and I had a wonderful weekend stay there! The property is beautiful, we had a great welcome drink, and the room was very comfortable 🤗 The still-warm October morning was perfect for spending time by the pool. On Saturday afternoon, the owners took us to the olive harvest in a neighboring grove. It was incredibly interesting to watch and even get involved ourselves! Afterwards, we pressed the olives in the nearby press to make the finest oil. It was an unforgettable weekend 🫒✨

14/10/2025: We went to La Lupara for an evening meal. We had the grilled squid and grilled prawns, plus a couple of cannoli and a few beers. The owners are lovely people and offer great food and company. The restaurant was full of locals, with a great atmosphere. Well worth a visit 😊😊👏👏

05/11/2025: To some, it may seem like just a bar, but to me, it's always felt like home. The girls are always smiling and very kind. Even if they only see me once a year, they remember me and save my favorite lobster tail for me. The pastas are simply perfect, always fresh and perfectly balanced in flavor. You absolutely have to stop by.

15/03/2026: Based on the reviews, we came to this pastry shop and it visually delighted us. We took 6 cakes. One of them, the cheesecake, was so dry and hard that I thought it was plastic. I returned it in surprise, and the waitress said to me "A signora..." because I guess it was my fault for choosing that cake from the ones offered in the window. No excuse, no word to explain, no apology or justification at all. She gave me another cake, similar to the first one. There were three more "plastic" ones left in the window, be careful not to choose them. I don't think you can find something like that even in the worst pastry shop in Croatia. The mini crostatas with wild strawberries were top-notch.
