15/07/2026: They should protect it like the WWF does with endangered species. The food is super solid, no frills, substantial, and plentiful. I probably wouldn't bring a new girlfriend here right away, but I'd definitely bring my best friend! The atmosphere is like an old-fashioned osteria, which is a rarity these days! I go there often, and I'll go back even more often.

16/06/2026: We came from the Hotel Olimpo, a nice spot for the beach.
However, the staff don't seem to enjoy their work. I think the girl behind the bar, in particular, is fed up with it🤨.
It's also a bit odd that you aren't allowed to choose which sunbed to take.
We only had lunch here, paninis. Fine, but not really melted well.

21/07/2026: A decidedly disappointing experience. Unfortunately, there was a lack of transparency when booking: at no point was it communicated that drinks had to be purchased separately, and the prices were disproportionate. It would have been appropriate to inform guests in advance.
Regarding the food, the portions were small, the ingredients didn't seem to be of good quality, and the seasonings were practically nonexistent, making the dishes tasteless.
The value for money is truly poor. I wouldn't recommend it, especially if you're having guests over.

I'll be there in a month and I can't wait to go back for dinner! My wife still dreams of a first course she ate there a few years ago 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻 Everything was fantastic: location, food, service!
10/06/2026: Very poor value for money. The frozen seafood pasta was awful. The only positive point was the terrace with a sea view.

You sit at a bar table with a super dirty table, they bring you three appetizers with a dirty table, and while you're relaxing, they bring you the receipt so you can go pay right away, and you haven't even finished... well... I don't know... eee...
Update to the answer:
I confirm that it was exactly like you... the receipt was brought with the excuse of a cashier change and that the accounts needed to be closed, but when I left, the lady was still there at the register.
This tactic is used to get people to pay and free up tables... I know...

16/07/2026: Delicious seafood dinner, stunning setting right on the beach. It's a shame the staff is inexperienced. Very friendly, though. A tip: if you want to show off the catch of the day, leave it in a special display case with ice and invite the customer to choose it from the display case. Don't take the fish to the beach! Reasonable price.

(€22, my heart aches for 60 grams of pasta and traces of sea urchins)
Bottom line: either I've had the wrong night or it's really not worth it.

09/08/2026: A longtime customer, disappointed. I went for dinner yesterday. All that remains of the place is the name, embellished but nothing like Old Uncle Billy. The product is only traditional focaccia, pizzas, and main courses. The staff management, however, remains unclear, without even considering the dishes or the staff's professionalism.
I strongly advise against it.
01/08/2026: I ordered a takeout pizza, leaving the pizza chef free to express his creativity. It was truly delicious. Congratulations!
