09/11/2025: "PINN GIALLA PIZZA" Really good, really nice location in Piazza Duomo, attention to detail, attentive and very helpful staff, very short wait times, and delicious food... A truly excellent experience!!

08/11/2025: Extremely disorganized, sitting around since 9:20 PM, starving, waiting while people arrived after us were served. Don't go.

14/11/2025: We came with a tour group for dinner. This is almost the only place that serves us hot soup in a winter and we liked it. Food is tasty and portion is big. Staff is friendly too.

16/10/2025: I really loved The Cherry Bar and visited a few times on my recent trip to Taormina. Such a relaxing little place with outdoor seating and good service. Antonio is so friendly and accommodating and Stephanie is the best! The chef makes the best Lasagna, so light and delicious! Drinks were delicious and generous! I also made sure to pick out a few fine pastries to enjoy later before I left. A must visit on your way thru Taormina!

10/11/2025: Thank God it was so crowded in Taormina with heavy traffic so we ended up in this great place. It is the best restaurant I've visited during my 10-day visit in Sicily. You can have a very good taste of traditional cuisine and taste one of many wines they offer. The atmosphere in the yard is just magical

09/11/2025: We’ve been all around Italy and have never had a bad meal until tonight. Terrible pizza, tasteless crust and toppings. Had the Seabass supposedly encrusted with almonds….. horrible as well. I saw someone at another table barely eat their pizza as well. Don’t go here.

07/11/2025: We had our first lunch of our 2 week Italy trip here. We loved the Margherita and pesto pizzas. My husband also got the gnocchi, which he loved. Cute outdoor spot for lunch, would recommend.

24/08/2025: If you want to step back in time, just cross the threshold of this trattoria and the magic is done. The location is simple, clean, with a family atmosphere. The menu is unfussy, but the food is truly delicious. It felt like sitting at your aunt's house, a talented chef who delights you with traditional dishes cooked simply and cleanly. Everything was delicious: the fish balls immersed in a sauce that forces you to mop up the sauce, the fresh octopus salad, the pisci ca cipuddata, the spaghetti with clams, rigorously fresh, the balanced and tasty peppered mussels. We couldn't resist the temptation of the beautifully prepared fried calamari, golden and crispy. There's no dessert, but since you've stepped back in time, a delicious cup of lemon ice cream is perfect. What can I say? If you're looking for gourmet dishes, this isn't the place, but if you're looking for the delicious flavors of Sicilian seafood, you can't miss this place. Thank you for existing! The rice was very well prepared, and the vegetables retained that distinctive crunchiness. The atmosphere is pleasant, with good lighting and comfortable tables, perfect for a romantic getaway or a group of friends. The service was excellent, always attentive without being intrusive. I found it to be a balanced place in terms of quality and price, ideal for enjoying a varied and well-served meal.

If you’re lucky enough to get a seat on the balcony, the view is truly beautiful and adds an extra layer of charm to the whole dining experience. One of the things we loved most about Granduca is the strong Italian character of the place, especially with the traditional Italian pizza oven on display. It gives the restaurant a genuine, local touch and brings an element of tradition that you don’t find everywhere. It also sets the tone for the food quality, which did not disappoint. The menu offers a very good variety of classic Italian and Sicilian dishes, along with an excellent selection of drinks. We tried a couple of different pastas and pizzas, and everything we ordered was delicious. The flavours were well balanced, the ingredients tasted fresh, and the portions were satisfying without being overwhelming. It’s the kind of food that truly reflects the region’s culinary pride. Customer service was fair and generally pleasant, though there is room for improvement. Staff were polite and helpful, but service could be a bit more attentive considering how busy the restaurant gets. 21/10/2025: !! AVOID THIS PLACE !! Entire place runs cluelessly. (Should look and believe other reviews) Arrive 10 minutes prior to the reservation. Got told to wait 5 minutes, but end up waiting more than 30. People arrived later got seated before us. Many tables’ food was missing or wrong.

20/10/2025: It was a meal we had been looking forward to, and it looked really delicious. The initial reception was also normal. We made an online reservation for 8:00 and arrived at 7:50. The waiter gave us each a glass of sparkling wine and asked us to wait for 5 minutes, but 30 minutes later we were still not seated. During this time, more people lined up, but no one showed us to the empty tables. It also looked like the diners were having trouble getting their meals. Someone who looked like the boss came out and pushed the diners who lined up later into the empty seats. Neither we nor the other diners who arrived earlier understood this arrangement. Based on this logic, we might not be able to get our meals until 10:00, which was a pity. In the end, we left and went to another restaurant. It would have been better if they had told us directly that the wait would be long, so that we could have decided whether to continue waiting, instead of constantly asking people to wait another 5 minutes. The online reservation could also be cancelled because it was meaningless.
