I migliori ristoranti di cucina italiana in Messina

22/04/2025: Die Küche hat ihre Highlights (Lamm) und ihre Lowlights (kalter Fisch serviert). Das Service ist bemüht, kommt aber nicht wirklich über einen mittleren Standard hinaus. Was uns nicht gefallen hat war die Atmosphäre. Man sitzt in einem in die Jahre gekommenen Wintergarten und das Lokal wirkt kalt. Hier scheinen auch nur Touristen zu speisen und keine Einheimischen, was wir in Italien nie als gutes Zeichen erlebt haben.

14/04/2025: Cenamos aquí por mi cumpleaños y tuvimos una noche muy encantadora. Las mesas de la pequeña terraza de la azotea están en un lugar muy romántico, con la cumbre del Monte Etna justo visible sobre los antiguos tejados. Fuimos muy bien atendidos por el personal y las opciones de comida y vino fueron algunos de los mejores que probamos en Taormina.

07/08/2025: Prices aren't sky-high, as has become commonplace in Messina and other cities. The quality hasn't suffered at all; in fact, it's consistently high. The location is very interesting and charming. The staff is incredibly friendly and the food is clean!

17/09/2025: A regular stop at this restaurant when we're in Milazzo. A small terrace overlooking the sea and always fresh fish. The staff are friendly and courteous.

27/11/2025: Everything was terrible, poor service, everything was too expensive, the starters were poor, the porchetta stank, the first courses were inedible.

23/11/2025: For such a small village, I wasn't expecting such a welcoming restaurant with delicious local specialties! I returned the next day for breakfast. Homemade brioches and granitas, delicious croissants, and a peaceful atmosphere! The staff were professional and extremely kind. I can't wait to go back!

23/08/2025: I think I've been going to this place for about two years and it's never disappointed me. The pizza is truly rich, delicious, and easy to digest. The ingredients are always top-quality. There are many places in the city that offer Neapolitan-style pizzas with high-quality ingredients, but for me, none can beat them, especially the quality of the dough, which is the only thing that makes me not regret having pizza for dinner that night. I highly recommend Oh Yes! to pistachio lovers. I'm sorry the photo doesn't live up to the review, since we had already started dinner. Also renowned for their meat dishes and sandwiches, I've personally tried the pulled pork and it's delicious, although their pizza is hard to pass up. The staff is young and dynamic; they're quick, skilled, and even friendly—you rarely find a combination like this around. Waiting times are perfectly in line with demand. Prices are in line with the quality served. About €38 per couple for two gourmet pizzas, chips, water, and a Coke. Book a few days in advance, it's always packed. See you next weekend. 😁

23/07/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo ristorante e siamo rimasti molto contenti. La pasta alla Eoliana era ottima come anche il pesce. Il servizio veloce ed i prezzi nella media. Ci simo poi ritornati una seconda sera e non ci ha deluso.

12/07/2025: Torno ogni anno da Don Piricuddu a Vulcano, ed è sempre una garanzia di qualità, freschezza e calore. Questo posto ha davvero qualcosa di speciale: l’atmosfera familiare e il pesce, sempre freschissimo e cucinato con maestria da Fabio. Ogni piatto è un viaggio nei sapori autentici delle Eolie. Dai crudi alle linguine all’astice blu: tutto è preparato con passione e rispetto per la tradizione locale. La gentilezza del personale e la cura nei dettagli rendono l’esperienza ancora più piacevole. È il mio appuntamento fisso ogni estate, e ogni volta riescono a sorprendermi. Un luogo dove si mangia benissimo e ci si sente a casa. Consigliatissimo a chi cerca il meglio del pesce in un angolo di paradiso!

29/10/2025: We tried the baked and fried pitoni with escarole, and they were very good. The arancini with ragù and crispy breadcrumbs were also very good. I don't recommend the pizza; the dough is too hard/crunchy.

07/10/2025: Over an hour's wait for rustici, which are notoriously supposed to be prepared quickly. The arancino was good, but the pidoni were more like panzerotto.

09/09/2025: We called by chance looking for a chocolate cake for my daughter's birthday. We went to the café and the very helpful lady made us a cake to order, which we picked up a few hours later. The cake was delicious and my daughter was very happy. Thank you.

I ate wonderfully; I'd say it was one of the best pasta alla norma dishes I've ever had, but I also had the opportunity to try other dishes, all of which tasted wonderful. I must also highlight the beauty and cleanliness of the place, as well as the professionalism and friendliness of the waiters. A place where you feel welcomed and at home. You also get a sense of fun and happiness. Which is just as important as eating well. I truly recommend this place. Congratulations.

06/11/2025: Simply excellent. Nine of us went to La Pergola for lunch, and everyone was extremely satisfied. We opted for the house menu, which includes a generous mixed appetizer, two first courses, and a mixed grill, including drinks. The quality of the food is very high, and everything is fresh and authentic; you can tell it's prepared with love and care. We'll definitely be back, and I highly recommend it.

14/10/2025: The arancini and vegetable croquettes were delicious. I went twice, with two different locals, so that shows how good it is!
