14/08/2024: Super super pythons, especially those stuffed with tuma.......I consider them among the best in the city. Everything is very good from the rustic ones to the focaccias, the dough is good. The lady at the counter was very professional, polite and very kind.

22/07/2024: Nice clean spacious room, with a balcony. The people were very friendly and offered great service. The pool was good with lots of sunbeds and shade. Everything was well maintained. We enjoyed our stay very much.

21/07/2024: Lovely place, impeccable service. The menu is always varied. La Cannata always offers tasty, top quality dishes. Fresh fish is served with care and taste. Santino is a great host.

24/06/2024: We had the best lunch here, fresh tuna steak with salad and potatoes. The staff is incredibly friendly and curious about us as two Australian tourists. The owner let us try the granita with brioche bread - we had the best experience learning about local customs. Thank you!!

07/05/2024: Today I went to Laura's restaurant, I also booked what I wanted by phone and she granted me a wish. A banal split pasta with cauliflower, all in white and with the addition of fresh chilli pepper and n'turrata breadcrumbs. This is happiness at the table for me. Enjoy your meal.

12/07/2024: Durante il nostro soggiorno a Salina ci piace ritornare da Carla,per assaporare le ottime specialità eoliane cucinate con passione ma anche per ritrovare quell’atmosfera calorosa di famiglia, che difficilmente si trova negli altri ristoranti.

22/08/2024: Maleducazione e aggressività nei confronti dei clienti. Non adatti a gestire un locale e in generale un’attività a contatto con il pubblico. Siamo arrivati al lido la mattina prendendo ombrellone e due sdraio. A ora di pranzo saliamo al lido per mangiare qualcosa ma ci fanno notare che non c’era posto e bisognava prenotare. Faccio presente che passando tutta la giornata al loro lido sarebbe stato corretto da parte loro avvisare della necessità della prenotazione, ma vengo sgridata a voce alta e con aggressività da una ragazza che presumo sia la titolare o la figlia dei titolari. Si avvicina a quel punto anche un’altra collega più grande che si unisce al rimprovero. Imbarazzanti

13/08/2024: Il mare di Tusa é meraviglioso così come poter nuotare con i pesci tutto intorno. Il lido é comodissimo, Giovanna e famiglia ti fanno sentire a casa, pronti a soddisfare ogni esigenza. Assolutamente consigliato

The negative thing concerns only and exclusively the owner... cold forgiveness, little kindness, the staff works with professionalism but the owner treats them worse than slaves with her authoritative and undignified ways, stressing them and keeping them tense even in front of the clients. Nervousness also demonstrated in the room. For my part, only due to the lack of humility and professionalism on the part of the owner, I will not go there again.

18/06/2024: Rude, arrogant staff.... A simple sandwich with tuna and tomato filled with black pepper. Another negative note is the badly plated sandwich...There is certainly better.

05/08/2024: An excellent focaccia and a way to spend a carefree evening with friends. The lady, the owner at the checkout, had given me the bill of 22 euros and with a smile she tells me okay 20 I give her the credit card and perhaps because I didn't pay in cash I later realize that she made me pay 22 euros. I was disappointed not because of the €2 but because of the lack of correctness. However, I repeat, an excellent focaccia

28/08/2024: Very good restaurant found by chance after a long walk in Taormina. Good welcome, quiet, fast and friendly service. The linguine vongole is delicious, a downside for the chicken which was not well cooked
