26/03/2025: Located in the center of Messina, Il Comparello Bello is a place that we often frequented in the evening, appreciating the excellent quality of the food and the consistent prices. Last week we decided to try it for lunch and we were pleasantly surprised to find the same quality as always, but with even more affordable prices. The service was efficient and fast, the environment large and clean, and the food excellent, confirming itself as a guarantee both day and evening. In summary, Il Comparello Bello is a reliable place, with an excellent quality-price ratio and impeccable service. Recommended for those looking for a good meal in the centre, at a fair price.

18/02/2025: Assolutamente da migliorare sia nell’offerta di carne proposta che… ahimè anche nel servizio che se pur ci tiene ad essere presente si vede proprio che non ha le basi. Cottura sbagliata, taglio sbagliato, tempi di servizio sbagliati, digestivi serviti in bicchieri sbagliati. Riassumendo la location è carina ma c’è tanto da aggiustare.

17/10/2024: L'eccellenza delle materie prime permette un tuffo nell'infanzia dove ritrovare sapori genuini e autentici, possibili purtroppo solo a certe latitudini. Il pesce mangiato qui è indimenticabile e rende nullo o inutile il consumo dello stesso in qualunque altro luogo d'Italia a meno che non lo si sappia cucinare a casa e si abbia la fortuna di vivere in città con ottime pescherie! La cortesia del personale e la preparazione dei panificati di Falcone rendono questo posto una meravigliosa esperienza totale.

10/09/2024: A very pleasant summer venue, with excellent quality food (you can choose between a pizzeria and a restaurant) and prompt and courteous service. To the usual "winter" specialties for which Toro Nero is well known in the area, it combines a summer menu based on fish inspired by tradition but with an innovative look. The tartares are excellent, as always, highlighting both the quality of the raw material and the respect in treating it. Tasty and light fried seafood, very good pasta with lobster with two cherry tomatoes and "marina" cheese and pepper. Among the desserts they also offer one of the best Tartufi di Pizzo, Calabrian ice creams that you absolutely must try.

22/01/2025: Tomamos dos clases de cocina aquí, la primera aprendiendo a hacer arancini, y la segunda, aprendiendo a hacer cannolo (el plural de connolos, ¡lo descubrimos! ). Ambos eran maravillosos - - divertido, informativo, entretenido. Los profesores de cocina eran serviciales, amables y hasta la tierra. Muy recomendable (pero venga con hambre, ya que obtendrá un montón de "muestras" para disfrutar!).

23/11/2024: Sono stato a cena con mia moglie in questo meraviglioso ristorante per due sere consecutive, la prima sera, abbiamo mangiato a base di pesce, una pepata di cozze e delle verdure grigliate, poi un primo di troccoli allo scoglio e paccheri a base di pesce, solo a scrivere questa recensione, mi ritorna l'acquilina in bocca ricordando il sapore e il profumo che avevano, la sera successiva sempre a cena, avevamo optato per una pizza, giustamente ordiniamo la pizza ai frutti di mare, spettacolare, un sapore prelibato. Giusto il rapporto qualita' prezzo. Consigliamo vivamente questo ristorante se volete mangiare bene. Michele N.

22/02/2025: Pizza davvero buona. Bordo non troppo duro nemmeno gommoso. Luce quasi soffusa tavoli abbastanza distanti tra loro da non urtare gli uni con gli altri con le sedie. Molto rapidi (anche se ammetto che c'era poca gente) nel portare le pizze. Ci torneremo senz'altro.

19/12/2024: The place is nice, the food is good, my favorite remains the sweet crepe, definitely the highlight. The staff is not very attentive but helpful, the only big flaw is the preparation time of the dishes, two hours for a hamburger is really too much, especially with the place practically empty. Prices a little high for the products.
