02/01/2026: The place advertised itself as dog-friendly. But I had a bad experience with my dog, who's bigger than a lapdog. Nowhere else has my dog ​​been a problem. Here, several waiters and the owner made rude comments and asked us to leave. And they did it in a way that I think could have been done much more politely. The staff is and always will be unfriendly.

02/01/2026: The owner and staff were extremely unfriendly and unenthusiastic. I've never experienced such bad service anywhere in Sicily. The espresso was mediocre at best and overpriced for the quality. The atmosphere was very loud and uncomfortable. I will definitely not be going back here.

17/08/2025: A truly beautiful, quaint place, with seafood featuring a wide array of flavors and truly excellent pairings. We'll definitely be returning. I recommend the appetizer menu, which has a truly extensive selection, and the first courses. I highly recommend driving up a mountain to get here. Congratulations!

09/01/2026: Easy-going place If you want a good plate of pasta with mussels, this is the place. No frills and no formality, but the food is good. Adequately priced (it's not a luxury restaurant). Fantastic staff, present at the right time, attentive to your needs. Then a touch of class, the Amaro delle Alpi... Thanks to the two girls who served us so kindly. It was a lovely evening.

27/08/2025: Very good quality products in a family-friendly, unpretentious atmosphere, except for the bill, which was more like that of a high-end restaurant. The wine was a bonus, with a quarter of the house's Grillo.

30/10/2025: Pretty setting, cold decor and bad lighting. Not well equipped for yoga retreats. The entire staff smokes, the yoga room is a dining room next to the kitchen, good breakfast, the dinner menu had some good pasta dishes but was challenging for vegans and vegetarians (some had to go buy food), the ‘double rooms’ have a bed and a sofa, not adequate for 2 adults sharing. This required costly changes after arrival, though we had confirmed there would be 2 beds. Also, there are 2 buildings, one 100m away by the road and much less charming than the one pictured. BEWARE of unpleasant surprise charges at check out! They charge 30€ for a 5 min ride to or from town! I also got charged 8€ for 2 cups of tea (!), despite having unlimited tea as part of our retreat… Not the hotel's fault but I had a sleepless night due to a mouse in my room, they helped remove it but I never received an apology from the staff and was told it was because I opened the door to the balcony, although the mouse had made a hole in the mosquito net! Swiss hospitality, I suppose. That said, our yoga teacher was absolutely wonderful and would gladly join her again elsewhere!

26/10/2025: My partner and I had a wonderful weekend stay there! The property is beautiful, we had a great welcome drink, and the room was very comfortable 🤗 The still-warm October morning was perfect for spending time by the pool. On Saturday afternoon, the owners took us to the olive harvest in a neighboring grove. It was incredibly interesting to watch and even get involved ourselves! Afterwards, we pressed the olives in the nearby press to make the finest oil. It was an unforgettable weekend 🫒✨

22/02/2026: You can't pay 40 euros for a slice of meat just because it was cooked and eaten on the spot and its price was 20 euros afterwards but shame on you

10/02/2026: It's a place halfway between sophisticated and casual. It's definitely popular. It's located just steps from Piazza Cairoli, making it very central. The meat on the menu is top-notch. The wagghiù is excellent, making for a truly unique culinary experience. The paccheri with Nebrodi black pork ragù are wonderful and I highly recommend them. I tried the traditional version, but there's also a version with a dusting of bitter cocoa. The vegetables are also delicious and perfectly cooked. Service is quite quick, and the staff is attentive, polite, and very helpful.
