27/07/2026: I've been a customer for many years, both for their bread and their snack bar. The last time I ordered five rolls, they charged me a flat rate that completely misrepresented the actual weight. I should add that, in addition to not apologizing for the mistake, they told me that whole-grain bread in Milan can cost as much as €12 per kg. Their rudeness, to me, a customer every summer for years, was unforgivable. Therefore, I won't be returning and I don't recommend this place. There are many other bakeries of similar quality, and the same goes for the snack bar. Customers need to be respectful!

04/07/2026: Santa Tecla, Acireale, CT. Via Argenta, 110. We had two pizzas, both delicious and enjoyable, but not unforgettable. The wait was a bit long, but the splendid terrace overlooking the sea more than made our patience worthwhile. The staff is courteous, although a little more attention would have made our evening even better.

09/12/2025: Terrible. They don't give you a menu. The only thing you could eat for a starter was pasta with mussels, which was disgusting. Rude and disorganized. They were arguing with each other, and an elderly lady was yelling at the same time. Terrible service. Poorly set table with mismatched glasses. Exorbitant prices for the terrible quality. Absolutely avoid. Cash only.

07/04/2026: It is a restaurant with a quiet and clean atmosphere. The taste of the food was generally decent, but the pasta was cooked to a degree that was on the bland side. I was expecting the impressive experience of Sicilian pasta, but I was disappointed and do not think I will visit again.

19/06/2026: Classism, arrogance, and a complete lack of ethics. A shameful experience. We visited this place as a group of eight. After sitting for a full 30 minutes without anyone bothering to serve us, we were literally kicked out of our table with an embarrassingly classist and superior attitude. The reason? According to management, there was a mandatory minimum spend of €200 to sit there. This was a completely arbitrary rule, never communicated before, clearly used to make a vulgar selection based solely on money. We made a fool of ourselves in front of our friends and were treated with arrogance and rudeness (the crostini were literally thrown on the table and the waiters pretended not to hear us so as not to bring drinks). ​Unacceptable, unprofessional, and incredibly vile behavior. We didn't even have time to start the evening (I repeat, HALF AN HOUR AFTER we entered, they were already demanding €200) when the manager approached us and told us to leave (in a totally rude manner). The funny thing is, we were supposed to spend an evening drinking and having fun, but we weren't even given the time to do so. These people, who feel so superior and look down on everyone, should be reminded that all this false exclusivity doesn't hide the reality: €4 is the real value of this place and its owners (and I'm being generous). Management is backward, arrogant, and devoid of any professional ethics. If you don't want to support a classist place that discriminates against people and uses such methods, stay away. Absolutely avoid this place. Highly not recommended.

06/03/2026: Negative experience... the place has been open for 20 days, very nice, but otherwise, no, arrogant waitress. I asked if it was possible to change the gnocchi for another type of pasta and the answer was "you can't change it because it's Sunday." We asked what they recommended, and the answer was "look at the menu, but you can." Oh, and the same goes for the wine. She was in a hurry, I wonder why. If it was 15p at that time, she should honestly be more friendly and kind to people.

12/10/2025: Simposio is an excellent venue in Piazza Dante Alighieri. A bar that's especially popular with a younger crowd. The food, snacks, and pastries are all fantastic. The owner and his staff are always friendly and welcoming. After an 18-year absence, this bar feels like home again. Thank you!

07/08/2026: Fantastic. In a small place I found so much goodness, superlative staff. The pizza was super good, I even ate the edges. I recommend it. Pizzeria Etna Pedara. I recommend it. I usually take photos too. But you'll understand it smelled amazing. I devoured it. Next time I'll take a photo. 😋

05/03/2026: I didn't think water had become a luxury item! Paying €7 for a tea seems a bit excessive! €5 for the drink and a €2 cover charge... besides, the people I was with didn't even consume anything.
