A pleasant surprise! We stopped by by chance, on the way down from Etna, and had a wonderful meal. The service was warm and friendly. They explained the menu to us in detail. They use local and seasonal produce. The food is excellent. Highly recommended.

Arriving at 10:00 PM, we were immediately given a covered table outside in a beautiful, well-maintained location (not very crowded on a Tuesday night). We ordered and were served promptly and courteously. The food was good, and the dishes on the menu were unique. The cocktails were delicious, and the bartender was happy to vary the ingredients! The waitress's kindness made all the difference!

26/10/2025: Excellent breakfast: very good hot drinks, fresh, sweet, and quality pastries. Friendly, helpful staff. Outdoor seating is also available. Recommended.
15/08/2025: Located in Piazza Umberto (now Piazza Majorana), this bar offers a good selection of homemade food (breakfast, hot food, first and second courses). The atmosphere is family-friendly, the staff friendly, and the prices are excellent.

La Casa di Cocò - Podere dell'Etna Segreta

27/04/2026: We were welcomed like family, and treated with the utmost hospitality. For our group of three and our dog, our stay here was the most memorable of our ten day trip in Sicily. The grounds alone with the views of Mount Etna make this a visit not to miss. Add the delicious FRESH plates of the best food of the trip, you can’t go wrong if it’s just stopping by for a meal or a stay. We are two pescatarians and a vegan (hardly easy to accommodate in Sicily) but we ate so well the whole stay. We also loved our room. It’s a very chic version of glamping, and we did not feel like anything was missing to make our stay more comfortable. Don’t miss out on the place!
26/04/2026: A truly unique place, immersed in nature and offering total relaxation. The property is in an exceptional location for all kinds of excursions. Managed by extremely kind, friendly, and helpful people. Breakfast terrace with a priceless view of the Catania plain. What can I say? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
