I'd call it... a pearl in the heart of town... 😍 ​Finally, a place that doesn't miss a beat. The pizza is simply delicious: light dough and top-quality ingredients. ​The environment is impeccable, clean, and meticulously maintained, both inside and out, creating a truly pleasant atmosphere. Special mention goes to the background music: present but never intrusive, the volume allows for a relaxing chat. ​The real surprise? The wine...delicious 🥰🥰. An excellent place just steps from home. Highly recommended!

02/05/2026: We enjoyed our lunch at La Vecchia Botte. There is a menu available in English but the daily menu will require translation. The staff did not speak English but they were welcoming and accommodating given we didn't have a reservation or speak Italian. It was the only place we could walk to and eat on a Sunday and we were glad to have found it. Courses come out in standard Italian fashion so expect to spend some time there. We would eat there again.
21/04/2026: Celebrated my wife's 50th birthday. Everything was excellent, from the food to the service. The owner was extremely helpful and welcoming. We'll be back.
