22/02/2024: Historic venue in the center of Corso Italia in Giarre. Large and welcoming place, excellent service and hot chocolates of all kinds. You will also find cakes in all chocolate flavours, crêpes, but also alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails. The only flaw is that the parking is a bit difficult to find, but if you want to go for a walk you will be properly rewarded in the end 😋

22/08/2024: Al ristorante Acquadelferro del Best Western Santa Caterina di Acireale, la cena di pesce è un viaggio tra sapori autentici e panorami indimenticabili. Ho degustato un trancio di cernia in guazzetto di pomodorini datterino e basilico che mi ha davvero conquistata. La selezione dei vini completa un’esperienza di gusto unica. Se cerchi il connubio perfetto tra cucina siciliana e panorama da sogno, questo è il posto giusto.

05/08/2024: Excellent bar in the center of Catania right in front of the main entrance of la Rinascente in via Etnea. From breakfast to lunch to aperitif everything was excellent. If you are in the center walking along Via Etnea I recommend a stop, you absolutely must try it!

01/08/2024: Went two days for breakfast there, the manager/owner told how to order and took order fast. Cappuccino, granita Siciliana pistachio, one round cream filled thing (dont remember the name) and brioche for reasonable price! Local police eat there too:) recommend to people who live in the area

27/08/2024: You go in for a bottle of water, you see the small rotisserie and you ask for 4 pieces, the waiter replies no, they are for aperitifs, but I find out, he comes back and says yes, it's possible, but look but they cost €1 per bottle. one...so my answer....next time if I were to buy some ice cream they will most likely ask me if I have bills as collateral...but I definitely won't go again there are many better bars with better service.

12/05/2024: For a wine lover it is the ideal place. The staff was very professional, including the owner who guided me in choosing the perfect label for the cold cuts and cheese platter I chose. I really appreciated the local products they served me and the research to pair it with the wine in a sublime way. They have a wide selection of wines from Sicily and other regions. To sum up we had a great time and will definitely be back.

13/02/2024: A great place for a quick meal. We were here during carnival. Pizza Etna is highly recommended. Large selection of wines and other alcohols.

The phone doesn't work and the wi fi is only available in the lounge, but for those like us who want to rest and get away from everything for a bit this place is perfect. Breakfast and dinner are excellent, with most dishes made with products prepared by Laura. The owner also made us a map with places to visit, too bad we only stayed one night Very positive experience, if we happen to be in the area we will certainly return

07/06/2024: Staying here means fully immersing yourself in the woods and the wonderful nature of Etna and having the opportunity to taste the delicious dishes cooked by Laura. The location is perfect for exploring Etna and the surrounding places. We stayed for two nights and in three days we visited Taormina, the Alcantera gorges, the summit craters of Etna, other places on Etna, did wine tasting in the nearby vineyards, visited thousand-year-old oaks... in short, it is an excellent location. The rooms are a bit spartan but a lot of care is taken in welcoming guests. I stayed with some American cousins ​​who had never been to Sicily before and I am very happy that they had the opportunity to experience the proverbial hospitality and generosity of this wonderful island and its inhabitants.

05/08/2024: We frequented this restaurant for two consecutive days. On Sunday, we requested a table in an air-conditioned environment, but the place was unbearably hot, and we sweated during the meal. The food was excellent; we ordered pasta with pistachio sauce and zucchini risotto with shrimp. On Monday we returned and asked to sit on the porch. The atmosphere was pleasant, with good wind circulation, and we opted for other dishes: pasta à la Norma and pasta carbonara. Both were delicious. We also tried the horse meat, and the meatballs were very good. The waiters' service was a little confusing, due to the large number of customers and the difficulty in meeting demand. The price is fair.

04/08/2024: I went on several occasions. As people have mentioned before., the service is terrible, no smiles, they walk around giving the impression they don't want to receive your order. I saw three people: the man and a woman always quite rude. The woman who was at the checkout was helpful and attentive (I don't know if it's her permanent job and she's also at the counter). Unfortunately, attention overshadows everything else. If you don't want to work with people, then don't.
