05/03/2026: I came here on the recommendation of my transfer driver and wasn't disappointed. It's a typical pizza restaurant with a clear focus on the outdoor seating area. Located at Porto Nuovo, below the church, it's well-situated. The wood-fired pizza, made on-site in both classic and creative styles, is definitely worth a visit. A tip for those who fancy wine instead of beer – just ask! I really enjoyed the local white wine they offered.

28/02/2026: We decided to try this trattoria at the recommendation of a friend. It wasn't an unforgettable experience, but overall it deserves a positive rating. We had a rustic appetizer, with very good mortadella, peperonata, and parmigiana. For the first course, pappardelle with mushrooms and tagliatelle with mushrooms and sausage. The first was good, although it could have benefited from a few more mushrooms. The second course was perhaps a little overcooked, but still good. For the second course, the grilled meat was disappointing, both in quantity and quality (the roulade was bad, the sausage was scant, and only the slice of meat was good). The tagliata with mushrooms and arugula was much better, but excellent on the palate. Finally, I enjoyed the house red wine.

19/10/2025: A lovely bar right on the seafront, we walked to it from the sports field where the students were playing a game. It was well-stocked and the staff were friendly.

27/09/2025: After a long morning walk, my wife and I, in need of refreshment, our eyes fell on a sign with a curious and at the same time hopeful name of good things "bar alchimia". What a result? Excellent choice, a cozy and very cute little environment, not to mention the owner, very friendly and welcoming, who offered us a type of pasta we had never eaten before, based on brioche dough with custard (there were different types of variations) of unique deliciousness. I felt it was necessary to report it on Google.

27/02/2026: Poor service. Among other things, I ordered coffee. It wasn't brought, but it was added to the bill. The waiter was uninterested in the other people at the table who arrived later and wanted to order something too.

22/02/2026: Overall, it was a pretty pleasant place. Nice view, okay food. We left quite happy until we checked the bill – it turned out that for some reason they'd decided to charge us €18, and it wasn't a coperto – they added that too. We'll definitely be back to Etna, but we'll avoid this place.

16/11/2025: Having been there several times, I can only speak highly of it... The small but welcoming atmosphere has several strong points. I'd start with the food: at lunch, you can enjoy dishes you wouldn't normally find in a rotisserie because they're more home-style, and at dinner, the pizzas are delicious, with a special focus on Sicilian dishes, as tradition dictates. All using high-quality ingredients at reasonable prices. The staff is friendly, professional, and very attentive to customer needs. I highly recommend it!

15/08/2025: Embarrassing organization. I called at 8:00 PM to make a reservation, but they gave me a table for 9:00 PM. At 8:40 PM, I called back to let them know about the delay, and we moved to 9:30 PM, where they confirmed. We arrived on time... and surprise: they didn't have a reservation in our name. Their only suggestion? Wait an hour. After two calls and a confirmation, we left. Chaotic management and zero respect for the customer.

05/01/2026: Like every year, I order the panettone, and what can I say, the quality is excellent! Top-notch ingredients, fragrant panettone with a soft dough and delicious filling. True craftsmanship! Congratulations again, everything is always top-notch and delicious. Also noteworthy is the kindness and helpfulness towards customers and delivery assistance, always available to provide information right up to the delivery, on time even during the holidays!

25/12/2025: I ordered a schiacciata with sausage and potatoes for Christmas Eve. It looked good, but the dough underneath the schiacciata was so moist it was impossible to cut because it fell apart, and the filling wasn't cooked through! I made a bad impression on my guests! That's not fair!

It's never happened to me that while I was eating, the owner asked me and others to leave and give up their seats to others waiting to eat. I feel sorry for them, but if you're not up to managing the chaos, get a new job. For my part, I won't go there again and I strongly advise against it. Change places; it's not worth a cent. Never again!

25/10/2025: My pizzas just arrived at my house, and I want to share my experience clearly. Let me start by saying that my wife is pregnant: we ordered at 8:40 PM and the pizzas arrived at 10:15 PM, so after a 1 hour and 35 minute wait through Just Eat. Order placed: Contadina with extra sausage (paid as a supplement) + baked potatoes Boscaiola with double mozzarella, porcini mushrooms, and sausage Nutella Pizza (very small amount of Nutella) What went well: Excellent dough, light and flavorful. Perfectly cooked, the pizzas arrived hot. What didn't: No extra sausage despite the supplement paid. Scarce toppings, very small quantity despite the price. Pizza too thin, to the point of being like a piadina. Excessive wait: 1 hour and 45 minutes for a local delivery is objectively too long. Baked potatoes were present, but in ridiculous quantities (literally countable on one hand). Red onions were almost nonexistent. Overall rating: The pizzas taste great, but they don't reflect the idea of ​​a real pizza: too thin, poor toppings, and slow service. We spent €32.61, a figure that doesn't reflect the quality and attention we received. Conclusions: I would recommend the pizzeria solely for the quality of the dough, but I wouldn't order again until they pay better attention to the details. A little more attention to customers and orders could really make a difference. Remember: the more you neglect customers, the fewer there are.

15/10/2025: Wandered into the most delightful restaurant. Got some amazing food and the best service as they served us in the rain. They made sure the food was covered and dry. The poor staff was not working through OttoBratta. We will be back.

12/03/2026: I don't recommend it. It's the only place in Sicily where we were charged extra for a table. Plus, we were given a bad price. We were supposed to pay 13 euros, but we ended up paying 18 euros. I should mention that we were the only customers at the time. The pizza itself was simply average.

The food is good, the place is welcoming, and the staff does their best to accommodate their guests' needs. We returned after a few years and our appreciation hasn't changed. We had a lovely evening.
