26/08/2025: A great place for our first and last day in Catania. Good atmosphere, fast service, a great menu for €20: the stuffed sardines are excellent and the spaghetti with mussels was tasty. The Sfizosia was also very good for €10. In short, I recommend it especially since the location is off-center, quiet and away from the tourists.

20/08/2025: ROCKY AND EMBARRASSING – THE WORST RESTAURANT I'VE EVER BEEN TO! If you want to get pissed off and throw your money away, I recommend this place. The food? A disaster. The pizza is dry and tasteless, the Aperol is watery like cheap soda. This isn't a restaurant, it's a scam for tourists. The service? Awful. And the elderly lady who hangs around the place is the height of rudeness and insolence. She can stand over you, stare at your plate, and then tell you not to share food. Seriously?! You pay, order, and then someone dictates how you eat. A parody, not a restaurant. The "pizza + Aperol" offer is simply a trap for the naive. Don't be fooled – what they serve is undrinkable. In short: filth, rudeness, tasteless food, and a lack of respect for the customer. Never again. This place should be wiped off the map, and no one in their right mind should come here. Give it a wide berth!

21/08/2025: Good food, good service, and beautiful views. They also offer gluten-free pasta.

19/08/2025: We've eaten at the dive often, but despite the weather, it's still a dive. The service is the worst: rude and with little customer service. People go there anyway, so what does it matter to them? We had to wait to order, we had to wait for our appetizers and see who else had eaten before us (perhaps because they were tourists). The response was the icing on the cake: instead of an apology, they told me, "There are only two in the kitchen." Nice lady, charge €18 for a meager fish dish; you could hire an extra person. Or maybe put fewer tables next time. Two glasses passed off as sparkling wine, definitely from a bottle opened the night before. And if you do that to a sommelier, it's a real disappointment. In short, never go to the dive again. Too expensive for what it offers (or rather, doesn't offer).

03/06/2025: Terrible experience, the staff were downright unpleasant and rude. I advise my friends never to go there. The staff and owner are rude and have no idea what hospitality and customer service are.

03/06/2025: zero spaccato , una stella o forse manco quella. Siamo stati quasi buttati fuori direttamente dal proprietario quale persona arrogante e maleducata. Dovrebbe imparare ad accogliere i cliente cosa che non sa minimamente. Mai più piede li in quel posto per i prossimi mesi. occorre empatia, gentilezza, dialogo, educazione. possono avere il miglior locale ma non sapranno nulla di tutto ciò. a dir poco vergognoso. Meditate gente

22/05/2025: We didn't know the place, the owners welcomed us even though we hadn't booked. Excellent pizzas, especially the special one with asparagus. Polite, efficient, helpful and above all smiling staff! We will definitely return to Ragusa and Comiso

31/05/2025: Una delle pizze più buone che abbia mai mangiato, abbiamo ordinato delle pizze a base di pesce (tonno bianco e malavoglia) con impasto integrale, era ben lievitata e soprattutto croccante, i sapori si sposavano alla perfezione. Location vista mare.

12/05/2025: Ristorante pizzeria sito sulla piazzetta antistante il porto di Acitrezza. Location d’annata, pizze nella norma, assolutamente migliorabili, personale non particolarmente gentile. Prezzi a mio giudizio elevati e non giustificati né dal gusto delle pizze, né dalla cortesia, né dalla location.

16/08/2025: I have been going there for years and they have always been constant over time: quality, quantity, variety. The menu is periodically renewed by adding some new courses. Simone and Gabriele are two mainstays in the dining room, while the "boss" is in the kitchen. When I can I go to visit them and I never go home dissatisfied!!!

31/07/2025: The quality of the fish was average, but not as excellent as some sushi restaurants on the island. What annoyed me was that on the Internet they talked about Italian/Japanese and Brazilian cuisine, but none of this, only and exclusively Japanese.

09/08/2025: The star for the atmosphere is due to the fact that if you don't find a seat on the beautiful, but small, terrace overlooking the sea, you'll end up in a rather ugly, poorly furnished, and very noisy dining room. The staff, while friendly, does what they can, but it's understaffed; the pizza is decent.

08/08/2025: Ordered Pizza Roma with extra arugula: little tomato sauce and no melted cheese. The pizza was too salty for my taste. My friend had a four-cheese pizza. It was good but there was extra oil, which wasn't necessarily useful. A 3 euro surcharge for the service. Beautiful sea view: 2 terraces at the back.

03/07/2025: — FOOD — Had the estate tasting menu. The starter shrimp is good; the main course seabass is underwhelming. Overall, not an impressive one-star restaurant, overpriced. — SERVICE — Everyone was seated outside. There were many mosquitoes. To make it worse, a cockroach flew on our desk and drank our water. The waiter told me this is nature as we are in nature. That is a deal breaker for me.

02/07/2025: Had a splendid experience at both of our meals at Zash Ristorante. As we were staying at the property, we were able to enjoy the full blown Michelin experience (ordered the 5 course chef’s surprise menu) on Monday evening followed by the pizza menu Tuesday (the restaurant’s “night off”) and both were stellar. Amazing views of the on-site orchard and sea in the distance. The five-course wound up being closer to 7 if you include the hefty bread course and amuse bouche which come with the order. Had some stellar Etna Bianco with both, great service and dining was five star across both very different meals. The tuna belly, ravioli and Pizza Norma were all huge hits and we trusted the Zash team to select amari and wine with little direction at both meals, and they didn’t miss.

03/08/2025: Nice place. Friendly staff. The rates are too expensive, including drinks (water, coffee, sodas, etc.). The rooms are not up to the standard of the site. No air conditioning. The nights are stifling in summer. The rooms are narrow. They lack privacy. They directly overlook the restaurant. The pool is regularly dirty, full of insects. The public trash can remained full for several days.

14/04/2025: Ci siamo fermati in questo ristorantino con asporto consigliato da persone del luogo ed abbiamo trovato cio' che desideravam: una cucina eccellente con prodotti di qualita' e la grande cortesia dei proprietari. I tonnarelli all'astice spettacolari!Prezzo onestissimo!Molto consigliato per chi, come noi, vuole assaporare i tesori della Sicilia in maniera veloce, prima di riprendere il viaggio. Lo consigliamo senza alcun dubbio!

26/07/2025: The place is okay, but the staff doesn't react to a loud guest who plays music that everyone in the place has to listen to. Muslim songs don't make the stay or vacation more enjoyable.

24/07/2025: Coffee was good. Pastries are microwaved to feel ‘fresh’. My dessert was uneatable. Lunch was not very desirable. Cold food. Would not recommend other than for a quick coffee.
