29/05/2026: We came down from Germany to visit a dear friend in Calatabiano, and on the first night, he took us to Maria's for pizza. Aside from the fact that Signora Maria should be a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it was the only pizza I've ever had that didn't give me stomach problems. I recommend the Norma pizza with eggplant and baked ricotta. On the last night, I suggested Maria come to Germany to open a Sicilian restaurant together. I highly recommend it. This is where I met a fantastic chef who takes a personal interest in every customer. He runs the place brilliantly, and the food is delicious!!! Do you remember the taste of bread from the bakery in the '90s? You'll find it here ♥️ ... The price is really decent, but please don't expect fast service, because the chef is the boss, in everything! Which, in fact, gives this place a touch of class and flavor 👅

21/12/2025: I'm giving it 3 stars, but for me it's worth less simply because I personally found the singer and karaoke very deafening, but the other people were having fun, so if you like that kind of thing, it deserves more attention. The pizza is large but not very tasty; it was Saturday, so I understand it takes a bit long to serve, but waiting over an hour... In any case, the waiters were very kind.

02/06/2026: The restaurant is in a nice, atmospheric location, but unfortunately, we personally didn't like it. It's clear that this place caters to tourists, meaning it's sloppy. The pizzas we ordered were tasteless, with a tiny amount of ingredients. Honestly, you can eat much better Italian pizzas in Poland than here.

29/05/2026: Truly an excellent experience! I ate wonderfully: generous, carefully prepared, and above all delicious dishes. Each course was carefully prepared with quality ingredients, and you could sense the passion behind the cuisine. Special praise for the great attention to those with special dietary needs: as a celiac, I greatly appreciated the care and expertise in managing gluten-free options, which allowed me to enjoy lunch with complete peace of mind. 05/03/2026: Unfortunately, it's not the quality of the food that has changed recently, but the way it's made. Meanwhile, they've downsized everything. The small croissants have become tiny, including the ravioli and everything small. Today, a white roll with only the smell of cream. Like everything else. Only dough and no cream. The diner is very poor in everything. Before, they were full and well-made. I hope it's just a problem with the pastry chef because the owners are very good, polite, and clean. Everything is shining. And we all have a good time.

27/04/2026: When we arrived, the waitress saw us both, put two napkins on, but then immediately took one away. The red beer was good. We asked for chips with chedder and bacon sauce, but it was anything but chedder. It was an expired, sour sauce with a horrible taste. Burnt bacon and salty chips, like in brine. The bad thing was that I took the plate away, we didn't eat them, and no one was there to ask if there was something wrong. In fact, I called the waiter and told him to let the waitress eat them. Then I turned around and found two waiters looking at each other and talking to each other, definitely inappropriately. We definitely won't be back. I highly recommend getting the red draft beer but not the chips. So I'll add one more thing, if you're the owner and your waiters come to you with a complaint, you should have run to hear it which you didn't do, the waiters are kind but not all of them, he doesn't take off his napkin there were two of us even if only my companion was eating but it was said that I would also contribute, so before responding to a complaint I advise you to go and find out what happened since you weren't there, I just wish you would have tasted that dish too so you understand what you give to people

05/03/2026: I'm from Rome, and when I pass through Catania, it's a regular stop. You can eat there or take out. Everything is excellent, from the starters to the vegetables. Carmine is a truly wonderful person and makes amazing desserts. Try it and believe it. Thanks for everything, and see you next time 😉

22/03/2026: Undoubtedly a quality bar where you can't complain about the products, but I've never had a cake and had to pay €1.50 for a candle and the number usually given away by the bar itself. It's not about the money but about the gesture of speculating on things that should be a service and courtesy from the owner after selling cakes. In response to yours, in my country it's called torta. Either sponge cake or biscuits, I even paid for it as a birthday cake!!
