18/03/2025: The service has usually always been great. This time an espresso coffee was brought to my table after it remained on the bar counter for about 4 minutes during which several other customers had talked over it, emitting bubbles of saliva free-falling into the cup. Coffee rejected obviously!

16/02/2025: Last night I went to this restaurant for the first time, there were 4 of us and without a reservation, they looked for a place for us even though the restaurant was full and I must say that the service was excellent and the waiting times for the pizza were short... the pizza was excellent, digestible dough and quality raw materials... the only flaw was the knife... difficult to cut... 😀... for the rest I will return to taste the first courses and more.

22/03/2025: Well-kept bar both inside and out, one of the best granitas in Catania, delicious brioche, they serve them still hot, I absolutely recommend them

07/02/2025: Helpful and polite staff, super attentive to the customer, they brought me water to the table without asking for it. Very good cartocciata, super stuffed, and a bowler hat and we sat down, all for the price of 4.60. Smiling and cheerful bartender. Definitely worth a try if you want quality and education!

17/03/2025: Very characteristic location with attention to detail. Even the toilet room stands out for its style and cleanliness. We went on a weekday, we ate from the à la carte menu and we were already full with just the starter, really rich and varied, based on cured meats, cheeses and fresh ricotta, mushrooms, olives, pieces of vegetable omelette, courgettes, aubergines, artichokes, broccoli and a truly delicious chickpea soup. The first course was plentiful and the mixed roast was really good, with even 6 different pieces. They told us that on Sundays they offer a fixed menu and the dishes are even richer. The ingredients were all fresh and we ate a lot, but above all well! Optimal! To be recommended! I don't give a rating to the rooms because I haven't seen them, but based on how the rest is managed, I imagine they are comfortable and characteristic.

05/04/2025: Service and environment nothing to complain about. Being by the sea is always pleasant and represents added value. The guys who manage the room were also quick and efficient: in this regard, at our request they moved us from the veranda outside to enjoy the sunny day. We are always in a restaurant though... and if for a first course costing over 15 euros I receive 5 paccheri in number the disappointment is enormous and not commensurate with the experience. We're sorry and we're sure you could do better. 38 euros bill for 4 pasta dishes and 2 fried dishes, with 2 first subscribers after our complaints is frankly a joke. Never again.

07/04/2025: Unsurpassed! Excellent food with quality always at the top. The all-handmade desserts are certainly the plus point of this place. Congratulations indeed to all the staff... but above all to the heart of this restaurant: the Portale brothers, great professionals!

19/12/2024: Purtroppo l'unica cosa che sono riuscito a mangiare è stato il prosciutto crudo, chiesto a parte, il resto forse era buono il giorno prima, arrivato tutto riscaldato e palesemente vecchio e soprattutto riscaldato male. Nota positiva il personale molto disponibile il maitre bravo ma consapevole di servire qualcosa di brutto. Alla fine per la fame ho assaggiato la pasta al pomodoro di mia figlia quella era passabile

31/03/2025: I'll start by saying that perhaps they would do well to wear a nice balaclava... Because they are the number one people who rob customers. Terrible experience, for two miserable appetizers with products of dubious quality, equal to the commercial discount ones, two grills (two mini meatballs in lemon leaf, 1 mini onion, 1 knot of sausage, and a thin slice of pork knuckle), 1 beer and a glass of still water we paid 70 euros. I'm more outraged by the portions than anything else. Mediocre service, the waiter who took the orders couldn't recommend anything in particular and didn't know the prices of the dishes not on the menu. High chairs for children without safety straps and nothing... what else to add... I don't think they can continue for much longer. People are tired of throwing money away and being made fun of.

31/03/2025: Nos recibió una señora muy agradable con el pelo largo y negro, que hablaba, a diferencia del resto del personal, inglés perfecto. Ella es la única razón por la que calificamos este restaurante pobre y no terrible. Con eso espero que encuentre mejor trabajo en cualquier lugar cercano. Que no es lo que deseo a sus colegas, porque su comportamiento es adecuado para restaurante calificado como “terrible”. Nunca he visto a ningún camarero pasar por tu lado, sin parar y simplemente tirar una copa de vino sobre tu mesa. No queríamos pasta, así que compramos pizza y pollo. La masa de pizza era buena, pero la cobertura en ella sabía como barato dr. Pizza congelada de nutria. Los tiernos pollos eran tan terribles que ni siquiera los terminamos. Todo el alimento es solo semi-producto congelado sumergido en aceite. Además de todo eso, esperamos nuestra factura, de nuevo, los únicos en el restaurante, durante 20 minutos. No sé si quedamos atrapados en una trampa turística o este es un lugar realmente terrible para comer. Ahora estamos en camino a encontrar algo para hacer esta pesadilla un poco mejor.
