I'm from Rome, and when I pass through Catania, it's a regular stop. You can eat there or take out. Everything is excellent, from the starters to the vegetables. Carmine is a truly wonderful person and makes amazing desserts. Try it and believe it. Thanks for everything, and see you next time 😉

Today I had lunch at trattoria prices. Too bad it's self-service. A first course (alla norma) and a second course (tripe) with a bottle of water cost €18.00. I wasn't satisfied with either dish.

What can I say? If you're looking for a deli, you're in the wrong place, because the food here tastes like home. Everything is delicious: the first courses, the second courses, the side dishes. Fresh products, cooked with care. Impeccable service and cleanliness. Highly recommended!!!

02/11/2025: It was a lovely evening, with a pleasant atmosphere and professional, friendly staff who were able to advise us on our choice of dishes. Fast service, reasonable prices, and excellent product quality. We'll gladly return.
11/10/2025: Friendly service. This was the only restaurant open for lunch on an October Friday when an annual festival was being set up. Pizzas were not available. That left pasta. The pistachio sauce was great. The pasta with mushroom sauce was watery and not particularly tasty. Big servings. A free serving of prickly pear, the local speciality.

07/03/2026: A very nice and welcoming place, with outdoor seating. Excellent cocktails, well-mixed and beautifully served. Attentive and fast service. Dinner or aperitif available.
