14/03/2025: Excellent food, the raw and cooked starter is truly excellent. Abundant quantities, both of the starters and the first courses. Too full to order the second course and dessert, but they would have deserved those too

22/03/2025: Cantine Sanfilippo is a place on the outskirts of Pedara in the direction of Trecastagni. The place is very nice and welcoming, with an atmosphere halfway between a pub and a Mexican place. The waiters with sombreros are also nice! The menu includes meat dishes, pinse, a Tex Mex part and a menu of the day on a blackboard. We had a good time, excellent dishes and good value for money. The only criticism is that orders were taken by only one person! In such a large place, with such a wide choice on the weekend it becomes impossible!

09/03/2025: Perfect place for an evening with friends. Friendly staff, excellent tongs. Personally I didn't like the taste of the guacamole sauce, both because it was extremely sour and because it had a strong coriander flavour. Served with cheese nachos, the whole thing wasn't the best; we therefore asked for non-cheese nachos and the staff replaced them in a very short time.

02/04/2025: We were very well received in this restaurant even though we were cold and wet after climbing Etna by bike. Thank you for this comfort by the fire and the very good meal!

02/04/2025: The chips were clearly frozen, soft and tasteless. The lasagna was the biggest disappointment: the meat had a strange and unrecognizable flavor, the cheese used seemed to be Galbanino (nothing traditional), and the sheets were so thin that they were raw. But the worst thing was finding hairs inside the plate. We reported it, but the staff, instead of replacing it, simply told us to remove them with a fork. An incredible lack of hygiene and respect. The environment was dirty, with an unpleasant smell that made it difficult to enjoy the meal. There were dead insects next to the window, the bathrooms were in terrible condition and the staff was very rude. We asked for sauces, and after saying no several times, when they finally brought two, they were already open. Overall, a place to absolutely avoid. The lasagna seemed like the one from the vending machines and the hygiene really leaves much to be desired. With a little more attention and a little respect for the customers, it could have been a completely different experience.

10/04/2025: Really very good breakfast and ice cream. This is where the locals shop themselves and as far as I understand it, the other cafes also buy their sweets here. We had breakfast here every day for a week.

29/03/2025: I have never had a bad experience with the staff and they are truly top notch, the food and the environment do not disappoint with regards to the price being a little high but the quality meat is worth it I assure you not to mention the chef who pays attention to the smallest details and explains every little detail you can see that he held some courses it was a little late the last time but they welcomed us even with the kitchen almost closed I know a lot about cooking and trust me that warm pistachio heart is not the one you find around recommended.

25/03/2025: We were welcomed with great cordiality, attentive, competent and impeccable service. The owner is very kind and affable. A lunch savored in every course. The perfect value for money and the refined and soft location. I highly recommend it.

05/04/2025: We had a dinner with first courses. On the paccheri with swordfish, almonds, aubergines and mint, I felt too much mint for my tastes. Still good. My wife had linguine with seafood, very good. Very nice welcome, very warm, kind and professional staff. They brought my son a 'giant' bib with his name written on it, so he wouldn't get dirty. Then they brought some fish arancini as a tasting, I must say very good. And finally sorbet kindly offered! Top positioning in Aci Castello! Advised
