04/05/2025: A dear friend of ours works there, so we wanted to experience the macrobiotic world. We were very surprised by the variety and quality of the dishes. The kitchen staff is young and talented! The food is excellent and healthy. They also sell everything organic...unprocessed. Highly recommended.

11/09/2025: We stayed here for two nights with our large dog. We had a lovely air-conditioned room. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our car was safely parked overnight in a camera-monitored parking lot. Overall, we felt very safe. A lovely and very clean facility.

19/10/2025: One of the best pizzerias in Catania and its province! They're very careful about gluten-free options: light, digestible dough with a flavor that rivals traditional pizza. Impeccable service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, always attentive to customer needs. The pizzas are among the best I've ever eaten: quality ingredients and perfect cooking. I'll definitely be back 💪🏻

13/09/2025: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was okay; the toast, although large, was very dry and there wasn't enough on it. The fries were unfortunately far too salty. Nevertheless, the value for money was good.

29/08/2025: I had dinner here one evening in August. Excellent toasted sandwiches, made with high-quality ingredients. The staff is attentive and happy to advise you on your toast selection. You can eat inside or outside, on a street adjacent to Catania's typical Via Etnea. If you're unsure of what to eat and want to get through quickly, I highly recommend it. The toast is enormous.

22/04/2025: Questo posto è perfetto per assaporare la genuinità del pesce fresco ,la professionalità del gestore e la gentilezza di Paolo ,per non parlare del padrone che ci ha accolto con battute ironiche e scherzose facendoci sentire come di casa ....consigliato e azzeccato.

14/04/2025: Locale di gusto e buona cucina ero stato portato qui da colleghi catanesi e avevo mangiato molto bene. I prezzi erano alti ma valeva la pena tornare e infatti sono tornato d ad solo e con grande sorpresa mi hanno fatto sedere in un tavolo all’angolo della sala davanti al muro. I piatti portati erano miseri rispetto alla volta precedente. Gamberi microscopici evidentemente prodotto surgelato da supermercato. Vino portato già versato nel bicchiere. 40 minuti per avere un piatto di pasta mentre cameriere e proprietario si pavoneggiano ai tavoli degli amici. Non adatto a clienti occasionali solo amici fidati

31/05/2025: Nell'attesa dell'orario della visita guidata al monastero dei Benedettini mi sono fermato qui per un cannolo. I cannoli li riempiono al momento e sono discreti. Tuttavia, come a volte accade nelle località turistiche, anche qui gli avventori locali quando entrano nei bar vengono serviti prima dei turisti e saltano la fila. L'usanza ovviamente mi disturba quando sono io il turista ma stamattina avevo tempo da perdere e non me la sono presa più di tanto.

04/08/2025: A traditional pizzeria, I happened upon it in the area when they had just opened about thirty years ago, and it remains one of my favorite pizzerias.

06/09/2025: We stayed at La Fontana del Cherubino and couldn't have made a better choice! The property is meticulously maintained, spotlessly clean, welcoming, and immersed in a truly special atmosphere. The location is perfect for exploring the area, yet also guarantees tranquility and relaxation. A special thanks to Mr. Mario, always available and attentive, whose kindness made us feel at home. Every detail was designed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return next year!

01/09/2025: We had a fabulous stay here! Such a nice quiet location, surrounded by nature, and next to mount Etna. The breakfast service with the bar in town was fantastic! We enjoyed the local foods from the suggestions, and even got to see the old aqueduct when we asked to visit. Wonderful experience and thanks for making us feel so at home!

26/08/2025: I visited Caseificio Fontanapietra and I must say it was an exceptional experience. I had the opportunity to taste several products, and honestly, they were all top-notch. All the cheeses I tried were delicious; you can really taste the care and passion they put into their production. They have an authentic, genuine flavor that's hard to find elsewhere. However, there's one product that particularly struck me and deserves a special mention: their ricotta. It's truly spectacular. Soft, velvety, and with a delicate yet intense flavor. It's not your average ricotta, but something that truly leaves you speechless. ​If you're a cheese lover and are in the area, I absolutely recommend stopping by Caseificio Fontanapietra. It's worth it just to try their ricotta. You won't regret it!

20/09/2025: I ordered a panino rustico by phone, only to have it ready upon arrival, clearly specifying that, as a vegan, I don't eat Morbidone. The first time, they made a mistake by adding mayonnaise (which wasn't requested and wasn't vegan). I went back to have it remade, and incredibly, the second time they actually used Morbidone as the base. To make matters worse, the owner even had the audacity to ask me to pay for the incorrect sandwich the second time, instead of remaking it correctly and free of charge. I'd like to emphasize that the counter staff has always been knowledgeable and courteous; I have no complaints about them. The only problem was the owner's disrespectful attitude toward customers. Over the years, I've also noticed a decline in the quality of the food. After this experience, unfortunately, I won't be returning.

16/08/2025: Simply perfect!!! The owners are incredibly kind, giving us tips on places to visit and how to get there, and they're also incredibly friendly. The food is top-notch, with the option of dine-in or takeout (it's a shame they're only open in the morning), and the prices are incredibly reasonable. I highly recommend it if you're in the Gravina area of Catania.
