27/10/2025: I can't understand how anyone can consider pizza good. ...3 pizzas arrived completely burnt, remade twice ... and even with prices higher than average ... I paid out of courtesy but I threw away €28, pizzas ended up in the garbage ... I wouldn't go back there even if I were tied ... even the sarcasm of the waiter who preferred it like this ... crunchy ... that is, charred and even with the sauce black underneath ... meh!!!! ... when a customer orders specifying a pizza not burned underneath, it does not refer to the cooking but to the fact that attention is paid to cleaning the oven with a simple pass of the broom to remove the residues of burnt flour ... I like a well-cooked pizza, crispy but underneath it must be golden and not full of burns due to poor management of the oven ... In fact, lastly I received a pizza undercooked ... mine is meant to be a constructive criticism, to give you the opportunity to improve ... have a good day.... I returned a month ago for a birthday and I must say that I finally found a very good pizza with excellent ingredients and, finally, with a cooking Impeccable...well done, and congratulations again! Sometimes listening to criticism constructively always leads to improved service...pizza cooked perfectly and wonderfully golden underneath...perfect...we'll gladly return... This has been a long-time favorite place for excellent pizza...October 26, 2025, 10:00 PM...full but not crowded, we immediately got a table for two, and in less than 20 minutes, two wonderful pizzas arrived...perfectly golden, dry, and crispy...excellent ingredients...an excellent wine served by the glass, opened in front of us by a very kind waiter...once again, completely satisfied...congratulations

20/09/2025: I ordered a panino rustico by phone, only to have it ready upon arrival, clearly specifying that, as a vegan, I don't eat Morbidone. The first time, they made a mistake by adding mayonnaise (which wasn't requested and wasn't vegan). I went back to have it remade, and incredibly, the second time they actually used Morbidone as the base. To make matters worse, the owner even had the audacity to ask me to pay for the incorrect sandwich the second time, instead of remaking it correctly and free of charge. I'd like to emphasize that the counter staff has always been knowledgeable and courteous; I have no complaints about them. The only problem was the owner's disrespectful attitude toward customers. Over the years, I've also noticed a decline in the quality of the food. After this experience, unfortunately, I won't be returning.

19/10/2025: The croissants and tea were both good. It's a shame the place was very dirty and the prices were a bit high.

15/09/2025: Quite nice, the food isn't bad, I have some doubts about the cleanliness and the service is very slow, for a quick meeting it's nice, nothing special.

26/10/2025: We went as a group for pizza, and everything was delicious. The food, the staff, the price, and the location.

20/10/2025: Nice restaurant. The food consisted almost exclusively of mushrooms; unfortunately, there was no fish at all, and the appetizers all consisted of a selection of cold cuts (cheese and sausage). The service wasn't very attentive either; I would have liked another glass of wine. The food was okay, with plenty of butter.

06/10/2025: Eating on a terrace sheltered from the wind by the harbor: a dream come true. Enjoying delicious fresh fish simply grilled after choosing one from among many others. A great restaurant not to be missed!

01/10/2025: La Grotta – the food was, of course, very good. Surprising – despite the name – was the ambiance inside, beneath the giant lava boulder. Also surprising: you place your order at the fish counter right when you enter => the freshest fish. And we've never before received a whole bag full of delicious rolls, like coperto bread. Naturally, very fresh and delicious. Overall, a special experience, also due to the restaurant's location.

18/10/2025: The atmosphere is unique, with the colors and flavors of a place long gone. The food and service are excellent. The owner is very kind.

19/10/2025: One of the best pizzerias in Catania and its province! They're very careful about gluten-free options: light, digestible dough with a flavor that rivals traditional pizza. Impeccable service, friendly and knowledgeable staff, always attentive to customer needs. The pizzas are among the best I've ever eaten: quality ingredients and perfect cooking. I'll definitely be back 💪🏻

22/04/2025: Questo posto è perfetto per assaporare la genuinità del pesce fresco ,la professionalità del gestore e la gentilezza di Paolo ,per non parlare del padrone che ci ha accolto con battute ironiche e scherzose facendoci sentire come di casa ....consigliato e azzeccato.

14/04/2025: Locale di gusto e buona cucina ero stato portato qui da colleghi catanesi e avevo mangiato molto bene. I prezzi erano alti ma valeva la pena tornare e infatti sono tornato d ad solo e con grande sorpresa mi hanno fatto sedere in un tavolo all’angolo della sala davanti al muro. I piatti portati erano miseri rispetto alla volta precedente. Gamberi microscopici evidentemente prodotto surgelato da supermercato. Vino portato già versato nel bicchiere. 40 minuti per avere un piatto di pasta mentre cameriere e proprietario si pavoneggiano ai tavoli degli amici. Non adatto a clienti occasionali solo amici fidati

13/09/2025: The staff was very friendly and helpful. The food was okay; the toast, although large, was very dry and there wasn't enough on it. The fries were unfortunately far too salty. Nevertheless, the value for money was good.

29/08/2025: I had dinner here one evening in August. Excellent toasted sandwiches, made with high-quality ingredients. The staff is attentive and happy to advise you on your toast selection. You can eat inside or outside, on a street adjacent to Catania's typical Via Etnea. If you're unsure of what to eat and want to get through quickly, I highly recommend it. The toast is enormous.

28/10/2025: Seafood trattoria. There's no written menu, which can make choosing a dish a bit difficult. The clam pasta is good. I didn't like the lobster pasta.

06/09/2025: We stayed at La Fontana del Cherubino and couldn't have made a better choice! The property is meticulously maintained, spotlessly clean, welcoming, and immersed in a truly special atmosphere. The location is perfect for exploring the area, yet also guarantees tranquility and relaxation. A special thanks to Mr. Mario, always available and attentive, whose kindness made us feel at home. Every detail was designed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. We had a wonderful time and can't wait to return next year!

01/09/2025: We had a fabulous stay here! Such a nice quiet location, surrounded by nature, and next to mount Etna. The breakfast service with the bar in town was fantastic! We enjoyed the local foods from the suggestions, and even got to see the old aqueduct when we asked to visit. Wonderful experience and thanks for making us feel so at home!
