19/08/2024: I would like to point out that I am originally from this splendid and hospitable island that is Sicily and that I fully appreciate and know all the delicacies that this island offers. I book the restaurant using the menu and the description of the place that I find online and I trust what I read. I arrive at the restaurant and I find myself in front of a not bad, nice and well-kept place but my friends and I are immediately disappointed to see that the menu delivered to us was completely different from what was expected and included very complex gourmet-type dishes with ingredients that included a (pass me the term) a little "pretentious" and very expensive. We still decided to stay and try a first course each, while on the menu it was expressly indicated that the minimum consumables were 2 each (already making me laugh) . I would also add that dinner is served on an iron table without a tablecloth which doesn't seem suitable for a pretentious restaurant. They serve us the first courses and we don't like them (one with the anchovy sauce was submerged by the sauce itself, the other with the burrata which completely covered the flavor of the sardines) so much so that one of my friends didn't have dinner. We refuse to consume the second course and go to the cashier. To the young lady's question about how our experience was, we honestly replied that it was not satisfactory. So first they politely offer to deduct the cost of the uneaten dish, then with a distasteful slip they claim that they have to check whether the plate was actually still full and the dish not consumed. Laughing, we pay the total of 25 euros each for a first course and promise ourselves never to return again.

24/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo locale a pochi passi dalla piazza del Duomo. Abbiamo ordinato due pizze semplici ma molto buone, una bufala ed angela (con pomodorino e piccante). L'aspetto delle varie portate, che abbiamo anche visto su altri tavoli, erano davvero invitanti. Le pizze sono state sopra le aspettative, davvero gustose e stile napoletano contemporaneo. I ragazzi che ci hanno servito sono stati molto cordiali e disponibili, si meritano tutti e 5 i punti.

09/08/2024: A very nice restaurant in Palermo, on the edge of a street full of noise and crowds. The service is cordial and not overbearing. The ladies were very nice and when they saw us fanning ourselves with a napkin, they brought a fan. Pizza and gnocchi very good!

07/08/2024: Good food and excellent cocktails at absolutely fair prices... but above all wonderful company: the staff is really kind but without formalism, the customers are multi-ethnic (a real tower of Babel). A place to make new friends. In the heart of the historic center of Palermo. Absolutely worth trying, a reservation is recommended to avoid not finding a seat.

18/08/2024: Prices at the restaurant much higher than those published on the site!! Some dishes are up to 50% more expensive. For example, if you go for spaghetti with clams, the price will not be €12.50 but €18; mixed fry not €12 but €16; peppered mussels not €9 but €12 and so is the entire menu. The inexplicable justification was that they don't have the possibility to modify the site, which therefore remained with the prices of about 5 years ago, but in the meantime they attract customers like this. Table with 11 seats which they would not have had if they had published the real prices.

01/08/2024: Beautiful experience from Crik and Crok. The rings and pasta with octopus ragout are highly recommended. The owner was very courteous as were all the waiters. The only flaw is that they are a little too slow but the wait is rewarded by the goodness of the dishes served

11/07/2024: The very beautiful structure is in a central position with respect to the town but at the same time quiet. We also stayed here two summers ago and really appreciated the renovation work carried out in the meantime. Fortunately, it has maintained the traditional characteristics of the place with taste. The management is family-run and you can perceive the attention of the owners and all the staff towards the guests. Even in the dining room, impeccable service, plentiful and excellent quality food.
