07/02/2026: We had dinner at this osteria on Saturday evening. The atmosphere was welcoming and the attention to detail was meticulous. Impeccable service, with smiling, attentive staff. High-quality dishes with delicious presentation. Sicilian cuisine, with grandmother's flavors... but with the chef's touch! Definitely worth a try.

31/01/2026: We tried the seafood tasting menu: everything was excellent, especially the stuffed artichoke. Each course was paired with delicious wines. The atmosphere is intimate and welcoming, perfect for a romantic evening. A true treat in the heart of Palermo.

23/03/2026: I had researched where to have my first lunch in Catania. Lovely swordfish and shrimp pasta washed down with half bottle of white wine. They gave me a free chocolate brownie pud after. Such hospitality. Busy and fresh seafood. Off the beaten track. Highly recommend

08/03/2026: A table for seven with diverse tastes and palates. We began planning the menu the day before with the restaurant staff to ensure everyone would be satisfied. Dinner was a memorable culinary experience, but what struck me most was the attention to service. The wait staff was highly qualified and attentive to every detail.

01/12/2025: We stayed at this property last weekend. I'll start with what I liked. The Shalai is a finely renovated late 19th-century building, elegant and welcoming. The strong points are definitely the restaurant and the kindness of the staff. It also has a spa, which, although small, is still usable and enjoyable. The downside, at least in our experience, was the rooms. We had a superior double room: nice, but not excellent value for money. Although it was reasonably spacious, the bathroom was not up to par with the rest of the property, especially since the shower curtain was dated and unhygienic, unlike even one-star hotels these days. Here's a tip for the property: the property is amazing, the staff is a plus, the spa is delightful, and the restaurant is top-notch, but please, remove those curtains.

09/01/2026: I celebrated my graduation at Villa Bacchus and it was a simply perfect experience. The food was delicious and every detail was taken care of. The location is impeccable, elegant, and well-organized, ideal for a special event. The owners were friendly and kind, as was the entire staff: always available, professional, and attentive to every need. Everything was exactly how I wanted it, organized down to the smallest detail. I highly recommend Villa Bacchus to anyone who wants to make a special occasion unique.

24/02/2026: I'd been there before on a motorcycle tour and remember the bruschetta... But last Saturday... we came back for dinner... the four of us, Raclette for everyone! Amazing! Excellent quality vegetables and cured meats! Quiet atmosphere and friendly service! During the day, the view is picture-perfect... with Mount Bersaio... I'll definitely be back... The restroom door, too... is a real gem!

06/01/2026: A disappointment. The food is subpar, perhaps acceptable to some unwary tourists, but it has nothing to do with the authentic flavor of dishes from the past.

15/02/2026: A top-quality pizzeria restaurant with impeccable service. You can practically order a wide variety of dishes, but the meat is the highlight. Try the cacio e pepe pasta and some of their other reinterpretations of first courses.
