14/05/2025: We were here three times during a seven-day trip - not enough. I can honestly say that this is the best pizza we have ever eaten, and we have been to Italy for a while now and have tried many pizzas. We met the chef in person, it was really nice to tell him straight out that he is the best. We also tried the local red wine, delicious. The atmosphere in the place is also great - music, laughter. It really is a place that I can wholeheartedly recommend to anyone.

09/05/2025: Delicious, Portions are ample. You can share the appetizers. The staff are very friendly. Speak only a little English but we used translator and did well. I recommend!

02/05/2025: If 11(!) of the last 25 reviewers have only written one review, it usually means to be careful. We still dared and gave Despacito a chance while we were passing through. We were the only guests at lunchtime and were served very promptly and friendly. There are currently two menus on offer, one for 19 euros and one (with desert) for 29 euros. Since we weren't that hungry, we opted for the cheaper one. Of course you can't expect miracles for the price, but it was a good choice. The ambience had something of a circus tent with chairs made of tubular steel and the Christmas decorations that seemed strange, the music was loud, but in the end the price and performance were right.

17/05/2025: Estamos en nuestro cuarto día viajando por Sicilia. Al llegar a nuestro alojamiento deambulamos por las calles de Marsala, buscando un lugar para comer. Después de haber pasado por varios restaurantes que casualidad en Oscia Restaurante, habiendo sido sentado por el camarero educado leímos el menú haciendo nuestras elecciones. Durante este tiempo me di cuenta de lo relajado que me sentía, el ambiente del restaurante era cálido, acogedor y rezumado de calma. Disfrutamos de la casa de color rojo, y nuestros dos principales, que eran deliciosos y calientes. (La comida caliente es una ventaja en estos días que encuentro) Luego seleccionamos el desierto, uno mejor descrito como un sándwich de gofres crujientes (waffle hecho con masa de cerveza) con un relleno cremoso. Para ser justos lo seleccionamos como un “realmente con cerveza” pero recomendaría este postre, no se dejen llevar por los ingredientes que tiene un factor sorpresa. La otra era una casita de naranja, las dos no dudaría en tomar de nuevo. Si volvemos a Marsala, no dudaría en volver a Oscia.

17/04/2025: A special last evening in Sicily Our last evening in Sicily started rather unusually. After a visit to Taormina, we didn't want to just spend the evening at the motorhome. A Google search showed that this restaurant was the only one in the area that was open that evening - and the consistently positive reviews piqued our curiosity. We were all the more disappointed when we found ourselves standing in front of a locked gate at 7:30 p.m., even though according to Google it should be open from 7 p.m. Luckily we didn't give up and called the phone number provided. A very friendly gentleman got in touch, asked about our wishes - and had apparently already spotted us and our two dogs via a camera at the gate. Shortly afterwards we were shown to reception and warmly welcomed. After a short consultation, the gentleman personally accompanied us to the restaurant. What followed was an evening full of enjoyment: lovingly prepared, unusual and extremely tasty dishes, as they have already been aptly described in many reviews. However, we were particularly touched by the authentic friendliness and motivation of the entire team. Nobody was bothered by our dogs or our camper outfit, which was certainly not suitable for a restaurant. We felt completely welcome and thank you very much for this wonderful last evening on your beautiful island!

20/05/2025: the menu needs to be downloaded to your phone, and it's inconvenient because you need to translate words in an electronic translator, it takes a lot of time and memory on your phone. the waiter is wonderful. but we had a birthday and there was no congratulatory piece of cake, there was nothing, it's strange in the restaurant business. and there is nothing for people who don't eat meat and fish. but we liked it 🥰

12/05/2025: As part of a guided city tour, we also visited this square. It was interesting, but unfortunately the surrounding area was not very clean.

11/05/2025: A must stop site. You can see the four corners with sculptures. Always full of people. Singers, bars, gastronomy in general. I recommend sitting for a moment to admire the place.
