10/03/2025: Nice place yesterday Sunday it was full but the guys in the room were very good good food served with a smile a rarity that I have found in other good places normal price €52 for two starters the two excellent first courses a bowl of chicory two beers I don't have a receipt because I was invited😂👋

09/03/2025: Excellent quality of dishes. By working to improve the service we can reach a full 5 stars. The time elapsed between the starter and the subsequent courses was decidedly excessive.

24/11/2024: We were here some time ago, we had a great time, super friendly and helpful staff... Simple breakfast with homemade desserts that were very good, we had an aperitif that turned into dinner tasting different dishes all very good. I highly recommend it for the tranquility and the very suggestive place, you can see exceptional sunsets.😍

27/03/2025: Siamo stati a bari per lavoro e abbiamo trovato questo locale su the fork. L'Ambiente è accogliente e il personale cordiale ed educato. Il cibo davvero ottimo, di qualità. Abbiamo preso le bombette alla Martinese, una tagliata di pollo e la Tartare a Modo mio. Tutto davvero squisito. Consiglio vivamente.

22/09/2024: A small Sardinian-style fast food restaurant. The food is very good and the service decidedly "fast". Good prices for the quality and quantity of food. Recommended for a quick dinner or lunch!

21/09/2024: Sardinian "Kebab" or "Dürum" and much more. Had 2 variants of the Dürüm, which was interesting, but somehow expected more. Meat had no particular taste or was a bit drowned out. Bread or the wrap could be crispier, it is only put in the oven for a very short time. It's better to put it briefly in a sandwich maker. Staff extremely friendly, courteous and quick.

11/03/2025: Something hidden in the mountains - you don't really know whether it's an abandoned farm or a car graveyard. Only the guests sitting and eating on the terrace make one think of a restaurant. A gray-haired lady does the service. There is no menu, typical Sardinian menu or pizza, white or red wine by the carafe. Several courses are served one after the other. Simple, no-frills cuisine. Pickled vegetables, a very tasty goat cheese and bread. Then gnocchi with cheese and tomato sauce and two more courses. With two Mirto, espresso and 0.5l wine and a meringue dessert we paid €25 per person. For me it was simple, honest cuisine, not (not even expected) star gastronomy. The whole atmosphere, donkeys and cats etc. was a total experience. Cash only !!!

06/03/2025: Eating at Sant’Anghelu was the highlight of our trip through the nuoro province. Gianpaolo, the cook and owner, provides an amazing culinary experience, with a set meal based on seasonal products. We were served with fresh courses of vegetables, pasta, meat and desserts, all of which were incredibly tasty and filling. This, coupled with lots of wine and local liquors, amounted to around 40 euros per person (but 25 without the meat courses and wines/ liquors), which was really surprising for the quality and quantity of food provided (we recommend not eating anything the day before) Thanks you so much for this. Easily recommend to anybody who likes good food.

25/03/2025: Incompetent and extremely, unnecessarily rude! *I have not stayed as a guest at this hotel. I'm writing a review based on my experience as a prospective guest, inquiring about the hotel's offerings, and the service that I received.* The website is elegant, with aspirational and beautiful photos. However it hardly includes enough logistical and practical details about the hotel, its offerings or amenities. Such as: are the pools heated, is there airport transfer, is there beach access and transport, if so which beach/how far/how much, etc. Therefore, I tried calling the phone number on their site over several days (from overseas I might add). No one ever answered. I have never encountered a Hotel that did not pick up their phone. I finally emailed them with several questions and Giulia, their Reservations and Sales Manager, responded but did not answer all of my questions. It was a Friday, they're 6 hours ahead, and closed for the weekend. I waited several days for her reply, and it turned out she didn't know the price of the beach amenities. Again, never encountered a Reservations manager that didn't know the simple cost of sunbeds/umbrellas. Instead of easily finding out the cost and then sharing with me, she dumped me on her colleague and asked me to wait on their response. So again, I had to wait for this person's reply to my question via email and deeper down the rabbit hole I go. I asked twice if she could call me instead of us emailing back and forth so I could avoid waiting days/weekends for a reply. The reason I had to email twice, is because as mentioned earlier, she never fully addressed my emails. She finally very crudely responded to my second email and said a phone call was not possible because their phone lines and wifi were down due to renovations. No apology, no acknowledgement of inconvenience. Instead, she rudely criticized my comment about waiting over the weekend— "As far as weekends are concerned, as the hotel is closed for winter season and hotel renovations, the reservation office is closed on weekends, for weekly rest. I BELIEVE THIS IS EVERYONE'S RIGHT. Moreover, we notify our guests with an out of office, and as soon as i came back to the office i have directly replied." Wow. This is a 5-star hotel? I just wanted to know how much the sunbeds cost, and I just wanted to talk over the phone to quickly move forward with booking. Thank you for completely misconstruing my words, lecturing me on the purpose of weekends, and for berating me on your rights.

25/03/2025: Fantastic hotel and attentive and professional staff. Highly recommended for a relaxing and enjoyable holiday. An oasis of pure beauty, 5 star luxury - amazing view.

19/11/2024: Capitati per caso in una serata autunnale, con musica dal vivo di una cantante molto brava. Servizio molto gentile di tutto il personale, pochi piatti essendo fuori stagione. Cucina dai sapori decisi, abbiamo apprezzato tutto, compresa la cacio e pepe con tartare di tonno o variante gamberi. Le cozze alla marinara non erano particolarmente grandi, anzi, ma essendo fuori stagione ci siamo un po' accontentati. Bella l'idea anche delle serate a tema, non abbiamo approfittato scegliendo dal menù ma l'iniziativa è buona e il prezzo proposto sarebbe stato più vantaggioso (giustamente) facendo anche abbinamento a vini compresi, di una cantina che proponeva prosecchi nello specifico. Merita senz'altro una visita. Non economico, ma nella media per il locale.

07/11/2024: Questo ristorante è un luogo meraviglioso Un team pazzesco, sorridente, Graziano e Liliana due perfetti padroni di casa...ed è proprio lì che ti senti: a casa! Il loro amore, la loro passione, i cibi deliziosi. Potrei stare ore a raccontare ma... la cosa migliore che posso fare e consigliarvi di prenotare il vostro tavolo. Le mie stelle sono 100...non 5.

13/10/2024: It was really good! Traditional pizza definitely great crust! But no doubt the service was incredibly good, we got attended by Malena, super sweet and helped us out chop sing the flavors, was always checking if all was good, and even we asked for some recommendations on beaches nearby and she took the time to write them all down and explain what was a must to visit! Thank you Malena!
