17/11/2025: This restaurant overlooks Calasetta's main road, with a holiday atmosphere, a pleasant buzz of customers, and attentive yet very friendly and approachable staff, who served us professionally and quickly despite the busy schedule. We had a very good meal, obviously seafood-focused, though perhaps a bit pricey for the type and portions. Definitely one of the best we've had this summer.

28/12/2025: We ate on Christmas Day. The menu wasn't what I expected. The appetizer included stuffed mussels. I tried one and felt the filling was undercooked.
The first courses were seafood ravioli, which had practically no fish, but something creamy... I didn't like it. The paccheri with mushrooms were good. The second courses weren't bad.
The waitress, Angela, was definitely perfect. She was full of energy, quick, precise, and helpful. Well done.
The price was excessive for what I ate.
18/11/2025: Il Caminetto is undoubtedly one of the best restaurants in Cabras. The atmosphere is welcoming and refined, with attentive and always smiling service that makes you feel truly welcome. The dishes are a tribute to Sardinian tradition, prepared with the freshest ingredients and expertly presented.
The fish is extraordinary: authentic flavors, perfectly cooked, and generous portions. I particularly appreciated the attention to detail in presenting each dish and the chef's ability to enhance the flavors without ever weighing you down. The quality-price ratio is also excellent.
I highly recommend Il Caminetto to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable gastronomic experience in Cabras. I will definitely be back!

28/10/2025: Didn´t use the rooms, only went there to eat.
Very good food, the linguine di gragnano was amazing and full of taste. It was so good I was a little emotional, although the wine might have helped with that 😅 We went there twice and both times the pasta was al dente.

20/10/2025: We followed the recommendations. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed. The food was served in a dog bowl. I had the suckling pig, which had more fat than anything else and was reheated, meaning it wasn't freshly prepared! My partner's fish platter wasn't great either. There are plenty of other places where the food is amazing. This was actually the worst thing we ate on the island in 7 days, and it cost €97.00. The price/performance ratio is absolutely unjustified! Unfortunately, we won't be back!

26/10/2025: We celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary here, and it was a truly special experience. The warm and welcoming atmosphere of the farmhouse was the perfect backdrop for an unforgettable day. We ate wonderfully: traditional Sardinian dishes, tastefully revisited and carefully presented, all greatly appreciated by us and our guests.
The final surprise was the most touching: dessert served on plates personalized with the names of the guests, a thoughtful gesture that made the evening even more unique.
A sincere thank you to all the staff for their kindness, professionalism, and attention to detail. We will definitely be back!

08/03/2026: Sunday family lunch. We were very satisfied: the malloreddus with goat ragù were truly excellent, as were the mixed fried fish and calamari. The grilled vegetable side dishes and baked potatoes were also highly recommended. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Excellent value.
14/10/2025: Rustic and welcoming. Delicious pizzas and a varied menu, from seafood and meat appetizers to delicious first courses and excellent second courses.

Excellent food was served in an elegant setting, full of Christmassy atmosphere, thanks also to the very scenic fireplace with a blazing fire. 09/01/2026: New Year's Eve dinner with friends and family. Beautiful venue, welcoming and elegant, with a gorgeous garden and meticulous attention to detail. Courteous and professional staff, delicious food. The DJ selected excellent music for the evening.

09/10/2025: We loved our dinner here so much we came again for my daughters birthday. Food was extremely good and exciting The chef really knows how to cook! The raw fish with the smoked almonds, the intense fregola, delicious lamb ravioli and the yoghurt mousse all stand outs. Good wine, great service.
