Thanks to a colleague's recommendation, I went to the Porta Portese restaurant with my family today. It was a pleasant surprise, a place without too many frills but with plenty of substance. Excellent value thanks to the use of high-quality, fresh ingredients. In my opinion, it's definitely worth trying again.

Saseada - Sebaderia Artigianale

02/04/2026: We stumbled upon Saseada by chance on our first evening in Cagliari and loved it so much we returned on our last day. The place is small and well-kept, with a historic feel. The young man who welcomed us was super helpful in recommending honeys and liqueurs to pair with our desserts. The fried food was delicious, dry, and light. The honeys are very unique and niche. There's a wide selection of liqueurs and sweet wines.
08/03/2026: I highly recomend to everyone visits Cagliari to try this place
