Il Purgatorio In Tempio pausania

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We visited Purgatorio back in 2024 and chose this restaurant then and there. Small but perfectly formed! We weren't disappointed! In addition to the regular menu, you can also choose from three set menus with different courses and order either fish or meat. We opted for the fish menu – and it was outstanding!! That's why we were so keen to return. And this time, we weren't disappointed either! The menu was superbly composed: three beautifully presented appetizers, an excellent main course with fresh fish, and a wonderful tiramisu to finish. Everything was perfectly balanced in flavor and prepared with great care. We would especially like to highlight the quality of the ingredients, the pleasant atmosphere, and the friendly service. You can tell that the food is cooked with passion. For us, it's definitely one of those restaurants you'll want to return to when you're in Sardinia. A definite recommendation for all fish lovers!

Hands down the best meal we had on Sardenia. The food, the wine and the service were excellent. I’m not sure how Michelin missed il Purgatorio, but I can’t imagine they’ll miss them for too long. Highly recommend.

We happened to be at this restaurant today. The food was fantastic. A surprise menu with three appetizers, a first course, and a dessert. For €37. You can choose between meat or fish. But it's for the whole table. Highly recommended.
