She prefers simple, authentic cuisine, prepared with quality ingredients and authentic flavors. It's difficult to surprise her, even more difficult to excite her. And yet, tonight, they succeeded. Her stories conveyed not only appreciation for excellent dishes, but also the thrill of having enjoyed an experience that left a lasting impression. When a cuisine manages to convey respect for the ingredients, a love of tradition, and care for each guest, then it's no longer just good food, but genuine hospitality. Before hanging up, she entrusted me with a single mission: to advise everyone not to leave without trying the licorice panna cotta. In her words, it was a simply unforgettable dessert. Thank you for turning a simple dinner with friends into a precious memory. There are places you visit and places you take home with you. From what I've heard this evening, your masseria undoubtedly belongs to the latter category.

Osteria Terra Arsa is a well-kept place with truly attentive service: you can sense the care taken at the table, which isn't intrusive but rather makes the customer feel cared for. The expert and meticulous explanation of the dishes was also greatly appreciated. The dishes are original, beautifully presented, and you can see the research behind them, both in the plating and in the selection of ingredients. From what we were told, many of the ingredients come from the family's garden and farm, and this is reflected in the flavors: fresh, seasonal, thoughtful cuisine. A very positive experience, with a wonderful restaurant concept behind it: slow food, seasonality, and a focus on the local area without being forced. We'll definitely be back.

08/07/2026: What a lovely find in Calcinaia. We dined here last night and were impressed by the attention to detail in every single dish. Everything we tasted was excellent. I especially loved the involtini served on a wooden board with that delicate creamy sauce on the side. The presentation is impeccable, and the flavor is truly authentic. 08/06/2026: It was a wonderful experience, the food was excellent. The children enthusiastically followed the prehistoric tour, and during lunch there were entertainers who kept them entertained. The only thing that could be improved was the timing of the service, but the quality of the food was excellent, and the waiters were kind and polite. Worth a try.

We recommend it, especially if, like us, you want to take advantage of its strategic location in the historic center, just steps from the Archaeological Museum (also recommended!). The staff is welcoming, and the dishes blend local products with innovative flavors. The dishes are always balanced yet tasty, and every choice reveals thoughtful consideration. The dining room seats no more than 50 people, but this makes the experience even more special and intimate. We'll definitely be back!
