I can say that my wife and I had an excellent culinary experience that celebrates Puglian tradition, with rich and flavorful eggplant parmigiana and a fava bean purée with chicory that perfectly balances the sweetness of the fava beans with the bitterness of the vegetables. These are authentic, warm, and well-prepared dishes, ideal for those who love the authentic flavors of Salento. I live in Verbania on the shores of Lake Maggiore.

A family atmosphere, extremely friendly staff, and an uncommon kindness: they even helped us (via video call 😊) when we were lost in the maze of old Bari streets looking for our car. 17/12/2025: I recommend removing the "Gluten Free" sign with the crossed-out ear of wheat logo, as it is extremely misleading. Gluten-free is not suitable for celiacs because it doesn't guarantee cross-contamination. According to the clerks, the only products they have for us are packaged snacks.

The place is very well-kept and has something truly unique: it feels like eating inside a cave, with the typical exposed stone walls creating a warm and characteristic atmosphere. The staff is kind and helpful, but above all, the food is truly excellent and the price is right. In short, one of those places where you leave wanting to return. Highly recommended! 👍🏻

17/03/2026: Excellent restaurant in a historic area of ​​Massafra, near the Church of Santi Medici. A custom-built restoration of vaulted ceilings and traditional dishes. Special wines from the Amastuola cellar, especially "Cento Sassi," 15.5% ABV, pair well with fava bean and chicory dishes, spaghetti with olive, caper, and tomato pesto and crumbled tarallo, and a meat and potato medallion. Everything was delicious and beautifully presented. Very good service.

This restaurant, found thanks to Google because it's not exactly on the coast, perfectly met my needs. Quality ingredients, beautifully prepared, served in abundance, so much so that you could fill up on a seafood lunch, which says it all. Here's what we tasted: ​Appetizers: A triumph of flavors with an excellent seafood salad, authentic octopus meatballs, crispy cod croquettes, and tender octopus alla pignata (a true specialty). ​First course: Caserecce pasta with baby lobster, flavorful and cooked to perfection. ​Second course: A light, dry, and fragrant fried calamari and shrimp.
