12/12/2025: Lunch at of my favorite restaurants in Gravina, Osteria Radici, built into a cave on the road to the ravine and the aqueduct bridge
Their focus is on traditional Gravinese food made with local ingredients.
We started with their fried zucchini with mint and the bruschetta with a peperoni preserve and pallone di Gravina cheese.
For mains, we had the spicy assassins’s pasta and the braciole di cavallo, along with wine from Radici’s vineyard (a blend of Primitivo, Nero di Troia, and
Montepulciano).
For dessert, sporcamuss, crispy puff pastry filled with custard.
Service is excellent and the restaurant is beautifully appointed, especially during the holidays!
A wonderful “last supper” on our Pugliese tour!

The right amount of chew to the dough, flavourful base which is perfectly crisp and difficult to achieve with thinner pizzas. Great choices for topping which are excellent quality. We came back two days later 😋

14/04/2026: I can tell you it was a fantastic experience! Go eat there and don't listen to those strange comments. I've eaten there several times and haven't been disappointed. The owner is a very kind and good person; everyone who's been there has a big heart.
14/04/2026: A beautiful place, discovered by chance while strolling through the beautiful Ostuni. The ornaments hanging on the walls of this unique place make it truly unique. I had never eaten frisa before and was impressed. The orecchiette with meatballs were excellent. We left happy, perhaps also thanks to the excellent bottle of Primitivo we drank. Impeccable service and fair prices. We will definitely be back.

25/03/2026: Typical gastronomy, rustic atmosphere, and prompt service. The Bombettes were very good, as were the mashed potatoes and sautéed vegetables. I wasn't so keen on the sausage and liver in the net.

26/10/2025: A nice establishment, but very out of the way. So much so that, at one point, I thought of the movie "All We Have to Do Is Cry." However, it's ideal for those who want to escape, shake off the stresses of everyday life, and recharge. The owner is kind and attentive, and the staff is young, professional, and motivated. Very welcome. The meal was superior to that of a farmhouse. If I had to comment, they could have avoided having animals in the dining room.

I'VE EMAILED THE RESTAURANT AND THEY HAVEN'T REPLIED. IT SEEMS THEY DON'T KEEP THEIR PROMISES AND WON'T REFUND THE MONEY FOR THE MISTAKE!!!
THEY DON'T ANSWER, THEY DON'T WANT TO REFUND THE MONEY, AND I'M STARTING TO THINK IT WASN'T A MISTAKE.
They mixed up one of the pizzas. We didn't say anything because of the language barrier. They weren't good either—a bit thin on the toppings and tough!
Only the place is very nice; otherwise, we didn't like it.

30/09/2025: Pure excellence...delicious dishes...starting with the appetizers and moving on to a spectacular first course of troccoli with cuttlefish sauce...the seared tuna with pistachios is a divinity...compliments to the chef and all the staff.

20/10/2025: A very beautiful, well-kept location, surrounded by greenery. The property appears to have been recently renovated and meticulously maintained.
Clean rooms, a very comfortable bed, and a nice bathroom made for a pleasant one-night stay.
Unfortunately, it was raining and I couldn't enjoy the outside view, but from what little I saw, I'm very satisfied.
The cuisine was very good, using quality local products. The service was also excellent, and the welcome lived up to expectations.
Well done!
