I can tell you it was a fantastic experience! Go eat there and don't listen to those strange comments. I've eaten there several times and haven't been disappointed. The owner is a very kind and good person; everyone who's been there has a big heart.

A beautiful place, discovered by chance while strolling through the beautiful Ostuni. The ornaments hanging on the walls of this unique place make it truly unique. I had never eaten frisa before and was impressed. The orecchiette with meatballs were excellent. We left happy, perhaps also thanks to the excellent bottle of Primitivo we drank. Impeccable service and fair prices. We will definitely be back.

Very characteristic trattoria, traditional and refined cuisine, service a little slow

We found this place online. We went based on the positive reviews. It was a night to forget. I write reviews based on my personal taste, and tonight was a bad one. The location is a trattoria, but the prices aren't. We had typical dishes, but they were poorly cooked. Orecchiette with turnip tops, a very bitter sauce and tough pasta. Spaghetti with creamed fava beans in a tomato and octopus sauce, but again, the flavor was forgettable, and the octopus wasn't even noticeable on the plate. Orecchiette with tomato sauce, but there were only tough orecchiette, very little tomato, and no flavor at all. Meatballs with tomato sauce were the only redeeming feature; they were tasty, a pinch less salt, but overall, they were good. We left the wine in the glass, if you can call it that. For me, trattoria is synonymous with good food, but that's not the case here.

Good food, nice atmosphere but a little cramped for a table of 6 people. Price for a mini appetizer in the center of the table, a first course each, a bottle of wine, water and amaro €37, excellent service.

We came to this trattoria after discovering it through a TikTok video, taking advantage of the fact that we were nearby. We were immediately struck by its style: a classic trattoria reminiscent of "grandma's house"—warm, authentic, and very charming. The location is truly charming and well-kept, conveying a sense of familiarity and welcome. But the real highlight is undoubtedly the food: every dish was exquisite, prepared with care and flavor, so much so that we enjoyed it down to the last bite. The service also lived up to the experience: the staff were kind, helpful, and attentive, explaining the dishes to us with passion and expertise. The only thing to note is the price, which seems a bit high for a trattoria, although this is partly justified by the overall quality of the experience. Overall, it was truly a wonderful experience, which we would recommend to anyone looking for authentic cuisine in a welcoming environment.

The location was fantastic, the menu was delicious, and it took me ten minutes to choose because I could have ordered everything. They found me a spot even without a reservation (I was alone). A truly wonderful experience, to be honest.

Food wise, Trattoria Fave e Fogghje serves up authentic dishes, true to Puglia’s cucina povera tradition, deliciously well. They are often presented with a little flourish (one, that in our opinion, is not always necessary). The food, and service is excellent. The setting is cosy, an eclectic mix of southern Italian and retro Americana, at its best atmosphere-wise with its nicely curated Italian playlist in the background. Book ahead - you will often find it busy with Italian diners, always a good sign! A top Ostuni recommendation.
