10/09/2025: My mother in law and I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful braceria in Ginosa, and I just have to share how fantastic it was, even if this review is late (so sorry)! The place specialises in a variety of meats, as other bracierie, but it was truly an unforgettable experience. I don’t think I have ever had any meat more delicious than what we had that night. The food was absolutely excellent, and the atmosphere was warm and welcoming. We came down from northern Italy, and the hospitality we received was just over the top. The hosts were incredibly kind, and when they found out how far we had traveled, they even gave us a little gift of home made biscuits (also very delicious) for the road! It was just that kind of personal touch that made us feel so at home. If you’re ever in Ginosa or Matera (where every place is fully booked and overpriced) and you love great meat selections and genuine hospitality, this is a must visit. Thanks to the entire family working there (and Anna Rosa in particular) for an experience we’re still talking about months later!

30/08/2025: We ate at this butcher's for the first time, expecting to eat well, but unfortunately, it turned out to be the OPPOSITE! The meat looked good, but it had an unpleasant aroma. The girls serving the food were also rude and unhelpful! They always said no to any questions or information! As soon as we got home, we felt, not bad, but terrible! Stomach pain and diarrhea. I strongly advise against this place!

31/08/2025: The pizza was fine, but not recommended if you're in a hurry. I was told over the phone that it would take 40 minutes, and then had to wait another 30 minutes upon arrival.

09/09/2025: We went to the Madonna dell'Iconella Festival thinking there would be a "party" and therefore food, but it was just a procession with the statue and some beautiful fireworks. 😅 So, hungry, we tried to find a few places downtown and stumbled upon this lovely place. And what luck! We ate fried food, pizza, pinsa, and excellent meat! So every cloud has a silver lining! If you're passing through, definitely come here!

14/07/2025: Da tanti anni che andiamo in questo ristorante e ci siamo trovati sempre bene,ma questa sera ci siamo ricreduti.Abbiamo ordinato antipasto mare e terra che doveva essere x due persone ma da come ci è stato presentato non bastava nemmeno x mezza persona ( es. Un pezzetto di polipo di 3 cm può mai bastare x due? e così altre pietanze tutto minimal) .per non parlare poi della frittura di calamari presentata in piccoli pezzettini ( x farvi capire dei mini calamaretti che non sono indicati x la frittura duri e senza sapore).Chiediamo spiegazione al cameriere il quale va in cucina dallo chef per avere una risposta, ma non lo vediamo più. Chiediamo ad un'altra cameriera più esperta che ci delucita sul fatto che loro usano i calamari di piccola taglia in cucina e ci vuole rifare un'altra porzione di frittura ma noi rifiutiamo. Dopo per compensare ci offre un amaro che accetto volentieri. Vado a pagare il conto e mi ritrovo a pagare anche l'amaro . Insomma una vera amara serata.

14/07/2025: Siamo stati davvero molto bene! Il servizio è stato puntuale nel rispettare l'orario della prenotazione e soprattutto molto attento nel far mangiare le bambine per prime e insieme, anche se avevano ordinato piatti differenti gesto da noi genitori molto apprezzato. Il misto fritto era davvero buono e leggero. Ottima anche la pizza, anche se personalmente l’avrei preferita un po’ più sottile ma resta comunque ben fatta e digeribile. I dolci sono una vera chicca, consiglio vivamente la millefoglie e il tiramisù, entrambi davvero deliziosi. Servizio gentile, attento e impeccabile. Una serata piacevole Consigliato

28/09/2025: Great dining under a beautifully lit tree in a courtyard. The pistachio crusted bream was the best of what we ordered. The beef was too chewy. I would post the tiramisu but it was quickly devoured.

01/11/2025: Excellent, excellent, excellent and woe betide anyone who says otherwise, good food, good location, attentive and friendly service, pleasant and soft music that allows for conversation, harmonious atmosphere with attention to detail... the chef to marry 🤗 we will be back soon.

17/10/2025: A terrible experience even before the event. We had booked at the end of August to celebrate our son's first birthday, agreeing on the room and menu just to be safe. A few weeks before the date, we received a WhatsApp message informing us that the room we had chosen was no longer available because they had accepted a larger reservation. They moved us to a smaller room without prior notice, without asking our consent, and without even apologizing. I tried to contact them by phone for an explanation, but they never returned my calls. The only response was a WhatsApp audio message telling us they didn't have to apologize for anything or even explain anything. A presumptuous, unprofessional, and profoundly disrespectful attitude. As a "remedy," they offered us a "free double prosecco," as if that were enough to compensate for their lack of integrity and integrity. A real shame: respect, professionalism, and communication would have been enough to avoid all this. Obviously, we canceled because trust can't be restored with a glass of prosecco.

19/08/2025: Excellent bread, super taralli... a little "restyling" of the environment, in my opinion, would be in order... certainly the quality of the products is excellent!

15/08/2025: I ordered focaccia and rustica to go for a beach lunch. There wasn't a huge selection, but everything was very good and not greasy. Recommended.

01/10/2025: Our stay at the Ristorante B&B Miramare was absolutely perfect and will stay with us for a long time. Upon arrival, we were greeted by the host family with a warmth that is rarely found these days. You don't feel like a guest here, but almost like part of the family. The food was an absolute highlight. Fresh ingredients, homemade specialties, and traditional recipes prepared with love – every dish was a delight. We particularly appreciated the emphasis placed on quality and authenticity. It's not comparable to "ordinary" restaurant cuisine, but truly culinary craftsmanship at the highest level. The accommodations also impressed us: well-kept, comfortable rooms with everything you need and a family atmosphere where you immediately feel at home. In the morning, you'll be pampered with a lovingly prepared breakfast, providing the perfect start to the day. What makes the Miramare truly unique, however, is the combination of culinary experience and family hospitality. You won't find this warmth and attentiveness everywhere, and that's exactly what makes a stay here so special. We can wholeheartedly recommend Ristorante B&B Miramare – whether for dinner, a short break, or a longer stay. If you're looking for authentic cuisine, warmth, and a true Italian lifestyle, this is the place for you.

30/10/2025: We went to this place for lunch and it deserves a true 5-star review for everything. The staff was kind, polite, and helpful. We had two different first courses and they were well-made, flavorful: the pasta was cooked al dente, the sauce was inviting, and they were well-seasoned. All the ingredients were fresh, but most importantly, I'd never seen them anywhere else—a real novelty! I ended lunch with a profiterole for the first time... I saw it at another table and it piqued my appetite, so I ordered it... I recommend everyone try it; it was simply DIVINE! This place deserves every star possible... kudos to you for your cuisine!!!!!

22/10/2025: The service was completely disorganized; the two starters arrived within 20 minutes of each other, and while one was supposed to start, the other was already digesting. We were the only table that didn't receive bread, and the dips and chips didn't arrive either (the others did).
