07/10/2024: Friendly restaurant with friendly and attentive staff. Bruschetta, steak and orechiette alla mattinatese were very tasty and the price was absolutely reasonable. You can sit in a cozy atmosphere in the small alley with the steps.

16/03/2025: Last night we had dinner with the family, I must say an excellent barbecue place given that it is located in the town of Toritto, everything was of top quality, the reception was top notch, the very friendly owner gave us some advice and we appreciated it given the experience, the modern and comfortable location, very warm atmosphere, open kitchen. The advice if one doesn't want to travel a long way is convenient to spend an evening. I recommend

He recommended the dishes for lunch, we were very satisfied, I hadn't eaten such good tripe and potatoes for years. Everything was good from starter to dessert. 06/02/2025: Unfortunately, my experience at Pizzeria Big Mama was extremely negative. I had booked for 10 people, but as soon as we entered, we had to wait 10 minutes without anyone welcoming us or showing us the table. Eventually, we settled ourselves at a table for 10, but the service did not improve. After we arrived, it took 10 minutes to receive the menus, plus it was half an hour before anyone decided to take our order. The waiter, unprofessional, suggested that we order some frittini to "appetize" as the pizzas would take a long time. Meanwhile, we were still without drinks. When the fritti finally arrived, after an hour, we had to remind them of our drinks: water, wine, beers and Coca-Cola. The frittini, to be honest, were disappointing: just potato croquettes and pittule with sauce that didn't taste like pizzaiola at all. After two hours of waiting, from 9pm to 11pm, the pizzas arrived, and the situation became even more tragic. Some pizzas were raw, others burnt, with acidic sauce and tasteless meats. The sausage, in particular, tasted like rubber. The only positive note was the dessert offered, which was quite good, with a mixture combined with chocolate and icing sugar. However, this isn't enough to make up for such a disappointing experience. I cannot recommend Big Mama Pizzeria. It was a frustrating and unsatisfying evening. Not recommended!

16/03/2025: What I will remember from Nonna Maria are the murderer and the waiter who served us. And it's definitely a good memory! The final bill was surprising because, accustomed to the prices in Milan, one is always surprised when one spends little while eating well and a lot.

11/01/2025: Devo dire che, prima di scrivere questa recensione ho frequentato questo posto per oltre tre mesi, sono rimasto veramente stupito dall’ordine, pulizia, velocità e dalla bontà dei prodotti del bar. Frequentandolo durante l’ora di pranzo i cornetti e dolcetti sembrano appena sfornati. Super super approvato, 5 stelle meritatissime.

25/01/2025: We had lunch every day during our stay in Vieste at this restaurant. Abundant dishes of undisputed quality. Well kept place and friendly, helpful staff. We found wonderful hospitality and a nice welcome. The crouton with olive pâté offered before the meal is delicious. In our lunches we had a large salad, baked potatoes, grilled chicken breast, mixed salad, orecchiette with turnip tops and an excellent Mediterranean sea bass fillet. All courses were delicious and plentiful. At the end of the meal we were offered a taste of sweets or a taste of fresh seasonal fruit (in our case once a taste of tiramisu, the second day of the exceptional watermelon, the third day a taste of a coconut and chocolate semifreddo). Coffee with cantuccini to finish. Excellent quality/price ratio. The restaurant is located a few steps from the seafront. Definitely recommended

19/10/2024: Coma aquí con un grupo de personas de nuestro tour el domingo 13 de octubre por la noche. La sopa de mariscos era increíble - no realmente como una sopa - más como un guiso. Muy delicioso. El sorbete de limón también era muy bueno, y el Tiramisu era excelente. El servicio fue un poco errático con amigos del propietario contribuyendo al trabajo! Ciertamente no sobreprecio. Disfrutamos de nuestra comida y pensamos que este era un buen restaurante para ir con un grupo.
