10/08/2024: Like every year we treat ourselves to a week at the seaside in Mattinata and as always a fixed stop for at least 2 evenings at La Scarpetta D'oro dinner. And what can I say..... in addition to high quality products, a splendid menu, what makes this place the top of the top is the friendliness of the staff, the breathtaking view and above all the hospitality and friendliness of Michele, the holder. 11/08/2024: I've been to a restaurant where the burgers are the real protagonists. I chose a sandwich that surprised me with the quality of the meat, tender and tasty, and with the perfect balance between the condiments. Every bite was a feast for the palate, with flavors that blended perfectly. The chips, golden and crispy, were the ideal side dish. The place has a welcoming atmosphere and the service was quick and courteous. An experience that I highly recommend to those who love burgers done to perfection.

26/07/2024: Really delicious pizza and super friendly staff. Lots and lots of fantastic choices of pizza toppings. Lovely spot in the town centre looking onto a park. Absolutely fantastic value, family of four had a pizza each and drinks for less than €40. The sunset was beautiful around 8.30pm. Would recommend to anyone!!!

18/08/2024: Brilliant place. While in Bari you must visit it. Lots of locals, there are basically two price options on the menu for 8 or 12 euros. The 8 euro option is bruschetta, any pizza on the menu and any drink. The €12 option includes several plates of starters, a pizza of your choice and a drink. Friendly service, delicious pizza, and at the end we also received a scoop of lime ice cream and a glass of limoncello. I recommend it, it's really worth it 💞

The elaborate, fresh and quality food. Not recommended for those who want to eat a lot while spending the right amount because this is not the type of restaurant anyway... more recommended instead for those looking for class, elegance, excellent service and excellent food, knowing however that they will have to pay properly for everything.

26/08/2024: Pessima la qualità del pesce, non era sicuramente fresco e sicuramente é stato preparato male. Solo per fare un esempio, il fagottino di ortica e gambero non é stato cotto a sufficienza al suo interno e il gambero era inesistente, la parmigiana di pesce conteneva spine! E non piccole spine ma spine di dimensioni importanti. Gli antipasti in generale erano deludenti e poco saporiti, degno di nota un accostamento assai dubbio di pesce spada, cipolla caramellata e fichi in brodaglia, spacciato per "in crosta". I vini seguivano la qualitá del cibo. A coronare il tutto, ben oltre i limiti delle basilari norme igieniche, un uomo al centro della sala con gli stessi guanti da inizio a fine serata, prendeva con le mani il pesce crudo e lo metteva nei piatti, e sempre con le stesse mani e gli stessi guanti toccava di tutto. Il conto, com'era quasi prevedibile aspettarsi quando di mangia malissimo in posti spacciati per "ricercati", era ben oltre sopra gli standard. Ora, per un ristorante che serve solo pesce, non bisogna essere chef stellati per pretendere il rispetto delle norme igieniche sui crudi e la qualitá sui cotti, che dovrebbero venire preparati a regola d'arte, altrimenti non serviteli come fossero gourmet.

Ci capita di prendere anche da asporto e devo dire, curato anche quello Lo chef ha veramente un'ottima mano

Abbiamo una squisita carbonara di mare e una frittura di pesce altrettanto buona. Personale gentilissimo ( un plauso particolare alla mamma di Ugo) e rapporto qualità/prezzo davvero buono. 24/08/2024: Come da tradizione siamo venuti da Ugo per festeggiare un compleanno durante le nostre vacanze estive. Piatti buonissimi e molto curati, da provare assolutamente il menu degustazione e la carbonara di pesce.
