25/11/2025: This boutique hotel is located in the historical district of Otranto. Its seafront location offers breathtaking views. The breakfast provided was also delicious. Having breakfast on the balcony overlooking the sea was an unforgettable experience.
You can't drive into the Old Town, so if you call in front of the castle walls, they'll pick you up in a golf cart. You can load your luggage and drive to the hotel in comfort. If you're traveling by car, you can park in the public parking lot, a 7-8 minute walk away, and then walk to the hotel. Parking is free.
The only downside is that the rooms aren't very spacious. This seems to be unavoidable given the building's location in the historical district.
18/10/2025: A small, cozy hotel with very friendly and efficient service and a delicious breakfast. Beautiful view from the hotel terrace 😍
Downstairs room - lighting could be better, bathroom larger, and outside noise was too loud.
Upstairs room near the reception - very comfortable and nice. Prices a bit high.

A place like this should be frequented by people who like to drink and eat American-style, but instead they throw children's parties there, who ruin everything by shouting and making a racket everywhere, distorting the very essence of the place.

Excellent and friendly service.
Typical American atmosphere.
Recommended: pulled pork and eggy burger.

15/11/2025: A surprising discovery. A quaint restaurant with outdoor seating in Torre a Mare's main square overlooking the sea, but also a very welcoming indoor dining room. Let the owner advise you, introducing you to the off-menu dishes and making your mouth water with his explanations of their preparations. We ordered several dishes to share, especially an excellent picanha carpaccio with truffle and a phenomenal fava bean, chicory, and onion dish. Top-notch, we'll be back.

15/12/2025: On a school trip to Lecce, we had lunch at this restaurant, where we had an excellent pizza. Good toppings and excellent leavening. The place is beautiful, welcoming, and clean. The owner and staff were incredibly kind.

09/11/2025: I went there for lunch on the recommendation of friends "to eat well-cooked porcini mushrooms." I've never had such PERFECT porcini mushrooms. Everything was excellent. Both the food and the wine (recommended by the guy who looked after us throughout the meal). The staff were extremely kind and knowledgeable, respectful of our lunch times, and never intrusive. I'll definitely be back to try other dishes I'd glimpsed from neighbors' plates (everything looked delicious). The location was also very beautiful: clean, bright, and overlooking the courtyard with olive trees and antique troughs housing beautiful and well-kept succulents. Everything was very peaceful. Thank you for the wonderful experience.
05/11/2025: We had lunch featuring fresh porcini mushrooms. The quality and freshness of the mushrooms were outstanding. From the "simple" porcini carpaccio to more elaborate dishes like porcini mushrooms covered in kataifi. The waiter was extremely attentive to our needs and precise in his suggestions. An excellent location for a tasty, high-quality meal.

12/10/2025: We had dinner at Don Peppe and it was absolutely delicious. The building is beautiful with a cozy atmosphere. Chef Vincenzo and his staff were incredibly welcoming and were happy to accommodate our request to get the pistachio pasta without prawns. The deserts we had were incredible and we could not more highly recommend Don Peppe. This is a small restaurant so it is best to make a reservation to ensure your seat.
