A warm welcome from all the staff, happy to accommodate a group of 4. I'm embarrassed to say I speak such little Italian, but the staff communicated with us effortlessly. The restaurant has a warm and wecoming atmosphere, situated to the side of Cristo Re (Christ the King). The food was exceptional. The pistachio tiramisu was so moreish. Hubby had the ordinary tiramisu and he also enjoyed his.

During our journey through southern Italy, Osteria La Sagrestia was by far the best restaurant we visited. The food was absolutely outstanding — we had perfectly grilled fish and seafood “ai quattro capperi,” and everything was fresh, flavorful, and prepared with great care. We also really appreciated the kind and attentive service. The whole restaurant has a warm and friendly atmosphere that makes you feel welcome from the very first moment. We truly enjoyed our evening there and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Leuca.

Great little restaurant just off the front. Extensive choice on menu, good value for money, and food much better than the more expensive restaurants right on the front. Helpful and friendly staff, as well.

13/08/2026: A small and delightful place in the heart of the historic center, where tradition is palpable thanks to a family-run business passed down from generation to generation. ​I really appreciated the menu: there's no endless list of "pucce," and that's a huge plus, demonstrating an unfussy focus on quality. I had the puccia with zucchini, capocollo, and burrata, and it was simply out of this world! A rare bonus: it was identical to the photo on the menu, beautiful to look at, and truly delicious. ​My only small suggestion to the staff: make the outside of the place a little more visible or signposted, because we stumbled upon it by pure chance. It would be a shame to miss out on such a gem! ​In any case, Lecce will definitely be a must-visit every time we're in the area. Highly recommended!
11/08/2026: Giannone is an institution; the two pucce are worth the trip from Rome. We stop by every time we're in Lecce, and it never disappoints.
