If you're looking for an authentic place, away from the tourist crowds, La Baracca Osteria is a truly perfect choice. A simple yet authentic restaurant, where you can experience authentic Apulian cuisine, traditional and not "touristy." The dishes are top-quality, and the value is excellent: for two, we spent about €35 for two pasta dishes, a grilled meat, and half a liter of wine. Our only disappointment was not being able to try the appetizer, as there's a minimum order for two people and it's so plentiful we couldn't have eaten anything else... but that also speaks volumes about the generous portions! The staff is attentive, quick, and knowledgeable, always available without being intrusive. Another plus is the ample, convenient parking. The location is slightly outside of Polignano (about 6 km), but that's precisely why it's a great place to enjoy a quiet, authentic dinner. Highly recommended for those who want to eat authentic Apulian food, without compromise! 🍝🍷
